"And they've lined the wall with lead so I can't just go through it. So how do we get in? Maybe we can break down the door?"

I did not. Going to read it now.
"Ha! Throwing him the deep end of the pool to teach him how to swim, eh?" Ta'Su laughs. "You should have thrown in a Hunt!"
Just realized I mixed the names of the brothers up. Ta'Su was supposed to be the one in Fly Free...

"Allow me to test it."
Solivala slams the door with his fist.
Do I need to roll anything I never play brute guys or a flesh wraped golem XD
Oh, crap, now I have to look stuff up...what's the break DC for an adamantine door....
Okay. so it looks like 80 hp and hardness 20 for the door. So that's like the door has DR 20. And you have to do 80 points of damage on top of that to destroy it. It's pretty much an auto hit, being a door. I mean, doors don't exactly dodge. :D

Really? Cause I always thought Su'Ta was in the band and Ta'Su was the one with the skates...so confusing.

Yeah, looking in my "character storage" alias revealed my mistake. I'm too lazy to fix it, so I'm just going to roll with it.
"I'm afraid if I stop I'm going to collapse!" Michael tells Kitty. Turning in a vain search for a safe place to hide, he sees a boulder filling most of his field of vision. Two years of running from bullies made his instinct take over. He grabs a hold of Kitty's hand and pulls her out of the way as he jumps, nudging the boulder the other way.
"This is worse than some of the bullies." He gasps, forgetting for a moment to let go of Kitty's hand. When he realizes he's still holding it, he's glad his face is already red from all the "not-dying" and he let's go.

| narrator |
Solivala is able to slide his way through the cracks around the door very slowly. The seal is nearly but not quite airtight.
In the meantime, Asch is making progress against the door with his shadow attacks.
Not sure how long it will take you to destroy it since that depends on how much damage per round you can do.

"Hey, you're getting better at this already," she said encouragingly. Even though they've been running non-stop, she doesn't appear to be out of breath at all. "You learn quick." ^.^
She sidesteps another boulder and pushes Michael down before he gets hit.

"Okay, all the rumors were true." Michael thinks as he's forced to jump to a pillar rising up next to his. He misjudges the distance and ends up hanging off the side and trying to claw his way onto the pillar. Kitty meanwhile had gotten separated from Michael by a chasm and had been trying to make her way back to him. It was hard to keep track of her movements because half the time it seemed like she wasn't even there.
"So that's how she can be so calm about this class. Boulders can't get aimed at her if she can't been seen!" Michael thinks as he skids to a stop just as a chasm opens up in front of him.
"Careful!" He hears a moment before he's pushed into the chasm. He twists in mid-fall to shout something, but see a boulder fly overhead. Whoever pushed him just saved him an urgent trip to the infirmary.
It almost felt like a blessing that the chasm was too deep for him to climb out of.
"This is the first time being a few inches shorter ever helped me."

| narrator |
Michael sighs.
"It's safer in here though." He says as he grabs her hand and scrambles up out of the chasm. "Are there going to be anymore surprises, like columns shooting out of the walls or spikes falling from the ceiling?"
She blinked.
"How did you know? Yeah, um, Aananda-sensei likes to keep us on our toes. Kind of on the theory that if you can handle this you can handle anything. Watch out!" she said, shoving him out of the way of a boulder as the spot she was standing on suddenly shot upwards. She flattened herself against the stone and just barely missed being squashed flat against the ceiling. She rolled off the pillar and landed near Michael again. "It's not so bad once you've practiced a bit," she added, starting to sound just a little out of breath.

The logistics of schedule changing, while normally handled quite efficiently by the adminstrative office, had a bit of a hiccup with Fei.
The rather abundant adjustments made to the school schedules - and parts of the school itself - by the new construct mage student caused more than a few emergency meetings to stay caught up with what was going on...and Fei's reassignment took almost two weeks to get cleared as a result. Coupled with the large influx of supplies and raw materials to be sorted, the young martial artist almost had no time for his classes.
Things have finally settled back down and sorted themselves out, and Fei has at last made it to his first Advanced Physical Education class. He does his best to avoid the boulders careening across the gymnasium while navigating the constantly changing ground under his feet.
He knows he has to avoid contact with the massive rocks for as long as possible....at least until his tutoring session later in the afternoon with Professor Sunwake, when they will start working on his 'problem talent'.

Once Solivala reforms on the other side he opens the door for the others. While sending a pair of orbs to grab the item.
"Can we be on our way now."
If only it were that simple. After all, if it were easy you lot wouldn't have been blackmailed into this in the first place. And so far you've managed to circumvent the majority of the defenses on account of being a non-evil party, using clever strategies, and the traps being a bit on the rusty side. However....
Within a crystal case in the center of the room sits a ruby the size of a fist beautifully carved into the shape of a heart. It is attached to a thick gold byzantine chain. Light sparkles off of it continuously even when there is no light present. As the orbs reach for the case there is an ominous clanking sound as two large adamantine golems stand and prepare to defend the treasure.
Also, yay, not feverish, for at least two minutes put together. We'll see how long this lasts...probably not very. But it's amazing how much easier it is to write description when I'm not delirious. :D

I'm not mean enough to send golems against you guys without there being someone there who can reasonably be expected to deal with them. :)

He probably shouldn't have been thinking while trying to dodge boulders. One slammed into his arm and he felt it go numb. It didn't look like it was broken, and he was rather busy paying more attention now, so he didn't give it any further thought.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. You failed the second two reflex saves, so you're most likely prone before he starts firing. :)

Ah. That explains it. :)
Okay, so the second two saves are failed. Since it's not an intentional hit we're not talking much in the way of damage, and I'm gonna roll CMB checks to see whether he ends up prone.
Damage for 1st hit: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7
Damage for 2nd hit: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10
1st CMB: 1d20 + 30 ⇒ (3) + 30 = 33
2nd CMB: 1d20 + 30 ⇒ (12) + 30 = 42
As Solivala tries to make his way across the room, he is caught up in the fighting between the two golems and is knocked about by their flailing metal limbs.
