The Avalon Chronicles

Game Master lynora

This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

Doesn't someone already have the seed of destruction thing covered?

Shadow Lodge

Nasima had hers nullified, and I think Rivets is working on all the rest(?).

Hey, guys, can I handwaive the encounter with Ryo and get to my dorm with Kaetar?

And, on that note... anybody want to be roomies?

Just a theoretical question, considering that there are still Seeds out there: Can Avalon's wards be able to take the raw power of a Seed of Destruction?

Well, Nasima/Khoda didn't blow up the school and Khoda had a Seed, and the wards are in better shape now than they were then. So that should answer that question.

It's in plans for an existing character, remaining anonymous because I don't remember if this is general knowledge yet.

Very well, by all counts. If people would stop attacking the town he's chosen as the center of it all, things would probably be better :)

This. I just lost half my work force and what's left is working on burying the dead and rebuilding the town. My plans for expansion are on indefinite hold. :(

Orders for skimmers, hoverbikes, and shuttles are backed up like crazy, a design flaw in the shuttles needs to be fixed on all the ones that were already sold, we need to build more mechs cause two just isn't enough considering, and plans to make datapads available outside of Avalon are once again on hold...and that's not even counting any of the other ideas currently in development....

Ok, this is almost too descriptive for me.

Isn't lyn easily grossed out?

Ah. Yeah, teacher's aid is a flexible term.

I was one in a school i was at, as i was kinda on top of the class- i basically ran errands and other things. It wasn't a job, more so "designated errand boy"

So Kor is going to teach the third elementary class. Anyone interested in being a teachers aide for Ephebe's class?

That's cool. We can have a quick scene or just hand wave the offer.

Whichever you would prefer.

Indeed! Diablo II. DK's can do it in WoW too...which isn't surprising as Blizzard did both games...

Shiro could teach remedial classes. Not to actual elementary students, but to the ones in need of beginner schooling.

Lyn, is this still relevant?

Shiro could teach remedial classes like with Archena, Pyry, Asha, Rena, Kodjack, ones like that.
With a daily dose of "healthy social interactions 101" from the psych panda. :)

Ah, sorry, missed this. Why would Archena be in the remedial class? Does she lack basic reading and writing and math skills? That's what the remedial class is supposed to cover. If she does belong in that class that's fine, I was just curious.

And yeah, that might be good. I was starting to get a bad feeling about sending this group over to the elementary school. And not one of them actually showed up for class on time. :)

One of them was considering having a quickie, which would've made her even later.

Very worrisome, for an elementary school student. ;)

Dealing with Seeds of Destruction is something that concerns all the Champions. And no matter how many you take out, somewhere out there is at least one more. Every time one is 'destroyed' it basically just goes dormant for a while before finding another host.

Ah, no. This is more of a support staff member because there's a lot of kids in that class in need of extra help. Plus Ephebe sometimes has to step out to deal with a crisis or administrative task and it would be very helpful to have another teacher in that classroom.

Oh yay, I get to revisit the nightmares from the cadaver dissection for A&P. >.<

She has very /very/ basic skills. Like first grade level. Just things she picked up, no real schooling. She hardly existed, so social graces and schooling weren't important.

I can do that. It'll give Shiro a bit more screen time. It's hard to have him be useful when I'm apparently not as good at psychology as I thought. So having a class will help in an area I can actually play. :)

When we just had one or two in the elementary it was fine, but now it's more than five and that warrants a class of its own.
And who better than the psychologist panda to teach. He has a degree, can handle trouble kids well, can teach social skills subconsciousy, etc etc etc.

Sort of. Because it's not a full Champion aura they can't just tell by looking at the person. But they can tell if they happen to see the aura come out during an act of wanton destruction.

Okay, so when the remedial class goes to use the arrows they will lead to Shiro's classroom instead of the elementary school. And this is almost certainly a better arrangement. :)

Silence. You can't make things humorous... you are too busy being queasy over a minor bit of gore...

If you would just use skeletons instead...
It wouldn't be gross.
And it would be humerus.
