Noticing some point of view issues here. Not with you Diamani, with the character. She critisizes people over their choice of words and then does this. . . She needs to check her own self before she gets on other people's case about . . . Well everything. In character stuff of course just some particular phrasing I noticed.
Ardiente never claimed to be a 'master', I believe her issue with Lang was one of control: Anahita doesn't like people to control nature. This was also brought up during her conversations with Ehos.
That being said... sometimes people are hypocrites! Who knows! ;)

More importantly too, Anahita isn't perfect, far from it. Which you're noticing.

Though-- Tybalt, I will profess, you did make me think on the choice of word, which-- in hindsight, might have been better said else how.
Sadly-- sometimes people 'say' stuff, and they cannot take it back, i.e. I hit submit and didn't choose to edit it.

There is a concept in writing, I forget the name of it. [someone]'s Pen. I think.
Basically, the concept is that NOTHING in good writing is an accident. This is my problem right now, and why it sometimes takes me so long to get a post put together. With 6 characters now in play, trying to be fully fleshed characters, I have to avoid the trap of the writing style of each character bleeding into one another.
Ardiente and Midori have similar world-views on politeness, meditation, etc, but I try to remember as often as possible that Midori is 11, she won't have the vocabulary and knowledge that Ardiente does.
That post I just wrote with ardiente took me 30 minutes for that very reason. I was trying to make sure each word was right.
Sometimes I run out of creative juices though, but I try very hard for each character to feel unique, each word I write to mean something.
I just thought it interesting she used practically the same choice of words to praise someone that she was irked to hear from someone as a simple descriptor of ability with no arrogance in tone at all. If you change plural to singular and remove "core"(if you want) it is the same words.

She appears to be 16 years of age and human. The picture I selected is as close to her facial appearance as I can find. Technically, the Cleric that the image is based on is Garoundi, (if that's the proper racial term), Hindu, versus Persian.
Anahita is more Persian, in appearance. She has dark skin, etc. plus all the Aryan sort of characteristics for bone structure, etc. Angular, defined and rich.
Eventually we will all forget about what Ardiente never did. Eventually.

I would encourage you to look past the 'error' of word choices, and instead, ICly get to know my character- I made someone with a ton of depth and issues, perfect for attending this school.
Otherwise, I'd be off in a dungeon ganking shit and getting phat lewt with a gestalt or the like.

I understand also I wasn't aiming to criticize, just to point out a funny inconsistency I noticed. Outside of a large group we were both in talking to other people during (we may have exchanged a post or two I don't remember) Tyb hasn't met Anahita yet really.
Lang would like to know her but needs to get past the arrogant issue.

one thing that will revive any game is homebrew. Don't be afraid to make stuff up.
depends on who you play with, if you have a traditionalist or a rules lawyer they will (probably) pitch such a fit over homebrew

Everyone knows you're the rules and loophole lawyer. This is an undeniable statement of fact. It added flavor to the game. Besides I'm too lucky to get a bad result on a dice roll like that.
