if i have any mountain dew, it never lasts. love the stuff, but i don't have it too often, as it's gone much too fast after it is recieved. im fine without caffeine. even when im tired, tge pills keep me awake. I'm used to it, and enjoy not being asleep. i just wish i could do what the REM sleep does while awake, and organize my own thoughts.

Not sure about that DB3... Keme seems to have the Immunity to Lectures supernatural ability. This is a direct counter to Anahita's previously noted 'super' power: lectures.
He does indeed. Otherwise Genosuke would have put him in his place years ago. :P

GM Fireclaw |

Oops. Seems like we might be on to the next Avatar now. After air is... water right? Hmm... maybe I should make a waterbender...
;D
In case it wasn't obvious: Kidding!

Settro |

should the pain get much worse, settro might come running.

While true, he is also not a pretty girl. That might change things a bit.

Damiani |

Keme? I look forward to the potential interaction.
Really depends on a few things, honestly.
What those few things are, though, are secret. :D
Complicated girl, this Anahita, very complicated- and yet, potential to be /so/ simple. Ah, tasty stuff.
Anyhow. Yay! helping someone.
Poor bad luck guy. We'll see how this goes.

Pfft, you saw his handling of Nasima and Vai during the whole Khoda deal.
Pretty girls just make him more annoying, not less.

Vai Sunwake |

If I am remembering it right, Vai was annoyed and stubborn at his attitude.
I think he and Vai somehow made their way to a truce though, strange as that may seem.
And then there was some heavy flirting between Keme and Nasima after Khoda was dealt with.
At least, from what I remember. I haven't re-read that section of the backlogs in quite some time.

Silly grim... you can't reap the Avatar

"Ace" |

Hey Lyn,
Can you have Ginni respond to Ace? I've been waiting for her(or I suppose a healer) so I can head off to the library.
Unless you did respond and I missed it, at which I apologize.

Yeah, he and Vai came to a truce eventually.
And yes, there was a lot of flirtation with Nasima. He really liked her. It did not seem to be mutual though. He sulked about that all summer. :P

Aagh. Sorry. I don't remember if I replied to that or not. I thought I did, but I might have got distracted. I'll get that up now.

I have something really cool to share with you guys! Especially those who are into doctor who. There is a website that does t-shirts called Snorg-Ts and I sent ideas into them frequently. Today one finally got accepted! They're sending me $150 dollars and a free copy of the shirt! I read my email while we were at computers in English class and I feaked out in the middle of the class room. linkified right here! Still freaking out!

sure you can he just doesn't stay reaped,
that's how the whole reiencarnaton thing works, and in the origional show, the avatar is not the only one to be reiencarnated, he's just the most visable one, and the only one that gets to keep stuff from his past lives.but yeah, as per the mythos of my show, and the book series that inspired the patron: death, there would have to be a reaper present at your death seeing as you are important enough, doesn't have to be the big guy (but it's suposed to be him) and you don't have to see him but he would be there.
as far as grim is concerned, he's a delivery guy, not a security guard, if you get unreaped that's not his problem.

Ardiente, of the Fuerte |

Sadly, I cannot contrive a way to have Ardiente interrupt the Lang/Ignace scene. Such is life.
The inferno should probably be setting off alarms somewhere XD
Also... is it safe to assume the anti-violence wards work off of both intent and actions? (ie, you ahve to WANT to hurt someone, and then hurt them for detention to trigger?)

Tybalt Baneko |

Hey Lyn couple quick magic questions 1 is it possible to combine shifty teleporty spells with mage hand to teleport 5 pound things around and 2 can I spellcraft my levitation into a large gold ring to make a simple halo that floats above one's head. It wouldn't do anything at all so I don't really think it's worthy of needing craft wonderous item.

as much as Lang would love to have your help. I almost feel that this scene is just as important to lang as it is for Ignace. he needs to have purpose and so far he feels Ignace is his purpose.

Yes, there has to be intent and action. Hurting someone accidentally doesn't trigger detention.
Now if someone is hurt badly enough they get magically teleported to the infirmary, so technically Lang is in no real danger, but I don't think he knows that.

Settro |

I just had a funny thought.
Settro, cannot be burned, plus 'monster'.
Ignace, burns, considers herself monster.Settro lives off her sorrow and fears, yet fulfills her need for company.
Ignace, lives safely with Settro, knowing she's with a fellow 'monster'.Yay! Odd pairing!
actually, i can burn. 30 fire resistance, however.

Just calling back to the previous conversation involving Ardiente and Ignace...
Yes, Ardiente and Ignace are only 5 years apart... but that means when Ardiente is 19, she will be 14. I'm pretty sure most laws forbid that ;P
Mostly, just being self-depricating over here ;)

spirit of good? I always thought of the avatar state as strict LN, with aang as a CG (a super naieve one at first)
you know ballance being empasised, so much and did you see aang at the north poll destroying those ships, fun fact firebenders hate the cold, fun fact part 2, that can kill a non firebender really easy, and after slaughtering hunderds of enemy troops, he nonetheless preaches that he is a pacifist, spirit of good, I think not, and if you look at chinese mythology, this one is a realativly nice spirit,

Damiani |

You guys and your stats.. sheesh.
So technical. You're missing the point-- she's suffering, you're suffering and yet, you'd both be helping one another. Cue 'awww' and appropriate music.
Plus, you're both NON-HUMANS! 'Awwww' again! Even your Mother, Settro, might be overjoyed at the prospect of corrupting- er.. seeing grand kids being born of your union.
More 'awww' please.
Think about it! It's like a sick sort of demonic firebird co-dependence, and yet, love! (Sorta). Demon stuff too! Woo!
Going back over here now.. done.

Okay, I lied- not done.
Five years difference means .. nothing! Plus, this isn't planet Earth. I dunno even know what the 'age of consent' on the planet is. :P
Could be 12. Ho ho! Think on that.

This conversation is not helping the PEDOBIRD cries that I am sure are coming...
Though speaking from a purely acedemic standpoint... it has been noted that Firebirds grow up as the same rate as humans (though live much longer, if I am remembering correctly), this would mean Ignace is about to be childbearing age... which is probably all Firebird society needs to see that she is married off and starts to bear children!
This conversation is deeply disturbing.

The truth! You can't handle the truth!
Something like this. :)
Also, more importantly-- in any species that faces their own survival, or survival is at stake, you'd be surprised how quickly that overcomes morals and such. It really is a potentially nasty situation, from the limited information I've read here so far. You wouldn't be far off- hell, other games have spoken of this same sort of 'breeding' requirements necessary to sustain the numbers, as it were.
Add in genetics, science, heck-- magic? You'd be surprised just how much tampering of the natural order that could go on to pop out babies, just to survive. It's our core drive- I'm pretty sure it's the core drive of nearly any living being, no?

So, so disturbing. Okay, official answer time folks!
Firebird society is dealing with a dangerous decline in population. And these folks believe in arranged marriages. Traditionally one would wait until the child in question was twenty since that is officially the age of adulthood for a firebird. However, that age has been creeping younger and younger as they 'encourage' more young people to get married and have as many children as possible. So fifteen is not unheard of. Fourteen would be considered shockingly young still. Twelve....you people are just sick. :)
Anyways, that's a lot of the reason for so many firebird adolescents at Avalon. Not all are part of the progressive movement, though many are, but many are sent by their families or escape here themselves in order to avoid forced marriage at such a young age.

Hahaa..
Not to mention, the Infirmary hands out those anti-fertility babbles too!
Win win. :) Get your schooling on, kiddos. Then come home and share the knowledge you gained. Just ask Ehos!
Tee hee.
Incidentally-- I'm just poking fun here. It's a game, not real life. Yes, 14 or 15 is officially, 'too young', but .. there's been worse, just check the internet. Besides, it's humorous to me to see what the potential suitor's reactions would be-- either OOCly, or not.
Just making sure! Plus I never once spoke of any 'act', just .. coupling. Heh.

Actually becuase of the magical nature of the world aterations are needed Lang is LG and an exaulted chaarcter (from the book of exaulted deeds) the light is the "Nimbus of Light feat" effect also this is not the show it may have some basis from the show it still is a different world where magic is just as powerful as bending and much more prevalient. so alterations are needed to make it all mesh a little better.
