IIRC, all of the other sailors from the Man's Promise got taken away on the Wormwood. Don't quote me on that though.
Also, I should probably act out my influence attempts more. Boldwin is apparently turning into quite the ladies' man. :P

And this seems to be enough for Victoriana to determine that Boldwin and Dhugal are trying to round up support against Plugg, so she'll help where she can. Still trying to play dumb, she'll approach the sailors she thinks she can speak to in Polyglot or Gnomish, which has the added benefit of being languages the pirate officers likely don't know.
Not sure how many I can influence, but it looks like Boldwin gets 8?

Believe or not, the DC to influence him was exacly 28! only with that said 20 you would be able to influence him.

No worries! I'm someone who has written and run quite a lot of roleplaying games, and I know some people are very interested in the "meet a stranger to marry" plots. I'm also not used to playing female characters, that was just how I pictured this one.

Well... I suppose some of that evening will be left to the imagination. I guess the real question now is how much useful information Victoriana gets out of the whole encounter.

Information: 0 That was the catch. Pass and he would tell Plugg's plans, fail and he would postpone the conversation.
Evening: The gnome will sing and count histories and such for the night.
The next day, you'll be really tired for spending the night talking and singing.
Really, I told you, nothing will happen unless you actively search for it. :)

Well... at least he might be on our side now.
Vic will wake up convinced that Conchobar doesn't have any information worth knowing, and will ignore him a bit and talk to some others on the boat instead (new diplomacy checks if necessary).

Heck, I'm also fine with GMs who just give general descriptions and details of the things. Just figure it's worth checking if I know anything about, say, resistance to fire.

Hey folks, hear me out.
I’ve given a lot of thoughts about this game, and I’m calling it to a halt.
I’ve never really got into the right mindset for it, and I get the feeling that it reflects for you and in the end you are not having fun. I must admit for one that I’m not.
I ask apologizes for you all specially for Vic, since the game just began for her. I’m sorry I could not deliver what I promised.

Yeah, thanks for giving it a go, Aku. Sorry it didn't work out. Especially for dien and thunderbeard who just joined. Those were some good characters.
Having said that, I liked all the characters and all of you folks are some really good posters. Maybe I'll catch up with some of you in another thread someday.
