Hi all - I will be on travel next week - I should be able to post, but if I miss a day, it will be because of limited computer access.
Unless Miro fireballs us all.... I wouldn't be concerned normally, but he keeps whistling "Ring of Fire"....

What?! I am trying out a new formula... Yes. I figured out a little more. Been reading way too much. She grumbles she can finally understand some of the voices in her head.
"ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਨਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ"
Hippa |
You are the reason Hippa took Channeling feat and brew potion(healing) feat.
Just saying. ;-)
Speaking of which, I gotta alert MiniGM that she is churning out CMW potions 4 days out of 5.
The 5th day is a random potion for funsies. (Bear's Endurance, Bull Strength, Cat Grace, Invis, Delay Poison, Resist Energy (Fire), See Invis), and a variety of Holy Water representing the pantheon.
She would be passive aggressively mumbling about pound of cure vs 6 oz potion of prevention as she goes about her day...

On a more personal note, I am in the last two weeks of classes. Pressure to finish projects and study for exams. After that, I can return to a more productive participation. Still have two jobs but more free time for creative outlet.

As my other games are getting closer to winding down and I am having a bit more time coming soon I am pondering another type of campaign. Wanted to run it by you guys to see what you think of it. NOT STARTING IT ANY TIME SOON just brainstorming.
It would be an amalgam of various campaigns and modules, all modified to give all characters a chance to be in and out of their element. The type of game that would let you be a human cavalier and actually be able to use your mount and ride into battle, but then you find yourself in a small dungeon delve later. You are a blaster wizard? Great. Sometimes you will be faving a horde of goblins who you can incinerate in a second, but the next mission you find yourself facing magic immune constructs. You are a rogue? Well that's awesome on the sneak into the mansion mission, but sucks when you find yourself in the middle of a battle field in full daylight with foes immune to sneak. etc etc.
Stats would be rolled, probably by me, then players could assign however they wanted.
[b]The house rules[b]
Guns
They don't hit touch, rather they will have an armor penetration up to the hardness of the bullet
Amount of shots that can be taken by a firearm will be limited
Crossbows
Will also get some armor penetration ability
Classes
No archetypes
Feats/Spells Etc
Limited to what is in Core AND the book the class comes from.
ie. You are a wizard. All you can get is stuff in Core
Bloodrager? all you get is what is in core and what is in advanced Class guide
Items
Same as above
Exceptions
None, except if you encounter it in the game. IF you find a scroll of some spell not in your book , you can try to learn it.
Why?
I just cannot keep up with all the options out there. Obviously it would not be for min-maxers but could be interesting. It would be much streamlined for sure.
Thoughts?

Three exams done, although the 15-page thesis due Fri is frickn killing me. On the plus side, I look forward to the free time Monday. Actually put some thought into my participation here (and track the information given out by MiniGM) and possibly start trolling the recruitment thread for another campaign.
Also sorry about Hippa and the Create Potion feat. I should have kept in mind this was a published campaign not a sandbox char dev plot. I got excited and lost sight of the forest.
Can you tell I am procrastinating my paper? The Politics of Carbon Taxation. hmmmmm, maybe I'll check out MiniGM's new recruiting efforts for five ten minutes.

Buying and selling is Exxor's specialty.
He will try to find a likely candidate for acquiring a wayfinder, and negotiate the price. If all else fails he will track down the Dusk Market and take Tram and/or Miro along.

Does the party have a "party treasure" list or fund or has everything been split?
If it is all split; I will give Miro a 50 gp IOU out my share from the next treasure split (assume Miro agrees) and purchase the Wayfinder myself.

Assuming a week has passed? or if only mere days reduce accordingly. As per my craft brew feat: one potion/day. Mon-Thu: 1 CMW/day, 1 Resist Energy (fire)/This Fri

Check: You can earn half your Profession check result in gold pieces per week of dedicated work. You know how to use the tools of your trade, how to perform the profession's daily tasks, how to supervise helpers, and how to handle common problems.

The locker contains a package of six sets of
false identity papers, each marking the bearer
as Chelish nobility in good standing with
House Thrune. Even though they are vastly
outdated, the papers still provide a +2 bonus
to any Bluff checks made against the dottari,
Hellknights, nobles, or other Chelish authorities.
Each set of papers is worth 300 gp. Under these papers
lie four potions of gaseous form, six potions of cure moderate
wounds, and six potions of lesser restoration. A thin wooden
folio sits on the bottom of the chest under the potions;
pressed between its covers are several scrolls and sheets of
parchment. Above, a teak wand case wedged into the locker’s
lid contains a wand of restoration (13 charges). A key ring sits
around one of the potion bottles—this key ring contains
the keys to areas various areas in Delhaven
Finally there is another small chest which contains vials of swirling blue-purple liquid. There is enough for a vial for each of you.
1 Paper each, 2 left over
1 Gaseous Potion each
1 Cure Mod Potion each 2 left
1 Lesser Restore Potion each 2 left over
Wand of Restoration (13 charges)
Keyring to Delvehaven
