My son Robbie is in the hospital for seizure like activity until at least Tuesday. I'll be spending a lot of time at the hospital with him. Please bot me as needed.

Robbie came home from the hospital today. He's been diagnosed with infantile spasms which are a form of seizure. I'm not sure how much time I'll have as we readjust so bot me as needed but I'll probably poke my head in a little more now.

Guys, sorry for the drop in communication. My wife went to the ER this past weekend from a procedure that happened the week before and I've been dealing with that. Everything is alright now, but I won't be able to put the time or focus on GMing until Saturday or Sunday at the earliest. Sorry again.

I apologize for my lack of posting or slowdown of late. These last two weeks have seen a great many things come up professionally, medically, and now legally. I will catch up and post as best as I can, but while dealing with health issues with the wife, I am also going through a professional transition from a job that I held for over 5 years and back into the medical field, as well as dealing with the legal system after a teacher at my son’s school not only battered him in the classroom multiple times but dragged him through the hallway by his neck. This might be considered a bit of oversharing by some, but I wanted you all to understand and I felt “Life is getting rough” was a bit too vague.
I will update as I can and will continue my games, but please understand if my pace temporarily slows. If I am a player and you need to bot me to maintain pace, please do so with my apologies. If you are in a game I am GM’ing, I have not and will not abandon you and I will update as I am able to.

Ok guys, s%~+ hit the fan in a real way, and I completely ditched you for much longer than what I intended to. For this I really apologize. I still have a few things percolating, but the majority of things are if not resolved then at least on a back burner for right now. I am still going through a few transitions, but I hope that the majority of the insanity is past. I will be striving my utmost to get back to my daily post rates.

GM Fez: I understand that I have been absent for quite some time as far as the game is concerned. If you feel it necessary to dock me or even drop me from the scenario, I completely understand. Please just let me know how you wish to proceed with this. I will refrain from posting until I hear back from you.

The game's slowed down so much you really haven't missed much. Besides we're calculating 4 skill rolls and 1 combat encounter away from finishing. I don't see a reason to dock you any for it. Welcome back, if you need help with anything, or just want to talk PM me.

Posting this to all my games: Sorry for the lack of posting. For the second time this year, I got the flu, and the internet is out at my house right now (where it has been for the last two days). It should hopefully be resolved by Monday, and if not I'm going to switch ISPs. Please feel free to bot me until I am back up and running, and if I am running your game, I haven't forgotten about you!

I feel like a real disappointment lately for you guys. It has been all I can do to get on here every couple of days due to my real life schedule. I have been working for the last month in a hospital emergency room during the week and my old security job through the weekends. As part of the orientation process at the hospital, I have been working night shifts while attending day classes and orientations trying to not only jump through the hoops of hospital new hire requirements, but also trying to recertify in all of the lovely crap that expired over the last 6 years of not working in the medical field. End result being 7 day weeks for most of the last month and going several days at a time just going from one job or class straight to the next as I flop between days and nights and grab an hour of sleep here or there. Lovely part about all this has been that it has basically been a weeks notice at most for everything. Go in on Monday and they tell me what classes I take which day and which nights I will be working in between.

I thankfully should only have one more week of this crap before I get to stay on my night shift schedule.. its just a matter of holding out that long. Next week should see the end of the daytime classes and onboarding orientation, which should allow at least a modicum of a schedule to resume as I move into the unit based orientation.

Real life takes precedence over game life, take your time since we are all in on this for the long run, As long as the Almighty Fez is good with it.

Sleep a lot, eat a lot, and try not to infect anyone else.

That's my best advice for illness in general.

Take your time, games are low on the priority list in life. And knowing where we are and where we're going allows for slower play.

Whatever is your favorite. If you've got feats dedicated to a particular weapon I'd pick that cause it will probably be your main form of attack unless you find some fey or lycanthropes or something.

I have mine downloaded as well.

You should save your money until you have enough to buy a +1 adamantine weapon, as shatter will absolutely destroy a non-magical weapon.

I have almost 3k gold right now, so I could maybe buy one I have to look at my HeroLab but if I sold my Masterwork Halberd and invested in a +1 Adamantine one could I use PP to supplement some of the cost?

Also has anyone used their PP to buy titles?

Sadly no, the PP is for single purchase things only ala 1st level wands, 3rd level potions, 2nd level scrolls with multiple castings, darkwood composite longbows, etc.

On a different note I'm getting prepped to start the next scenario: 6-11 The Slave Master's Mirror. It has faction important things for Liberty's Edge and Silver Crusade members.

Ok I picked it for Kelris but haven't really done to much about it, I will have to work on his idea for the faction a bit.

Also what about the titles you can buy with PP? Anyone ever done those?

My first PFS character has all of the Quadira (now exchange) faction titles.

I've been out with medical issues since Aug 26th. I had a colonoscopy on the 27th and surgery on the 28th. This was planned but with all of the site problems I didn't get a chance to warn any of the games I am in. I'm home and out from work for at least 4-6 weeks. I don't know what my posting will be like but I'm sure will depend on how I feel and how the drugs work.

I was planning on starting a campaign before the surgery took place for my DM's and those I play in games with. I was going to use the time before surgery for recruitment and then start the game when I got out of the hospital. If I get it up and running I'll let you guys know. It's going to be a fun next few days getting used to being home again.
