Lol. Well if the other (shorter lived) races need more guidance, support and leadership, I guess that is my burden to bear. Though, like any parent, I must suffer through the tough times as the children muddle their way toward the light.

I am going to be putting 3 EXP onto Morka from a Thornkeep level that I have been GMing in between the games. This means he will be level 4 for the next scenario we play. I hope you don't mind. This will catch Morka up to everyone else!

Merisiel is going to warn Grandmaster Torch about the assassins.
Torch is mercenary. The Red Mantis are zealots. The former you can deal with.
It is probably best that she keeps her mouth shut for now, since she has +0 Bluff, but she is absolutely going to tell Torch, so that he can set an ambush to kill whatever Red Mantis agents come for him.

![]() |

Kelris would as well since they weren't sent here to have Torch killed and it isn't something that he would want to happen to the man. Torch really did nothing to Kelris so why would Kelris allow the Red Mantis to try to Assassinate him.

Why do lesser races need to be understood again? At least this way, I have provided myself greater ability to process the shortcomings of the non-elven community.
I am hoping by mid fifth level I can add wisdom to it. Just under 4K to go!

![]() |

I guess we don't, no reason for you to understand the race that populates of of the planet and well is from this planet, no some Alien race from beyond a gate :)

I will post tonight after work, apologies.
Moral Tuxx, 159547-17, Sovereign Court, normal exp track, Take 10 for 20 Day job. Thanks.

So, looking back I was surprised to see that this campaign is a few days over two and a half years!
How have you guys put up with Fethril for so long?
Seriously though, you have been a great group of players. Fez, thanks for keeping this going!

![]() |

I am having a great time. Really looking forward to hitting seventh level so I can Prestige it up as a Mystic Thurge. Not that it will be spectacular by any stretch of the imagination. However, I will have a CORE Mystic Thurge. I can't imagine there are too many of those running around.
Hmm. Just had a though. Maybe the next time they run an online special we could try and play this crew together. FEZ, if you did not want to run that, you could possibly play with us (I would guess you have a CORE GM baby you are planning something with).
Just tossing it out there.

YES and/or YES.
Whether through training or a reliance upon a magical enchantment, it would be a remarkable accomplishment. A skill which would almost elevate your abilities to those of a true elven warrior initiates. Quite an achievement for a being as short lived as yourself.

![]() |

Even where you can be a real person, Fethril still pokes through.
It would be 8th level before I can get Improved Crit, Or maybe by 5th when I can get my Halberd enchanted with Keen.
Decisions decisions.

![]() |

Well, waiting until 8th is definitely playing the long game. 8K for the halberd is a bit on the expensive side. Normally it would be cheap considering you would be 'buying' a feat, but as a warrior, you have plenty of those.
Maybe purchase the Keen, so you have three more levels to enjoy the crits. Investing a feat on a 1 chance in 20 is maybe not going to be the most bang for your buck, where something like Vital Strike will come up every combat, no matter what the attack roll is.
Just my 2 copper.

![]() |

A scroll with 2 castings of Keen Edge is not a bad option for 2 PP, so you can try out having Keen for a few fights and see if it's worth it.
Vital Strike doesn't work with iteratives, but if you are moving and attacking it's a good option. Step Up is a really good feat to pick up (especially if you also get Disruptive).

![]() |

Ya that is a good idea, I will have to Ask Fethril for assistance with that casting though......
I will buy the scroll after this adventure. I feel like PFS doesn't allow for a lot of Full attacks so Vital Strike would be good, plus this is Core so my feat choices are much more limited.

GM Fez |

Just so you guys know since I can't find a printer and am having trouble prepping the chronicle sheets, hope to do that today, no guarantees the next scenario uses the Mythic Rules. I can't remember how many tiers you guys get, but I think? its 3. Hopefully you'll be able to glance over the rules if you're not familiar with them.

![]() |

Kelris is going to go Champion, I will make two different Hero Lab files so I don't have to mess around as much with my main save.
What was this module called?

![]() |

Here is what I am looking at taking:
Trickster, Tier 3
+4 Dex (+2 Mythic Improvement, +2 Enhanced Ability Score)
2 Mythic Feats (Extra Mythic Power, Extra Path Ability)
Hard to Kill (auto-stabilize, dead at -24)
Mythic Power 11/day (9 base, +2 from mythic feat)
Surge +1d6
Amazing Initiative +3 (Init mod is now +11)
Recuperation
Trickster Attack: Surprise Strike
Trickster 1: Thwart Detection
Trickster 2: Unwavering Skill
Trickster 3: Mirror Dodge
Extra Path Ability Feat: Enhanced Ability Score (Dex)
Open to suggestions.

Eventually.
I've grown to like Merisiel!
I have three Core PCs.
#1 is Level 12 and is waiting for Eyes of the Ten. He is a Core Rogue that repeatedly disproves the board's conventional wisdom about Core rogues.
#2 is Level 7 and doing a Gameday game. I was going to sit him until this party caught up but I like him too much. He's an Eldritch Knight.
#3 is a pregen-credit blob. Never actually played him. He will have 4 XP when we finish this arc (well, 3 XP and 1 chronicle waiting to be applied when he hits 4th), so a ways to go to catch up with everyone here.
What I could do is start a new PC (#4), apply future credits from this campaign to #4, and then start running some modules or Emerald Spire in Core to quickly get #3 up to 5th or 6th and have him join here. (As I understand, I can't be simultaneously running a game that gives #3 credit and also playing a game that gives #3 credit.) Class could be anything, but it seems Rogue is good. He is an Oread due to a scenario boon that #1 acquired.
If we do get to Eyes, I could have several to pick from at that point.

I'm holding off on the Mythic for a bit as I think the chronicles have specific attributes (as I recall). So, I don't believe it's as simple as a button click or two on my HeroLab.
Suffice to say, I will lean toward the Hierophant to maximize the 3 level class, instead of trying to bolster the lagging wizard. Not quite disappointed with the mystic thurge just yet, but 7th level seems VERY far away. Still, in for a penny...
