Yeah I am having trouble finding my niche. :P
I have a few ideas, (Again, trying to play something other than a straight caster) but I can't seem to find my inspiration. The template to mold my PC from. ;P
Wherefore art thou my inspiration?!?!?!?
<.<
Riddick?
>.>
Rocket?
<.<
Moriarty? (per the new Sherlock series)
O.O
Ooo, maybe? 'The Prince of Thieves' from Hercules/Xena series? As played by Bruce Campbell? :)

How about a Hairy (Rocket), Riddick that is intelligent like Moriarty but he makes inappropriate comments like Bruce Campbell?

Sometimes I'd like to see that too. :)
Then I come back to my senses and remember that NO one is ready for THAT level of,... whatever I am! ;P

True in a sense.
And if he is having inspirational blockage, the easiest solution is to start with an existing character and then tailor it to suit his desires. It doesn't even have to resemble the original. In the end the prebuilt character serves as an idea bomb to free up the imagination and get his creativity flowing again.

Wait, did someone say BOMB?!?!
:)
<rushes to google the Alchemist class, then Investigator>
Maybe,... a Jeckll/Hyde/Holmes/Moriarty ?!?!?!
Depending upon which side is (currently) in control, he may be all about the mayhem, OR may try to stop the PC from doing whatever they were sent to do!
<_< >_> <Evil grin>

Nope, didn't mean to convey that at all. The idea of being the keeper of a bunch of nasty, powerful criminals is rather disgusting, but she's fine with the duke. She quite approves of his sense of decency despite being in a high position, where so many are corrupted. She is personally a bit stiff and reserved, but not at all upset with the duke.
If I've been writing a bit short, it's to be sure Chandri doesn't take over the whole thing and we can get back to the nastay character introductions. ;)

Cool.

Nice Intro Chandi ;)
Sigh, OK, As I've noted in the treehouse, I am leaving town in another day. (Daughter is a guest of honor for the premiere of 'The Mars Generation' at Sundance this Friday, big deal for her, very excited)
So, I've actually come up with a few ideas, (YAY!) The problem as noted previously, just can't decide which one to play! ;P
And I'm WAY too slow at creating PC's to make a version of all my choices and then pick one! ;P
So, what do we still need?
I saw Assassin/Ninja, Wiz, Summoner, an Antipaladin/Tank, and either a Cleric or Druid as healer, yes? (Besides our handler) :)
-I'm still on board for being the 'Master Thief' guy, Won't be the best combat help (still backstabby) but with the skills to get in and out of anywhere.
-Caster(s) seems covered, I'm considering an Alchemist for additional utility and the Jeckll/Hyde combat approach. (And bombs! C'mon!) ;)
-A reverse-Robin Hood/Zorro type, Likely ranger or similar. If we still need another line fighter?
As much as I like all of them, I seem to be leading towards the Master Thief. So I'll likely wade through my new 'Legendary Rogues' book and try to build him tomorrow. :)

Ragadolf |

Oh yes, she is one of the Space Camp kids they focused on that week! :)
NETFLIX is actually flying us out so that she can attend! :)
Look for 'The Mars Generation' on Netflix in about 3+ months. (My daughter is the cute blond with the LONG blond hair) ;P
I am going for the amoral rogue. Charming,... I'll see what I can do. :)
Stab first always! (EDIT- He can wear a shirt that says so,...) ;P
FYI. I have been looking at the Rogue and the 'Legendary Rogue' book for a while now. WHY does it seem so complicated to me?!? O-o
(Maybe I'm over-complicating it? The Legendary book makes the Rogue abilities like trap sense and avoidance things that can be selected, like Investigator and Magus abilities)
I mean, I can wind my way through magic feats, spell selection and domain powers with out a hitch. WHY does this supposedly simple class seem suddenly so very complicated?!?
I suspect I am thinking too hard. (THAT'S something I never thought I'd be accused of!) ;P
