It looks like you've based the Streamlined Combat Options on The Elephant in the Room's No Feat Tax rules. One change that they suggested that you might have overlooked because it wasn't in the original draft is the feat Unarmed Combatant (from this page):

I adjusted my Constitution by five points and changed Improved Unarmed Strike to Unarmed Combatant. Not much of a change, really. :)

Mechanical and Equipment Whatsits are finally sorted out, just tinkering with backstory now. Considering the nature of how this campaign starts, however, I am ready to play and can fill in details as we go!


OK, new PCs will come in either when the existing team returns to the refugee camp at the chapel (they were there but weren't introduced and the existing PCs didn't notice them) or they will be in the next section of the asylum.

I'll have an IC post for the existing PCs in the administrator's office shortly.

I rebuilt on my Mythweavers sheet (also linked from my alias profile) but haven't fixed the actual alias text yet. For future reference, the Mythweavers sheet is generally more updated than my forum profile, so if there are conflicts between the two, the former is probably right.

Just throwing this out there, GM, but Xander also made the same Know checks as Miniel, and actually got a higher result. Fair to say he knows what she does?

That's fair. As far as you guys know, she's dead and is just a shell for a planar rift. But if the PCs are really serious about trying to figure out whether she's mentally alive or dead, there is the option. Up to you guys.

I was going to wait until the current party finished with the Administrator, but depending on how they decide to end this scene we might get new PCs earlier. Now would still be just a tad early, though, sorry.


So what's the move here? Kill her, leave her, try to mentally contact her, pick her pockets, poke her with a stick to see if she moves, what?

I'm gonna give it another day or two and then if there's no PC action with respect to Losandro by Friday we'll move on. The default is going to be that the PCs leave peacefully without approaching or making a further attempt to contact her.

I use Blogtrottr, and mine also stopped updating last week. I suspect it's a problem with Paizo's site. :(

Looks like Google considers the black circle a solid object so you can't click the individual icons through it. You'll need to click on the circle, move it, click on your icon, move it, then move the circle back.

Yeah, that's one of the problems with using Google Sheets.

Also, it'd probably be easier for you to roll initiative for us, considering that it looks like you're already rolling saves for us.

I usually let you guys roll but I needed to see if the guys and Reine could beat the monster's Stealth check and if Xander disbelieved the illusion to post. If you guys as a group would prefer that I do all the rolls, that's fine, but let me know.

On damage, I don't tell you the monsters' HP but I will post a general status description. Minor damage means the monster has taken less than 25% of its total HP in damage, Moderate damage is 26-50% damage, Major damage is 51-75% damage, and Massive damage is 76%-99% damage. I'll also post status effects so we can all keep track of them.

Karl, I'm cool with you rolling Init for the party, as I think that will actually prevent hanging the game waiting for individual init rolls.

The same applies for unknown (passive) Perception checks, and probably saving throws, too.

I prefer to roll my own skill checks, attacks and damage though.
