Desna is quite popular as the goddess of travel and dreams. Phasrama's rise in Osirion is due to the shift away from traditional Osirionani values and history after being conquered by the Padishah Empire of Kelesh around 1000 years ago or so, in which the Inner Sea gods replaced much of the older worship of the stock Osirionani pantheon. The arrival of the new pharaoh may return the older Osirionai pantheon back to prevalence in Osirion once more, but who knows?

I don't seen any reason why Jandar-Ki would add this information to this sand creature, but he would definitely share the history with the rest of the group outside of this encounter. @group - anything more that we want to try to learn here, do we want to try to befriend this thing (if possible), or at least bypass the space? Just curious, because I don't want to take any actions that endanger any of these choices...

Go ahead and move your tokens on the map. The spirit responds back to Fionnid and Varisia. "Interloper gods seem to number more by the day. In any case, I can tell you what beasts lair on these grounds. I DO!"
And with a flurry of sand, the creature turns into a hideous combination of a medusa and a chimera.

The sandman remains on its feet. Jandar misses with his scimitar even as the creature turns to face Varisia. Also, Varisia, roll a will save since the aura is up this turn and the creature moved next to you. You were out of the free action activation, but it moves with the creature.
We'll ignore the logical implications of attempting to trip a mound of sand for the sake of coolness and fantasy gaming.

Depending on where Fionnid charges, Jandar-Ki may or may not get a flank bonus with a 5' step...
While Fionnid attacks high, Jandar-Ki shifts his position and makes a fluid swing at the base of the creature.

I am bad at rules, is Handle Animal to get Chulainn in a flanking position with me, a standard action?
Yup. Fionnid is up. For future reference, to get Chulainn to attack or flank/etc it's a DC 10 Handle Animal check as a free action for any trick he knows, and DC 25 to push him to do any trick that he doesn't know, and that takes a move action since he's an animal companion.

Varisia shifts slightly in his sleep 'Give me the whip.' He stirs again and his arm jerks slightly. 'Give me the whip!' He says a little more clearly.

Fionnid swings his mighty club after he activates his bull animal focus, boosting his and Chulainn's strength by 2.(unless he wants to do something else)
Fionnid club: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Fionnid club damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Fionnid hits and the club solidly connects with the sandman's upper torso. It seems to reel from the blow. Chulainn bites!

Chulainn bites the sandman and goes for a trip

The sandman stands up, provoking two attacks of opportunity from Jandar and Fionnid. He will then swing at Fionnid.
slam: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
And he crits, rolling for confirmation
slam confirm: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
But he doesn't confirm the crit
slam damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
