Jandar-Ki grew up in the Westgate district of Absalom,
but spent most of his youth on the seedier streets of the Puddles district.
Westgate was too boring compared to the excitement, grit, and all too real
dangers the Puddles district offered.
While hanging out from the rooftops and observing the streets, local members
of the Green Drake gang caught Jandar-Ki's attention. Jandar-Ki was familiar
with their movements by now; he and his friends spent many afternoons stealthily
following them and other ruffians for sport. It started as dares to get as close
as possible which quickly escalated to a game of bragging rights of who could
harass them the most. This time, however, he observed them lift an odd trinket
from what appeared to be fairly well to do merchant. The game was on, and Jandar-Ki
followed them to their hideout and eventually recovered a golden staff head shaped
like a crane. The thrill over and no real interest in the item, Jandar-Ki returned
the item to the original and very grateful owner. Unfortunately, his actions weren't
completely unnoticed. Later that night, it's believed that the Green Drake gang
set fire to the homes in Westgate. Jandar-Ki's parents were consumed in the flames.
In the days that passed, agents of House Ordos sought him out. Coincidentally, the
owner of the golden staff head was a family member of Ordos and was seeking a way to
thank him in parallel; the news of the tragedy just made it easier. An offer to work
for House Ordos was made and from that day forth Jandra-Ki was a sponsored treasure hunter.

Steal Time* (Su): With this talent, a time thief can steal time from a target. The time thief spends a mote as an immediate
reaction after damaging a target with a melee attack. The target must make a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 the time thief’s
level + the time thief’s Charisma modifier) or be staggered for one round per two class levels of the time thief.
While one or more targets are staggered by the time thief’s use of this ability, she gains a +1 bonus to all attack,
damage, and skill rolls as she uses the stolen time to carefully plan each action she takes.
