How much damage has each of the skellies suffered?


At present, skeleton 3 (the one with an arrow in it) has taken 20 pts total. Skeleton 2 has taken 11 pts. Skeleton 1 is brand spanking new.


The two skeletons go for an attack, one on Zariya and the other on Zohreh. Apparently they don't like polearm wielding clerics...

Skeleton sword attack 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24-Zariya
Skeleton sword attack 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10=Zohreh

The skeleton on Zariya hits

Skeleton sword attack: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Zariya dealt 21 and Fionnid dealt 9 (reduced to 4), shouldn't it have taken 25?

Zariya swings her hammer again at the skeleton approaching her. "Ouch." She utters in pain as the sword strikes deep.

after looking back through the posts I think we might have skipped Skel 2 and Zohreh's turns. Unless I misread something and Zohreh already took her's?


Nope Skel 2 got tripped and doesn't go until after the rest of the group, and Zohreh used her sling. It's the second combat round with the nasty skeletons.


Getting tripped doesn't remove it's turn though. My AoO against it was assuming that it would try to stand up on its turn.

"Can't be much left to finish of the one I hit with my hammer. This'll hopefully do the trick and damage the others as well." Zariya pulls out an carved angelic figure hanging from her neck and holds it out. "By the holy light of Sarenrae I bid you to return to the graves from which you came, foul undead creatures!" A bright golden light flashes out from the princess, like that of the sun.

Channel energy DC 16 vs will for half: 1d6 ⇒ 4


It's all good. It moved up and missed anyway.


Is it atill standing after the channel? It has suffered 27 or 29 depending on if it makes its save. I imagine the status of the skellies will affect target selection.

Jandar will remember to pick up any weapon he dropped at the end of combat.

Seeing no choice but to rough it up skeletons, Jandar drops his sling and draws his club to bash the weakest looking skeleton.

In case skel -27 is still standing and in range.

Varisia keeps a careful watch on the skeleton he had previously tripped while attempting to stay out of reach of the undead next to him, his whip ready to lash out and bring down his target if it dares to rise again.

holding my action until the skeleton next to me falls. Is that the one that looks pretty beat up or is it the one next to Zariya?


Everyone would be at 11 init now due to delaying to benefit from roar earlier.

Fionn draws two more arrows, setting one to bowstring and loosing it at the standing skeleton, before following up with a second.

Chulainn charges towards the Skeleton too and begins to munch down happily.

Even though he probably doesn't trip the Skeleton, the dog is content with munching on the bone he just tore free.

Sorry Skel 3 was the one that got tripped. Fionnid's first arrow misses skeleton 2, but his second arrow does 1 pt more damage. Chulain misses with his bite and trip. Channeling saves

Varisia, seeing his target stand back up and being unable to bring it down without threat to himself, steps back from the foe adjacent to him into B7 and strikes out with his whip at the legs of his only available target.

Whip Trip: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25


Skeleton 3 falls as Varisia's whip deftly wraps around its legs and it falls. Zariya enlarges, pushing skeleton 2 and Jandar Kai back.

Was it even targeting Zariya? This is an awful position for enlarge person on her. She can no longer reach enemies and get -2 AC when she's at half health. Also, it takes round to cast, so it wouldn't go off until her next turn, meaning at least Zariya doesn't suffer the reduced AC for the skellies next turn.


Nenet stated she was touching Zariya with it.

I mean Zariya can make a will save to try to negate the spell.


The spell doesn't go off until Nenet's next turn anyway. Who are we waiting on now? Isn't it one of the skeletons, then Zohreh and then the rest of the skeletons?


I was waiting for Nenet, now it would be one skeleton, Zohreh, and then round 3.

The skeletons attempt to resist the channeling of beautiful roses that appear around their bodies.

Skeleton 2 resist: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
skeleton 3 resist: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

skeleton 1 us unable to resist the rosy harrowing of ugliness's doom, and falls to dust

skeleton 2 and skeleton 3 resist the channeling, and continue to fight on.

At least Zariya gets one more turn before Nenet as she goes first and due to having higher init modifier.
Zariya steps back and swings her hammer yet again. "Jardar-Ki, strike with me so we can crush it together."

Hunting Party, if it hits Jardar-Ki gets an AoO: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 damage: 1d12 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

"Don't try to make me bigger right now, it'll make it easier for them to hit me and I'm barely holding it together."

At 2 HP I will try to resist the enlarge person. Note that the range of enlarge person is close, not touch.

Varisia realizes he can't trip an enemy already laying down. He looks the bony foe over and spots the sword it's carrying.

Skeleton 3 is disarmed by a master flick of Varisia's whip. Somewhere a soul moans in agony (or is it ecstasy?)

Not going to take that free AoO Jardar-Ki? Also Acrobatics is only a move action so you still get an attack afterwards.

That skel went down, right?


You are right, for some reason I thought you could use the AoO against another enemy, but turns out that you can't. You can still attack the downed enemy and move all in one go though. Note that there are no one except Zariya carrying a weapon they can flank with atm and she is in a position she can't flank from.
