Odo:
Oderon manages to patch up the soldier's leg. But from the corner of his eye, he sees a swarm drone coming from the hole in the ship

Navasi:
These doors don't shut down in an emergency so you just have to press a button to open the door

Kesk and Quig:
With Quig giving instructions Kesk manages to connect Scout to the ship's weapon's system which is ready to fire
You can fire in the next round. You can keep the roll if you want

I don't want my body to be in front of the door, just in case he's ready to fire at me or something.
So I want to secure myself to the ground (even though I believe my room is without pressure) and push the button and draw my weapon.
Then I want to look (as covered/hidden as I can) into the room.

Navasi:
He seems to ignore you and gets inside the ship, closing its cockpit
The escape ship is about the size of a car, barely just a cockpit and an engine

"Boys, get the hell out of here" - Oderon nods at the soldiers - "Just follow your Captain. I will hold the rear" - he winks at them, drawing his doshko and again waiting for the probable charge from the drone - "Come get some, bug!"

Tactical Doshko readied attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Odo:
The guards gladly take the Oderon's advice and move to the exit just as the creature attacks. Before it connects though, it is promptly cut in half by a swift doshko.
As the vesk grins, he realizes his overconfidence as another sneakier drone attacks him from hiding! Luck was on his side though and the creature just scrapes his armour

Quig:

The ship's turret fires at the creature, hitting it squarely! But it doesn't die, it clings to the ship strongly and produces another of the drones. But this one, it doesn't send it to the hole in the ship, it remains outside

Kesk:

You speed up towards the planet and feel the shots getting closer and closer

Navasi:

The cyborg remains near the pod but raises his hands - I mean you no harm, I just want to get out of here. I don't even know why I'm being held!

If I cannot move and attack... Is there anything like a charge? I will use it if necessary.

Quig reporting. Turret shot made contact with alien cockroach but it's still standing and coughing up drones.

I fire another turret shot at the cockroach.

I don't know why you are being held but I can find out. There's a fight out there that you don't want to face in an escape pod!
Come back and after all this is over we sort everything out.
I do keep a ready action to fire if he tries to escape or attack me.

Odo:

Odo, the creature was attacking you so you don't have to move
Odo's weapon once again finishes off another drone and the situation calms down

Navasi:

The cyborg hesitates but from behind you shots are fired at him

What are you waiting for? FIRE!! - Captain Brymenor shouts

Navasi:

The shots miss though, and he closes the ship's door and starts the engines

Quig:

In the cockpit Scout fires at the carrier bug but it misses. Quig stands ready and when he sees a drone approaching he fires but misses too. The creature hisses in silence and approaches him but he barely noticed.
With eyes wide open he saw a light increasing as a burst of energy bigger that him came from the outer space. Time seemed to slow down as death came for him. But suddenly another flare of energy burst as the ships shields came to action and blocked the shot. The energy raised the hairs on his neck but was otherwise harmless
The creature is adjacent to you

Kesk:

The ship flies to the planet's atmosphere as the first shots hit it. The shields holds for now

DM, I have a question: can I pilot, take care of the shilds and fire? In the other fights Navasi pilot, Quig took care of the shileds and Odo fired... following the order of sapce combat. So just to be sure besides piloting can I take action to divert energy for the shields? or Fire?

talking to Odo/comms: I almost convinced him to come back, but trigger happy Captain Brymenor and her crew shot at him and he decided to jump ship and is now starting the engines.

Is there any way to prevent the escape pod to leave? like closing "the doors"?

The turret shoots again

Quig shoots the drone

Odo:

Odo collects his prize and moves to the exit with the rest of the guards

Kesk:

Kesk franticly dives to the planet’s atmosphere as more shots explode around the ship
Each person can only be in one role in a ship, so you can only pilot. All the shots miss. Going at this speed and with damaged motors, the ship will heat up like a comet once she reaches the outer atmosphere

Quig:

The turret continues to fire but misses its mark. Quig, on the other hand shoots straight and burns the creature. It remains active though and attacks back but misses!

Navasi:

As Navasi hesitates, Captain Brymenor tries to push past her and keeps firing but her shot are harmless to the ship's hull
It’s a small ship but the outer door are out of your reach. The doors can be open and closed from the cockpit but the manual override blocks access. The ship's engines flare into life, it will leave soon

It's not my intention to be in the way of the captain so I move to where the cyborg did the manual override.
On the way there I shoot the engines maybe they short circuit or something ...

Then I want to try to cancel the manual override (if he hasn't left yet)

Quig! get inside the ship man! - shouts Kesh through the coms as badly as this ship is once we enter the atmosphere of the planet things will get realy hot out there.

And Odo, get done with whatever you doing and start moving to the ship weapons! we are under heavy fire and I'm just dancing this wrekage of a ship like a virging fleeing a pervet in dark alley runts Kesh while he tries to keep his calm at the ship's piloting chair...

Assuming I heard Kesh talking about entering the atmosphere I want to see if I believe this ship will be able to sustain the heat or if it will burn in the entrance.


Campaign log

An explosion rocks the ship but it still stands

Odo:

Odo climbs down to the middle deck, there’s some commotion in one of the doors to the escape ships but all else appears calm

Kesk:

The ship is hit again and Kesk begins to see several warning lights flare up

Quig:

The turret continues to fire but misses its mark again. Quig, shoots the creature again but it doesn’t die and attacks him missing yet again!
The back of the ship is hit and the shields die out trying to stop it. They fail and pieces of the ship fly to outer space

Navasi:

Navasi moves inside the small hangar-like room shooting at the ship. His weapon doesn’t do much harm and as he reaches the outer door, the ship flies away. Captain Brymenor curses and fires at it again and again.
The ship's structure is still relatively intact so it should hold. The rooms open to the exterior might heat up a bit

This is getting dangerous, so Quig decides to risk it.
He does a half move away from the drone but instead of firing he uses his console to divert power and regenerate shields.
Engineering: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

(If half move prevents him from doing this, he moves 5' instead).

Scout on the other hand, keeps firing at the cockroach.
Turret shot: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

You guys staying or coming? I'm gonna close these doors.

My idea is to close these doors (I suppose there's also a button on this side to open then?)
Then start using the consoles to open my way to the cockpit.

You cant access the shield systems from where you are, you have to be in the cockpit. Also, if you do a move and an action, you draw an opportunity attack

While piloting the ship Kesh keeps runting on the coms to control his adrenaline...
Shields are going down! Quig do your stuff. Odo if you dont know where the weapons are then go help Quig. And do it fast! He's fighting a swarm bug and we need him to take care of shields. Are all castrovelians fighting bugs? Someone go to the ship weapons FFS! I want to give that pervert a kick in the nuts and gain time to escape the alley

Odo while we travel you studied the ship to know where things are (at least I think that we all did that, not sure if you did) and I would say that... the weapons would be one of the main things Odo would pay atention to :)

RNGod, before I replay to the intruder called Duncan, we (me, Navasi, the Captain, the soldiers) are in the area with the escape pods right? How many are there? And how many people fit in each?

There are four soldiers and the captain. There are 6 escape pods, each taking up to 4 people.
Depending on the size of the ship, some weapons can have its own controls. For smaller ships, they are in the cockpit

comms: Before we bail what you think if we blast that thing from our ship and I try to talk with the other ship. Nevertheless, we need to open a way until the cockpit, so I'm opening the doors there, but first I need to check on Julius.
Julius are you hearing us?

And that's what I do, if I don't hear Julius answering I go as fast as I can searching for him (making sure I close the needed doors so that he's not pulled into space).

Another thing. From the cockpit can I pinpoint Julius or other swarm things inside and on the ship?

Bail out uhm?... that's interesting - mumbles Kesh more to himself then to the coms, then as an afterthougth he looks at the consoles ahead of him and speaks to the coms: - Navasi I can open the doors for you.

Quig misses his shot but scout does not, hitting the huge bug yet again. Over his shoulder he begins to see the planet getting bigger and bigger

The ship structure looks solid enough. But the heat will be intense for any room with open access to the exterior

Big ass cockroach took 2 hits but still standing.
I'd like to go back in but I'm kinda busy with one of the smaller bugs.

The planet seems to be coming towards us pretty fast though. How long do I have Kesk?

"Aaaaaand we want to land this thing on the planet, and release the swarm vomiting thing there?" - Oderon is still doubtful, and it can be heard over the comms - "Maybe this ship and all the swarm grabbing hold onto it SHOULD be nuked from orbit? Odo and Navasi:

Odo remains near the escape pods while Navasi goes looking for Julius. As soon as the doors to the room’s area is opened, a sudden gust of wind comes out of it pushing Navasi back.
The soldiers try to hold themselves but a few fall down
Navasi, make a STR check

Quig:

Quig keeps retreating but there’s just too many thing to keep an eye for and he misses all the shots. He also botches the commands to Scout and breaks its connection to the ship
You have to talk to Kesk so that he makes Scout’s connections again

I like the way you think but... I'm not sure if we're not gonna be attaked by the Azlantis... I'm gonna tell them that the escape pods will have no swarm bugs but I think they just want to blast out things and the bugs are just an excuse.

Quig how's it going? Can you go flee there and go to the escape pods. I don't think Odo is moving to help you... I can leave the auto-pilot here or something and go there to help you

Kesk, I'm gonna need you to help hook Scout back on to the weapons system! Something threw him off...

Other than that I'm fighting one of those ant drones but I think my weapon's screwed, I'm retreating!

Full retreat towards the cockpit.

When I get there I make another stand and shoot the drone, so I don't draw him inside.
