Ok guys, let's see if we can do this.
You know a bit about the setting, it's a mix between our old cyberpunk campaign and shadowrun. I'll add background information when needed.

I have a few house rules in my mind but I'm too lazy to write them down so here's what you need to know:

- 250 points
- 50 points in disadvantages and 5 in quirks
- 3 sources of power:
- Magic: Most visible effects require some sort of focus (magic wand, juju bag, etc) and you need to gesture and speak. It doesn't interact well with cyberware so you'll gain some disadvantage if you mix the two
- Psionic: Only “internal” powers (no fireballs or laser eyes). As a more “undertood” power, it has a few technologic counters (and enhancers)
- Cyberware: For now I’ll treat it like another power. It has to be a bit within technologic limits and have the disadvantage (electrical). It’ll require maintenance but you can buy new stuff with money
- No “exaggerated stuff”. This is a bit subjective (a lot actually) but it’s to try to keep the theme and feel. So no flying, car lifting superman… at least for now. Slow levitation is fine, mind control, chameleon, stuff like that. Any doubts, just ask

Basically I think that’s it… GO!

It’s still early so the bar is calm. The bartender is slowly cleaning the counter, her red hair glowing with an eerie light reflecting the neon sign behind her. “Katapult” has a nice ring to it, you wonder how the place will be in a few hours.
But you’re here on business so you walk to her and ask for Kevlar. As soon as you say the name, you hear a loud voice:

Ah! One more has arrived, good!

A bulky orc comes to greet you. He has huge fangs but one of them is broken. The scar on his face and the obvious cybered left eye add to the idea that this guy has seen a few fights in his days.

I’m Kevlar and I think we have business to discuss. Come, you’re the last one

He takes you to a table in the back of the bar where you can have a private conversation. Already in the table are 3 more runners, they must be the rest of the team. You nod and sit with the ork.

So chummers, I heard that you’re new to the shadows and are looking to get a few dollars. It just so happens that I know people here in New York, people that might need your special skills and have money to spare. It seems a good combination, no?
Since you’re new to this, we’ll start with a milk run as easy as they come. It won’t make you millionaires but it will help you know each other. Do this well and maybe I’ll remain your fixer for a few more runs.
Some things go without saying but you don’t seem the smart type so I’ll say them anyway.
I’ll arrange a meeting between you and Mr. Johnson. You’ll go, get the details of the mission and get the f$&+ out.
Ask him the questions you want but he’ll probably only tell you want he wants, and that’s probably way less than you need to know. Figure the rest out, or you won’t live long in this business.
Do the job any way you prefer but don’t bring problems back to me or the Johnson. You want reputation in the shadows, not with the police, understand?
Live by the old shadowrun saying and you’ll be allright: “Watch your back, shoot straight, conserve ammo and never, ever, make a deal with a dragon"
So, this is the info. When you get there, tell them Kevlar sent you. You still have a few hours, use them to get to know each other.
Do this right and we’ll talk again. Otherwise… well, there are many more low-life bums like you looking for a few bucks

He gets up and walks away, leaving a pen drive on the table. Analyzing it you see that the meeting place is in two hours in Chin Tau Den, a kiosk in the middle of the Chinese district.

yep, here goes

ROLL!!: 1d100 ⇒ 27

So, can I roll?

so, i've made a few changes to my character, he's now an aasimar

Do I roll for those extra abbilities, choose some or what?

So as usual I have a LOT of ideias and I think I can have fun with most of them

So i'll wait to see what the other guys will do

I think we should try the standard group: melee, wizard, healer, rogue

This still gives enough variety, melee can be fighter, barbarian, magus, etc

It's really hard to start from scratch... again

I guess we'll hope (again) that this will last and we'll become stronger

I have two characters in mind right now, a dervish dancing bard and a summoner, but my mind can change really fast

checking in... again

Sign me in with a fallen angel, a deva or a shield archon (are they all large?)

He was tempted by a Marilith and fell from grace, punished and forced to live with the mortals he used to protect.
Now he tries to be good to get back in favor and go back home. What he doesn’t even realize is that he’ll never be that angel again, he’s resentful and angry getting darker every day.

It should be fun trying to be good but not quite get there
