Well yeah. We've seen that their weapons and armor are more advanced than ours, we could very well end up in a war.
I'd say we're already in it - right in the middle. Our lives are valuable until we get the staff, or prove we can't. Best result: we come out with one enemy and one ally (barring divine intervention).
Best result I'm right about that staff and we take control of both groups. But I doubt that.
Guys if we want to keep this going I need more than one post from a player every other day.
I'm going to be dropping out. I loved the idea, and I find no fault in it's execution, but, I just can't conecentrate on it. Please mark Arda as inactive Broman, and I hope the rest of you have fun.
Without the pace picking up in the near future I am going to end this campaign before it just slowly dies from lack of posts.

Would the game work with fewer, i.e one player? Also, would you open it up to recruitment again?

which side, if any are you giving the staff to when this re-incarnation is done? I realized I can't list available classes for re-recruitment until I know the answer to that question.
Also cavalier (possibly only the archetype that allows creatures other than horses) will probably be allowed next re-incarnation.
And start thinking about what ability your clan should gain at the next re-incarnation.
Since this isn't Shadowrun I'm happy to cut a deal with a dragon.
What sort of abilities are on the table? Could you give us a non-exhaustive list of examples?
