I don't know why, but I've turned him into quite the rebel. While he knows he can do no real harm to them, he apparently takes pride and joy in repaying them for each blow to his pride they dish out.

A few questions for you DM Frogfoot:

  • Are we still bound to the spot by our collars?
  • I'm finishing up the last touches to Beleste's equipment. I wanted to give him a locking gauntlet and some normal mundane gear like rope, waterskin, trail rations, and the like. However, I wanted to ask, with his ability to use large weapons, would you count the gauntlet as a large weapon or a medium weapon?


Your tiefling-thing was "oversized limbs," right? It follows that a gauntlet would have to be oversized to fit. They can be large.

Very, his equipment is finished. I wanted to make sure I got it done before we got any further since it should have been done long before now. He'll keep his locked gauntlet on his right hand, the hand he tends to weild his longsword with.

Passed over my sheet and found a few mistakes, like missing one trait and about half of equipment. Everything should now be fixed there.

Still need to fix a few things on the character sheet, but the long and the short of it was I got rid of the wands and the ioun stone and picked up a handy haversack.


Are you guys not able to see the minimap? I do regret that the grid lines that are visible when it's in Excel disappear when I upload it to my google drive...

Cool. There's one heck of a first hit.


I'm keeping a running hidden tally of actions the party does and the influence it has on the crowd's mood, to attempt to simulate a real bloodsport event. That opening strike of the games definitely won your party some fans.

Cool. I wanted to go with the flow so I figured I would put my roll of 19 towards getting us some more favor with the fans.

Oh, and I can see the minimap. However the lack of gridlines made it hard to tell how far away they were from us.


I know. I'm still working on a convenient solution for battlemaps that I can do at work.

I just presumed that, since the only Aasimar that rolled higher than Undvach isn't the one he's engaged with, that I'd get another action before #1 did anyhow.

I just went ahead and posted my action since it didn't involve me doing exciting things near the enemy and I had a few minutes while some code was compiling at work. I've also finished updating my profile (for the most part) and I made 1-2 flavor changes to skills and corrected my gear. As far as spells in my book, I spent 520 gp on misc. spells (10 level 1 and 8 level 2).

I'm just trying to figure out what he wants. I'm cool with posting our actions early as it helps out if someone doesn't have time to keep checking in throughout the day.

However, it could cause conflicts if enemies start falling or moving away for some of us. I've refrained from making posting my action as it very well could depend on the one enemy that goes before me in the initiative order.

Definitely post your actions early if you feel the situation calls for it. I'll let you know if the combat scenario changes before your turn comes around. Try not to go too crazy posting 3 turns in a row though, breaks the flow of combat.

Yeah, in regard to the 1-2-19-20 thing, I've decided to take it more in the direction of flavor rather than hard-and-fast mechanical benefit rules. Just add a little flair to your description of your action whenever you roll that high since it's a great strike, and suggest mechanical benefits if it makes sense to do so for the situation - like when Undvach knocked the aasimar 1 prone. It made sense for that to happen since he crit a charge with a greatclub - that'd knock anyone on their ass!

Wow, talk about a blitzkrieg rush on our part...

...though I did forget to power attack that time. That's alright though. Sometimes you need a bit more accuracy to continue to press the offensive.

Well considering my Skeleton just rolled two two's I'm going to... hmm... I'll add 'Aren watches as the skeleton, who had been imprisoned for nearly a month without any freedom, begins to lose itself in its attempts to rend the druid apart.'

I'd suggest since both were two's rather then nat 1's, then for the next two attacks from anything but the druid get a slight bonus to hit because Seres ain't paying attention to anything else. How does that work?

GM Frogfoot, a 20 misses Beleste's 22 AC. He has his shield currently and is not raging so his 24 AC only dropped to 22 after the charge.

If you don't mind, I'll play it off as not getting through his thick skin. Armor of the Pit for the win.

Yep, that's my mistake. You don't actually take damage, you wall of beef you.

Ouch! I was about to complain that my AC was 21, but then I remembered that I charged. :-p I'm traveling until, so I won't be able to post timely for combat. However, I'm very happy being DMPCed. The Ravener, injured with be in hyena mode. Looking for weakened people take out. But I think he will spend the next round searching the fallen Aasimar's body for healing potions and the like. That crit was rough!
