Talvek creeps forward towards the bridge, trying to assess its structural integrity from a distance.
Talvek is still invisible, stealthing and moving half speed.

Sidius Consano |

Sidius moves forward, trying to pinpoint the source of the voice enough that he can hurl a spell or hex, then shrugs and casts a spell, causing a flash of sparkling, twinkling powder to fall. That should outline the ambushers...
Casting to center on the voice, figuring the 10' radius should work -- and it's medium range so the spell reaches. The -40 to stealth should be useful. And, of course, Will DC 17 or blinded.

GM Aarvid |

Sidius. Mark the target square/intersection for 5’ burst. Also roll CL check
Talvek creeps up while Sidius casts…

GM Aarvid |

@Sidius - Area 5-ft.-radius burst - place where you will. I am not sure you even know where Talvek is unless communicated or make perception…that hold true for all those sneaking :)

Sidius Consano |

Glitterdust is 10' radius -- and done, based on where you said I heard the voice

GM Aarvid |

ok, so glitterdust. I was thinking ice slick…sorry.
Sidius calls forth a burst of glittering motes on the far end of the bridge. No shapes are illuminated as the suspense builds.

GM Aarvid |

Kenji and party can go…

(21) Kenji(), Arcos(),Lubella(), Talvek(),
Sidius(), Aeria()
(7) Elf()

Lubella Heathertoes |

Lubella took out the sea shell and moved up towards the bridge, presenting the shell, "My name is Kyda; your guards gave us this token to show to you. We are friend of Aara; we rescued her and her companions from a prison in Kintargo. We've come here to meet with your leaders."
Double move to the end of the bridge present the shell token.

GM Aarvid |

Kenji Haru' |

Kenji looks at the elf and smiles.
"Your colleagues said that we should come this was as we are here to talk to your leadership. Do you need any kind of preparation from our side so that we can continue?" he asks.
diplomacy: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (20) + 19 = 39

Talvek Drassed |

Sense motive: 1d20 + 12 + 1d6 ⇒ (17) + 12 + (5) = 34
Talvek takes a couple of steps forward to come up next to Lubella and whisper as softly as he can.
"Watch out. This feels off. Doesn't show recognition at anything you said."
He drinks his mutagen, just in case.

GM Aarvid |

will say take-10 not possible here…based on circumstances not being normal (with news Talvek shares)

Lubella Heathertoes |

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21 typical garbage roll :(
Lubella couldn't get a read on the elven sentry, so she heeded Talvek's warning and replied, "Nevertheless, we'd prefer to remain together. We all want to meet with your leaders."

Lubella Heathertoes |

Lubella cast a spell to improve her chances of spotting if something was amiss.
Casting Heroism on herself.
Then she moved towards the elf, looking for traps, while holding out the shell,

Sidius Consano |

Talvek just took his mutagen.... If he's on edge, we'd best be ready.. Sidius walks slowly forward, getting closer to the edge of the bridge and hoping he'd be able to throw a hex or a spell as needed.

GM Aarvid |

As Talvek drinks and Lubella casts her heroic spell, the face of the sea elf turns to a vile grimace.
This would trigger hostilities before Sidius's move...so he can change his action.
You are cheaters! You will die!
She steps forward and swings a pair of very un-elf-like clawed hands at Lubella.

Talvek did not attack anyone so the invisibility effect should still be up. Unless they have See Invisibility...

Sidius raises his hands to cast an attack spell, stopping himself, not wanting to hit one of his companions. Instead, he begins to cast a summoning spell.
His tiny companion, meanwhile, was far more skilled at avoiding allies, and fired a blast of air at the woman attacking Talvek.

Sidius starts casting
Kenji lands a solid blow with his greatsword followed by a blast of air on the suddenly visible hag. Talvek's blade bites deep, but not quite enough to drop her.
Lubella steps back and becomes duplicated...
Don't be shy, my pretty! I want to get a better look at YOU! the hag hisses.

GM Aarvid |

Do you heal her, bind her or carry either or both of them?
You are able to gather the loot, cross the bridge and disposition the hags as appropriate (knowing that carrying one or both for miles will not be easy without some conveyance or mount).

Lubella Heathertoes |

Lubella replied, "I don't know if we'll be able to get any useful information out of her. I was hoping we could carry her while she's unconscious, do we don't have to worry about her doing something unpleasant."
I was thinking about just carrying the one that's still alive, tied up just in case. I don't know if that's beyond our carrying capacity. Alternately, we could leave her here, tied up, and tell the village authorities where to find her.
