Sergio Isaurus |

This is the profile for Sergio Isaurus: Lubella's Cohort.
He is a Cleric of Sarenrae with the Hidden PreirstArchetype. He disguises his divine Spellcasting as Alchemy, and hsd bluff as a class skill from the Fast-Talker trait, gained through the Extra Trait feat. He also has the Fed -up Citizen Campaign trait, gained the same way. This makes it harder to detect his Aura of Good.
Note: I can't seem to edit the profile yet — not sure why.

GM Aarvid |

Within gameplay, I have set three plot hooks for this Book-3.
1) Sidius, basically, you have a chance to meet the NPC pre-gen witch and swap one spell with her familiar. The spell must be of a level you can learn. See Feiya
2) Your group has a chance to meet Kenji as a new member of the team.
3) Your group is recommended to establish a "Silver Council" or equivalent. The city populace have taken to calling your rebellion to be the new 'Silver Ravens', whether you choose to call yourselves that or something else.
Lubella, the cohort is fine...and I will leave you to introduce, and add to rebellion page (if Sergio is taking any roles or team leads).

Lubella Heathertoes |

I'm gathering ideas for Sergio's story, and trying to turn it into something cohesive. My basic idea is that he knows the Shellets, and was very concerned when their sons disappeared. He was in the crowd when Barzillai tried to present us with his "rewards", and caught his first glimpse of Lubella. I'm reading through some of the old posts at the moment, working on the religious aspects.

Kenji Haru' |

If you want Sergio and Kenji to have some kind of connection as they are appearing simultaneously then just tell me what I’ve got to change in the background or introduction to make it work.

I would be remiss if I did not mention, while this chapter will have combat, there will also be much diplomacy and social interaction with other factions in the city. The intent is to build a network to confront the Thrunes and their leadership of Kintargo.

Talvek Drassed |

Looking forward to that! I've been running a War for the Crown game and I love the intrigue and social gameplay.

Both involve sing and dancing, so right up Lubella's alley!

Does anyone remember how to get a profile to display in Gameplay/Discussion? I've formatted my cohort's profile like Lubella's, but it isn't displayed. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Sidius Consano |

Okay, great. I'll trade my ennervation for her ice storm.

If I'm not mistaken the stat line has to be in the Race section, rather than the full name section.
The Argent Roost or maybe the Argent Flock could be a cool name for the leadership group/the party.

GM Aarvid |

Okay, great. I'll trade my ennervation for her ice storm.
Sounds good. I will reference in gameplay, but assume this happens for your upgrade.

Talvek Drassed |

Finally got around to levelling Talvek, but I'm stumped at the choice of feat. Suggestions?

Kenji Haru' |

You got iron will fro free so you could work towards a familiar?
FAMILIAR BOND: Prerequisite(s): Iron Will. Benefit(s): You gain a familiar, as the wizard arcane bond class feature. You do not gain the special ability the familiar normally grants its master, and the familiar does not gain the deliver touch spells, scry on familiar, share spells, speak with animals of its kind, or spell resistance special abilities. Otherwise, your total Hit Dice are used as your wizard level for determining the familiar’s abilities.
IMPROVED FAMILIAR BOND: Prerequisites(s): Familiar Bond, Iron Will. Benefit(s): Your familiar gains all the normal abilities available to a familiar of a wizard with a level equal to your total Hit Dice. You also gain the special ability normally gained by a master of your type of familiar.

OR
Extra Investigator Talent:
Extend potion: A number of times per day equal to his Intelligence modifier, the alchemist can cause any potion he drinks that does not have an instantaneous duration to function at twice its normal duration. This does not apply to extracts.

Lubella Heathertoes |

Extras Alchemist Discovery: Infusion would allow you to hand out extracts what can affect other people (Eg. Barkskin, Shield, Fly, Touch of the Sea, Alter Self, Cure Light Wounds).
I'll point out that Vendalfek is available as an Improve Familiar (Would require both Familiar Bond and Improved Familiar Bond).

Talvek Drassed |

I like the Infusion idea! You get a Disguise Self, and you get a Disguise Self, and you get...
A familiar doesn't feel like Talvek's style, but thanks for the suggestion!

Kenji Haru' |

Infusion is a great choice. :-)

Lubella Heathertoes |

Silver Ravens Names: Original post with list of names
The first Silver Ravens were Jackdaw, Amyreid, Kyda, Ba, and Brakisi.
Ba was the codename of Former pary member Fhingle Nib.
Lubella has adobted the codename of Kyda, and Sidius has adopted the codename Brakisi. Arcos is going by Blue (short for Blue Warlock, his Vigilante identity).
Former party member Aldren Halfblood adopted the codename of Finch (not an original Silver Ravens member).

Kenji Haru' |

Okay!! I’ll go with “Scarab”. :-)

Sidius Consano |

A little late, but I will say that Heighten Potion can be pretty snazzy when combined with the formula Alchemical Allocation. Basically, any potion you buy once can be "cast" at your full level in exchange for a L2 extract. *Any* potion. Including stuff not on your spell list.

GM Aarvid |

Sorry about the photos for the different characters. Too many to create aliases on Paizo for all the NPC's

Lubella Heathertoes |

Kenji, you will be issued a Silver Raven Figurine of Wonderous Power (Silver Raven): (we have a total of six.)

GM Aarvid |

You can assume if any prior pc’s had a figure that they returned them once they went on LOA. :)
Aldren, Fhingle etc

Lubella Heathertoes |

Talvek, were you planning on going though the loot sheet and selling the extra stuff?
It might be an idea to hang on to the magic glaive, if we think selling that would draw too much attention. And we should keep the Vest of Escape, potions and scroll.

Lubella Heathertoes |

Sidius has both Heal and Raise Dead on his sell list, so he should carry those scrolls.
@GM:Are they the right type (arcane/divine) for Sidius to use?

Kenji Haru' |

Kenji can also cast these scrolls but they’re much better on Sidius as Kenji at the front normally.

Lubella Heathertoes |

Suggested Rebellion Actions
Rebellion Actions (rank 9):3+1(Strategist)=4
Strategist Action: Recruit Supporters
Other Actions:
Earn Money (Merchants)
Gather Information (Performers)
Change Officer Role: Sergio-> Recruiter
[EDIT]If we can, I'd like to have Kenji manage Octavio's team, and have Lubella manage the Performers.

GM Aarvid |

Ok, will assume those are good for this week (16th I believe). I will next post the gathering of the Silver Council later tonight.

Sidius Consano |

Raise Dead, yes. Heal, no, sadly.

Sidius Consano |

Sorry, I wasn't expecting the level bump. My mistake. I'll hold on to the scroll for now, and if we don't need it before level 13, I'll feed it to my familiar. I'd rather not do that for Raise Dead because of the material component.

Lubella Heathertoes |

The earlier Holding House mission makes me wonder how much the AP writers even considered the issue of small-size PCs. As far as I know, all the spells that can change your size have short duration (1 minute/lvl).

Kenji Haru' |

Hmm ... I do not think that this is much of an issue.
There are also Halflings and Gnomes in Cheliax with positions of power. They are just rare but its not impossible to be small sized and join a masquerade.

GM Aarvid |

Did the party have any contact with the Cloven Hoof Society prior to my taking over?
Searching, I did not find any prior posts if you had met them yet (or I am totally missing it). I want to make sure I am in the right context with prior conversations, if any.

Lubella Heathertoes |

Not directly. They may know something about us from when we ended the Tooth Faery murders.

GM Aarvid |

So just to help nudge things along...the scenario expects you to seek the help of the sea elves next.
The ball will be a few weeks (TBD) from now. The visit to Vyre and Gap are also options, but would be much more difficult taken out of order. :)

Lubella Heathertoes |

What's the timeframe/deadline for claiming the tickets for the ball?

Lubella Heathertoes |

Hmm. So we have to get an additional invitation in the next week. It seems like we can't afford to travel to Acisazi right now, and obtain a second invitation.

Talvek Drassed |

We could assign the mission to secure another invitation to one of the teams, and that should free us up.

Kenji Haru' |

We could assign the mission to secure another invitation to one of the teams, and that should free us up.
Great idea!

Sidius Consano |

Makes sense

Lubella Heathertoes |

Sidius suggests, "Given the cost of a quality mount and the... rather temporary nature of our need... maybe we're better off acquiring a wand of Mount or similar?"
A wand of Mount would cost 750gp for 100 hours duration (2 hours/charge). So we would need 5 charges/2 hours of travel, or 20 charges/8 hour day. A single wand might not be enough for the trip.
It seems to me that paying a total of 20/person for a boat captain to take us there and back would be cheaper (100 gp total).

Talvek Drassed |

A heads up that I'll be travelling from October 24th until November 10th, so my posting rate will decrease.

Sidius Consano |

Oh, if we're going by sea, absolutely.
The suggestion was in response to the idea of buying horses and travelling overland - as I was thinking a wand might be easier to justify than a group of riding horses, given the current environment. And, also, no need to worry about storing them, etc.
