Arcos could swim closer and look for an opportunity to get into melee. He can always fire off a Magic Missile while he's waiting for an opening.

I'm pretty sure that the 1st octopus is dead (a standard octopus has 13 hp).

Sorry for the delay. I am still in Florida taking care of my mother and work was especially busy this week. Planning to fly home Saturday but snowstorm expected there and my sister was going to drive me to the airport tested positive for covid. I may be here another week.

On a happy note you slay the advanced globster...sorry for the slog. The half damage underwater prolongs these combats by 2-3x

Definitely recommend investigating the prior ring room further:)

If the ring room is key to draining the water in the caverns, we would have to figure out how to activate it without fighting the constructs first (we likely can't do enough damage to them underwater to get past the fast healing). It's possible that we have to learn something from Lorelu the ghost (by playing her dice game) in order to drain the water.

The spellcraft is best done while observing the pump in person. I’d say the notes grant +4 circumstances to the check since it is steep (not something written in the mod)

Guidance heroism and other buffs may be prudent
You at least get the impression the loose ring needs to be replaced to match its fellows

Only Lubella saw the equipment up close so that is another challenge

Just to keep things moving, and speed up the underwater part, I am going to throw you all a bone. :)

This was a struggle for us to puzzle thru on my play of it as well. The DC's are a challenge at this level.

If we can access the machinery room without the constructs interfering, we should be able to pass the check by trying again every day. Buffed with Heroism, I think Sidius would have +16 Spellcraft, while Arcos would have +11.

It looks like we only did two rebellion activities. At level 6 we get a total of three (2+1 strategist), while at level 7 we get 3+1. So In addition to recruiting supporters, we could Reduce Danger, or perhaps there is an action that we could take to help with the pumping system repairs?

Yes…I kinda assumed the one team did some research to get you Hetamon but yes, recruit or raise funds. A team could chase down parts. Unfortunately one team is going to be disabled in week 11 due to an attack…

How to deal with Zenger: get him alone at the HQ, cast Zone of Truth, ask him what his deal is. Is he planning to sell us out? If yes, why? If yes, we have to kill him.

Just a note that some may be having problems logging into their Paizo accounts. I can log in using an Incognito window, but not a normal window. I've tried deleting my Paizo cookies, but it hasn't helped.

Perhaps we need to manufacture an "important mission" for Zenger: something that will take him away from the Lucky Bones for a while. If we can keep him busy, perhaps that will neutralize the danger.

Problem is, he's more concerned about 'being important' than loyal to a side - so the concern I'd have is that he's away, he'll start bragging/making noise to show how important he is -- and spill the beans or get captured as a result.

I thought setting him up on a mission of his own choosing might work, but then, I'd worry about sending him alone, and we don't want others to get killed because of him.

If it were next level, I'd say one of us could geas him - but it's not.

With regards to water levels, the repaired pumps have lowered the water sufficiently in the worked stone areas that were used by the smugglers. However the larger caves still have waist deep or deeper water as their floors are below the dock level in room D8.

So damp floors in D1, D5, D6, D7

Waist deep in D8, D10, D11, D12

10' deep in areas off to the west and east (unexplored)

So the elves would not have to go to bath tubs necessarily.

With the expiry of Cat's Grace and Mirror Image, Lubella's defenses aren't that great. And a hit on her is virtually an auto-grapple. She has to decide between attacking and trying to escape, and can't use Battle Dance when grappled, so her offense will be minimal.

Lubella's in serious danger of dying here, I'm afraid. She'll likely be unconscious and drowning in 3 rounds. Fighting a grapple monster by yourself is a death sentence. :(

Do you not have a rank in swim? It's a Swashbuckler class skill. Touch of the Sea is also on the Alchemist extract list, and gives you a swim speed.

Water in this dock chamber was almost to ceiling 10’ deep towards. 15’ ceiling but is now about 5’ deep. Does not appear to be draining anymore

The funny part is I play CDG so rarely I had to look it up yesterday when our GM had said the monster wAs still standing after my dwarf barbarian hit a held outsider.
But I checked the rule and said ‘it may have survived the damage but the DC131 fort save is going to be tough to make.’ I think that was my first ever as a player in all my years playing.
