Any other suggestions about the location of the next Silver Council meeting?
I'm leaning towards the Tooth and Nail, given the lack of any other desirable location. I'm nervous about holding it at the Lucky Bones, and potentially giving the enemy clues to the location of our base.

Ok, based on the limit, that's a level 1 wand... unless I can get a partially-depleted level 2 wand (1200 gp would be 13 charges?)

I'm actually thinking 13 (and a third) charges of see invisible is probably the best bet -- it avoids rushing headlong into the issue of the non-scaling of wands (in terms of DCs, punch, duration, etc.)

I am good with partial charged wands up to 2nd level spells. Not sure how much a wand with 1 charge of meteor swarm would be. But that is outside the limits of Kintargo to offer.

Somehow this thread didn't show me any updates, so I missed a good chunk of discussion.

If he gets the +2 mithral chainmail, Talvek can use his armor/wand gift to get a wand for someone else.

Also, and I did not have time to check, but there have been various potions found in the last adventure which I am not sure if those were accounted for on the loot sheet.

I assume that for Vyre social encounters, it's OK to wear light armor under your clothes.

Note that Lubella is willing to let others use her Wand of Mage Armor if they are concerned about their armor protection. She's really not using it
anymore, in any case.

Lubella is mentioning the Ustalavic novels and exquisite banquet utensils simply because those were mentioned in the highest DC of the Gather Information checks, so I'm presuming will be less likely for the Queen of Delights to receive those as a gift.

Lubella has a trait that allows her to deal non-lethal damage with her scimitar without suffering the usual -4 penalty to hit, so that's why I'm trying to figure out whether it would be considered a "small blade", and thus an acceptable thing to carry. Her scimitar is a small sized weapon in game terms simply because she is a small character. I think we do want to avoid dealing lethal damage in Vyre unless absolutely necessary (“I May Wound Yet Shall Not Kill”). I'm not convinced that there will actually be combat involved at the Queen's Banquet (it may well be a purely non-combat encounter).

Final notes before banquet. Weapons are allowed. Armor heavily frowned upon. One gift for the party is fine. Just need to know who presents it and what it is.

I added a table to the maps page and will need to know general outfit, weapons visible, buffs/spells and diplomacy/bluff. Again this will be mostly diplomatic in nature.

I think either Lubella or Talvek should present the gift. Talvek can get +10 to Perception and Sense Motive against the Queen of Delights, as well as +5 to Diplomacy (via Focused Scrutiny). That gives him a +21 bonus to diplomacy before any other buffs like Heroism.

Looks like we have to figure out who will try to figure out how to eat each course, and who will watch.

Lubella has +5 Knowledge Local and +5 Knowledge Geography

Talvek seems to be the best person to try to figure out the method, with +15 Knowledge (local) and +8 Knowledge (geography). He can add inspiration, although he'll run out of that.

Kenji has +11 Knowledge (local) and +8 Knowledge (geography)

Arcos has +10 Knowledge (local)

We have Good Hope on everyone at the start, but it only lasts 14 minutes total from the start of the introductions.

Lubella has 3 castings of Heroism left (70 minutes duration), and 2 Good Hope (14 minutes when extended), although I can't see how she can cast a spell without being noticed.

We also have Message (duration 70 minute), but only Lubella can whisper messages to everyone.

Figure each course is 30 mins. Initial buffs will not last past first course unless lasts 40+ mins like messaging

Without a feat, Spell casting cannot be hidden while at the table. You’d have to create diversion or find someplace outside of ballroom.

Inspiration can be used on saves, at the cost of 2 uses of inspiration.
Talvek has Expanded Inspiration and Underworld Inspiration, which give him free uses for almost everything except physical skills. The basic Inspiration ability has free uses for any trained Knowledge check, Spellcraft or Linguistics.

After buying a new computer, Hero Lab is crashing when I try to load my old .por file. I've e-mailed Lone Wolf Development, but it will likely take several days to get a reply.

You can do either - whoever is presenting a gift, must make the primary roll - diplomacy, bluff or intimidate. The others can assist, if not presenting their own gift, and making their own roll.

You can apply standard HP and skill bonuses. Tally up gold and magic items. I will not adjust for any wealth per level excess or gaps until the end of this book.
