First off, I never said I was going to eat this finger... I simply broke it off and put it away. Though I am totally going to eat it, hehehe... Second, if the thought of me eating undead makes you worry, but the fact that I have already eaten countless eyeballs off of humans doesn't, then clearly the problem lies with you. As for your concern, Ternock nods at Seniko. good... evil... both make me stronger, so why be biased twards one?
Volk Tulmere
Volk sighed like an impatient child..
" Alright... we will rest... Mr. Gramlag and Mr Sabola will stay dead again. I-I hope we can fix it soon. Bodies.. start to smell after they have been slaughtered. "
Naranae Bellámue
Naranae nods in agreement, "shall we then?" Naranae finished making a mark on the wall with her chalk then spreads some flour on the ground at the intersection. As the others begin leaving Naranae will pour and spread it out so that it settles undisturbed. "Don't mind this, I just want to see if while we're gone anything is moving through these tunnels."
Volk Tulmere
Volk would watch intently finding the practice intriguing but when she finally finished he would move himself up. Looking down the ladder and dangling playfully. " Miss Naranae, that seems like a really good idea! You sure are smart. What if the thing can fly? "
Naranae Bellámue
"This is simply to rule out the fact it can walk or they rather, that is, if there is anything else down here besides us"
Naranae smiles brightly before climbing the ladder and following the others. Relief, even if only momentarily washed over her like a wave as they retreated the unknown cave. It is not somewhere she wanted to explore if everyone wasn't at their best. Be it intuition or not, this place felt like it held something dangerous.
"We have the resources,... might as well utilize them"
Volk Tulmere
Volk shrugged, " The Wizard Elias may send enemies, but I think whatever is down there is no worse than Wizard Elias... we wont be able to buy anything until he is either gone or something else. "
Volk clearly not satisfied with the decision but trying to see how it can be used. " I'm going to go talk with Mr. Bojask.. I want to get stronger.. instead of waiting. " Volk walked off to bother Bojask about drawing techniques and sword use.
Ternock
Ternock will go back with the group. Time is not on our side. I say we let the imp go. We've dealt with worse betrayals so the imps not a problem. We will just have him not allowed to spy on us. We get the scroll. He is happy, we are happy.
DM Tuyena
I think we can move onto morning yes?
With the morning the lamentations of the prior night return to Riddleport, as the group is awakened to the sound of carts churning along the street, carrying the deceased.
In the distance, the occasional whistle of the Gendarmes reaches your ears.

Volk Tulmere
Volk awakes groggily he had made the mistake of sleeping while in the dark as he got comfortable. The ensuing nightmare still shook him even now. The whistles of the Gendarmes... seemed foreboding.
" The Gendarmes are out and around. I hope they wont be hurting people. "
Ternock
Ternock will awake with a cat like stretch and scratch himself all over before munching on that delicious undead finger.
Dice roll in discussion DM
Naranae Bellámue
Naranae wakes up, yawning slightly before packing up her bedroll and placing it into her backpack. "Did we, or did we not want to find the imp?"
After getting an answer she begins preparing her spells for the day.
Naranae Bellámue
Naranae, after preparing her spells for the day, begins speaking as if the imp can hear her.
"Imp, show yourself and let us strike a deal. That scroll is something I myself would like very much, as I owe a dept.
She will then wait for response before continuing. going throughout the building if need be repeating.
Naranae Bellámue
"I owe sir Gramlag and Sabola along with the others. Like you owing services to this establishment. Should you help us find and gain the scroll imediately, without harming us by means you've had any push or hand in altering, I think we could agree on setting you free of this place.
Looking to the others, "I know how you all must feel about loosing two close friends, we are also short on time however"
Naranae continues walking in and out of rooms, grabbing odds and ends for stocking her backpack such as flour, salt if she can find any.
Am i able to tell what room the voice is coming from?
If Naranae is able to tell where about he is I will walk into another room still talking. "Does this sound like a deal Mr Imp?"
DM Tuyena
It's coming from the main hall, somewhere above you.
"Now I'm not so sure, you turned down my generous offer yesterday when I was willing to make an even trade. Now you come to me again asking for the same deal, I'd say that puts things in my favor. Make me an offer."

Naranae Bellámue
"yesturday it was not my place to make or accept the offer. However I will give you what gold is on my person. I've a few hundred and no use for it personally"
Thinking more on it, "what was it Saul offered you?"
Ternock
Ternock will listen for the voice as well and enter the main hall, directing his telepathy twards the ceiling.
DM Tuyena
"No promises on not bringing you any harm, too binding. I would offer my word that I would not work directly against you all nor offer information that would knowingly affect you."
"I don't need gold Tiefling, but appreciate the offer." says the Imp to Naranae.
"I don't want the heart, you give him to me." says the Imp to Ternock.

Naranae looks quizzically from Turnock towards the cieling. "I suppose this is the best we're going to get..." She says in general to the others.
"Turnock?... " Naranae gives a look of subtle confusion...
DM Tuyena
"I can't get it. I just know where it is."
"Come to Saul's office." The Imp says.
Once there you arrive he continues, "It's inside the wall there, behind Saul's desk."
"He hid it there so Bojask could revive him when Elias inevitably killed him, and paid Shorafa to have it cast for him."

Shade gives ternock a look. what is that tricksty lizard up to?
She shook herself. Not her problem for now. Another thing. Why was volk "kill the fiends", paranoid at large, dealing with an imp?. Or more correctly letting others deal with the imp.
Again she shrugged internally. More questions. She'll have to wait for answers.
She follows the others into the office, casting detect magic as she went.
Seniko
'it's a good compromise, not exactly what either side wanted, but both can live with it. We get the scrole and get rid of the imp and the imp gets freed from his contract'
Volk Tulmere
Volk beamed at that! " Shorafa is the amazing Miss Padomae's given name! So the scroll is in the wall? Easy! "
Volk reaches his hand out as space ripples and breaks a vortex of dark matter coming through. He pulls a long purplish Blade formed of whatever the viscous plane he pulled it from. He looked ready to cut the wall down.
Ternock
Well it's probably a false wall. The imp or me for that matter wouldn't be able to open it, hence why it was Bojask's task to retrieve it. If not and its a actual wall, a simple chisel and hammer would work nicely with no repercussions... Unless of course it was trapped... But I digress...
Ternock will smile almost as if thinking to himself about something funny. Myesss blood... Hehehe... Erg um... His eyes travel to the others as if embarrassed by the outburst, though seems to regain composer and smiles and remains quiet once again.
Volk Tulmere
dragons seem to have something resembling lips. Im pretty sure they can make facial expressions. You dont really need lips to smile
Volk blinked a few times. " Then Mr Bojask would get hurt trying to get the scroll. That doesnt make sense Miss Shade. Mr. Imp also promised not to hurt us.. They dont lie. "
Volk starts cutting the wall down.
