Seniko |

"Miss Naranae, could you bring a small bag of flour once you are finished"
Seniko follows Volk down into the chamber.
The samurai girl carefully peeks down the pit.
perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Ternock |

Hmmm, Welp I'll go check it out. If I'm not back in... screw it... you know the drill.
Ternock will fly carefully down into the pit, watching intently so he doesn't run into anything he wouldn't want to run into.
Taking 20 on Perception= 28

DM Tuyena |

Ternock sees much the same as Seniko does, which is to say a ladder that descends one hundred feet or so into a cavern.
Assuming Ternock flies to the bottom of the ladder.
At the bottom of the ladder Ternock can see that he is indeed inside a cave, he doesn't see anything of note however, other than a tunnel leading off into the distance.

Naranae Bellámue |

"Why do you want flour?" Naranae gives a quizzical look.
Once Ternock returns
"As much as it makes me curious and anxious to discover what was hidden away by Saul, it may be another trap laid out for us. That in mind, we should take supplies with us." She would then look to Bojask, "So Saul has never spoken of this to you or anyone as far as you know?"

Volk Tulmere |

" Supplies? What supplies? Would that not mean we have to go back out and possibly run into The Elias Wizard? He now is Overlord... Miss Padomae seemed fine but anything else might be an issue. Also, I find it hard for Saul to trap something when he is dead. Dead people don't traps this....wait.. not-dead do.. until you make them.. re-dead? "
Volk seems to get himself into a logical quandary.

Naranae Bellámue |

Naranae grabs some flour as asked, and any dried food products available to pack away and take with her returning to the party at the drop into the hole.
Naranae looks to Volk, smirking slightly at the hilarity in his last few words. "I'm talkin about supplies we can find here in the building... Like food and spelunking related tools. Not all of us are all that great at climbing and such. Nate said with a slight smirk, her cheeks flushing vaguely, a bit of guilt heard in her tone.
"I'm saying down here might 'be' the trap why else would he have locked it away the way he has?" naranae excalims with a matter of fact tone. "call it a gut feeling, but based on the knowledge we have of him and the lack of it as well I don't believe this is just here because it leads to some simple minded treasure room. My guess is it goes below sea level at the least as well,... That said, keep a good eye out for anything suspicious, it's not easy climbing out of a hole, let alone in the darkness." Narenae continues checking her backpack one last time taking inventory of the supplies she grabbed in the kitchen

Seniko |

Seniko gives Naranae a thankfull look " The imp reminded me of something, there is a good chance we have to deal with an invisible opponent sometime in the future, be it wizards, imps or other things. Throw the flour at where you belive the invisible opponent to be, that should outline him, atleast of a bit, and the flour on the ground makes foodsteps much more visible"

Volk Tulmere |

" Wow... Miss Naranae and Miss Seniko are pretty AND smart.. and Miss Seniko has toned thighs... err.. well.. for Fiendish abominations.. that is... " Volk seems to catch himself halfway between admiration, perversion and racial scorn.

Naranae Bellámue |

"oh? well I assumed that, but it doubles as useful for cooking as well,[/b[] Naranae Smiles, [b]"Though should another invisble foe come into play Id be more than happy to point them out for you as I will be able to prepare the corresponding spell to help in that case. Also I carry chalk for multiple reasons such as this, though I didnt have it crushed prior"
Naranae smiles at Volk, an obvious joy spread about her face at his comment. "Thank-you Volk, that is very kind of you,... When I next pray for my spells Ill be sure to take one that will aid us in finding foes whom seek to mask themselves in invisibilty"

Volk Tulmere |

The backeting
Volk kicks the ground as if trying to move a small pile of dirt and averts his eyes, " Think nothing of it Miss Naranae... So... Are we ready? I have weak arms so I likely will slide down not climb... That's why I can't be a father.. and now Mr. Gramlag is gone.. so we need to find that scroll! "

Seniko |

Seniko smiles at Volk's compliment, not bothered by the abominations bit, she has made peace with those, and Volk's was obviously not meant hurtfully.
"If you don't mind I would go down first, as I wear armor, just in case there is some kind of unfriendly surprise down there"

Volk Tulmere |

" I still have my um... power.. then I will go after Miss Seniko, a Man must protect women! I think.... If there is a bad fight I can help make sure we escape! "
Volk shakes his head and proceeds to move to the hole.
He stops momentarily. " Unless.. you want to rest Miss Nel.. though that would mean we give the Elias Wizard another day... He might send more Gendarmes.. or he might not care... I want to get Mr. Gramlag or Sabola back before it is too late. "

Volk Tulmere |

Volk cheers up, " Ah, Miss Nel smiled, I havent seen that in a long time. I must have done something good. Okay, Let's go Miss Seniko. " Volk awaits her lead down the pit.
" Since you go first there is no way I can see up your clothes... not that i would want to observe such a thing. "

Naranae Bellámue |

Volk, wait a second, I will be coming as well, at the very least I should be able to help with sensing items holding magical properties as well as I can send my familiar for help should we come across anything in need of" Naranae pulls open her backpack so her owl can climb out, "Wake up, Artmeis, I may have a job for you" Naranae would let him perch comfortably on her pointer finger and rub under his neck with another."This is Artemis,... glancing sideways towards the owl, "should you sense any danger or it becomes dangerous I'd like for you to come back here and alert the others Artemis"

Naranae Bellámue |

"we were just in a fight, of course id keep him hidden and on my person, he's important. As for food, I don't worry much over it, as he normally isnt in there. So long as he's safe is all I could ask for."
Looking to Volk, "perhaps I was wrong in thinking that we were only going down to investigate a little ways in the case it was a trap? If not then the more the merrier.
Naranae would approach Nel and in a hushed wisper to her, "If I were to waste a spell keeping him where I normally do, then I wouldn't be as much help in the time to come, generally when people see an owl with someone like us,... they kill it." Her words were hollow, as if she feared them becoming truth. "many users of magic utilize the help of familiars,... For me, we truly work together to help one another survive."

Volk Tulmere |

I think Darkvision works on water.. Im fairly certain.. otherwise Fish and other aquatic life would be blind
Volk looks at what Seniko does and when she seems to focus on the water.. he blasts deep into the pool.. just in case.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Volk Tulmere |

Volk looks and shrugs, " Nothing in there... "
He proceeds to move forward and Check around the corner though he couldnt see much.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Seniko |

"hmm, the water was muddy before Volk blasted it, that suggests that there is either a flow of water, which means a connection to somewhere else, or that something or someone moved through the water recently."
"Miss Naranae, do you posess any enhanced senses beside the ability to see without light?"

Volk Tulmere |

I'm Waiting on your telling me whether or not anything is down this tunnel ( I made a Perception.. how did you miss it?) and for Naranae or Anyone else to tell Volk something.. He cant see in the dark.

Volk Tulmere |

" Well.. Miss Seniko, the sound would be easily heard.. I have good eats.. it would be like.. breaking a wall.. or glass I suppose... and we would see it broken.. so there is that. "
Volk begins to close off the water. After he is done in about 2 minutes he looks to Seniko again.
" What now? "

Seniko |

"We follow the tunnel, unless someone has a good reason not to."
if no reasons are presented"
"I take the lead, Miss Seeker after me, followed by Volk and Miss Naranae"
"If we reach an intersection then Miss Seeker goes to the rear and Volk and Miss Naranae go in the middle, in case something comes out of the path we didn't take and attacks us"

Seniko |

sorry I forgot you :)
"Miss Nel, would you take the rear and look out for any creatures or dangers that we passed without noticing them. "
"Ternock, would you fly over us and look out for anything that we can't see from the ground and things above us."

Nel Shadow touched |

sorry I forgot you :)
"Miss Nel, would you take the rear and look out for any creatures or dangers that we passed without noticing them. "
"Ternock, would you fly over us and look out for anything that we can't see from the ground and things above us."
no problem, my character was miffed, not me. :)
Shade position at the rear of the party

Seniko |

"An intersection, lets take the left one. "
Seniko continues in a lecturing tone "if you are in a place where you risk getting lost, pick a side and always take intersections at that side, this way you won't get lost, at worse you will walk in a circle."

Volk Tulmere |

Volk seems to be watching Seniko intently, as if he mind wandered until he shook his head and nodded. " I always through right was right... but left is fine too. " Doing so as he walked behind
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Seniko |

"if you use your right hand to wield a weapon, then going left gives you a small advantage, as you can use the wall as a cover while still being able to strike with your weapon. "
perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Seniko |

"If you use both hands for a two-handed weapon you are at a disadvantage, fighting around corners or in close quarters in general. If you use both hands to fight with two weapons, then you can only use one effectively to attack, wether you fight around a left or a right corner. If you don't use your hands, then neither gives you an advantage or disadvantage."

Volk Tulmere |

" I would think if you can use both.. then you have the advantage Miss Seniko.. the same as no Hands.. because the enemy would have to deal with what you do not... Like me.. I think I need my hands.. but it comes from somewhere else..... Oh.. Miss Seniko I hear water.. is there water over there? Do I need to plug it as well? "
