This is the guard that Stanislav already killed with a charge, but somehow was ignored. Not gonna kill him again. :P

I had wondered about that too. Its one of the annoying things about PbP games is its hard to make corrections as not everyone is on at the key times.
I had assumed Stanislav had held his blow when the guard surrended, but if you would have killed him anyway I for one am quite happy to Retcon our conversation with him out of existence.

Stanislav has the following:
Guard uniform and cloak,
Chain Shirt,
Heavy Steel Shield,
Longsword,
MW Longsword,
LongbowX2,
60 arrows,
backpack, with water skin, food and cheap tapestry
Potion of Cure Light Wounds,
Club,
Glaive
He is carrying 82 lbs plus the food and the light tapestry. He will ditch the tapestry if he can get some blankets from the barracks. He can carry 100 lbs and still be lightly encumbered, so he can carry 18 more lbs.
Big OM
@ Stanislav, You can find some extra blankets in the barracks, where you slaughtered the guards.
I like where you are going with the dogs. I am not sure how to handle it though. You had a great check and I would like to reward that. Looking at handle animal it does look like you can change their behaviour towards you like diplomacy with humans, I believe it is a ranger and druid thing. I am thinking of calling it a push and you make the DC, allowing you to put a muzzle and leash on the dogs, but their behaviour won't be good yet. That will require more training. Your thoughts?
Nadine Laveau
Nadine is carrying very little.
Dagger
Light crossbow
Bolts
MW lute that we found
Someone has the Wardens spellbook, I believe. She would carry that but without some bag, its tough. Plus wont you gentlemen carry a lady's things?

I'm good with that. I have "handled" them, pushing them to do what I want. But they are a long way from loyal to me. Time and food may change that. Stanislav is trained in handling animals. Eventually maybe he can become the leader of their pack. But for now they are muzzled and leashed and willing to be taken for a "walk"

I am camping this weekend, leaving early this afternoon, and will be away from all computers and internet. I'll be back and able to post Sunday evening.

I'm good with pretty much everything, but my previous post is about as far as i'll go in game/on public forums.
As far as evil...subtle and horrible is pretty much Roberts stock in trade.
Stanislav Greymist
I would prefer not to get too graphic, and would object to detailed references to taboo subjects like children or animals or necro. Not sure how far this could go with an evil party. lol. Stanislav is evil, but his evil is in justifying the means to get to the ends he wants. He knows he has sold his soul but is in no way depraved.
Vank Stormfist
I did sign up for an evil campaign so I'm game. As for sexual content I'm fine with most things although rarely have seen places where anything plot important happens by describing in detail. I would prefer when it comes to rape that it is not gone into in detail something along the line of:
x raped y is alright
or after a violent struggle x raped y
edit: What Stanislav said.
Nadine Laveau
I agree with the general consensus here. If something is graphic and horrible, I think it can be alluded to without putting too much in your face. In general, I'm more ok with descriptions of general Evil than Sexual Depravity, I suppose.
Nadine is a messed up nutcase herself. Body parts, undead, etc will come up. Hopefully I do it right too.

I'm away on holiday from tomorrow to about the 7th of Jan. I probably will have occasional access to Internet until new year then none. Feel free to Game Master Vank to prevent delays

Thank you, Merry Christmas to you too.

In addition to this, the group also has some "loot" they have collected that might be sold to provide some additional funds.
Stanislav would ask for to following:
A fighter's kit -9 gp
A grooming kit - 1 gp
A Crowbar - 2 gp
Grappling hook - 1 gp
Manacles - 15 gp
2 Flasks of Acid - 10 gp
20 blunt arrows - 2 gp
An upgrade to his chain shirt through the spell Masterwork transformation - cost 150 gold
Nadine Laveau
Good, that MW lute can get sold.
Another question: We have the Warden's spellbook, however, that doesn't really do Nadine much good. She can 'feed' scrolls to her familiar. Is there any way for her to use the spellbook as scrolls (perhaps just tearing the pages out for her familiar) or must she pay to get someone to transcribe them into scrolls for her?
Stanislav Greymist
Stanislav decided that the best value to weight ratio was the long bows and is carrying a bundle of them. They only weigh 3 lbs each and can be sold at half price for 37.5 gp. I have listed on my sheet that he has 8 of them but would have all that we have found. With all his gear including the long bows he is well below heavy encumbrance and could easily carry another 10 bows and still be at medium encumbrance.
We also have the ogre to carry gear for us if we needed him. Let me know what you think is reasonable for guard gear that we carried out.
Stanislav Greymist
Agreed. Get a climbing kit, or healer's kit for the group if nothing else. And Stanislav does not do swarms, so everyone should carry alchemicals for this likely event.
Stanislav Greymist
Can we get a list of loot to sell, assuming we are going to split everything?
Stanislav has a bundle of bows to sell. Keeping one, he has 7 he can sell. He also has an extra long sword. This should bring 270 gold, selling everything for half.
Nadine Laveau
Swarms could definitely be a problem, but remember we're still 1st level (though 2nd is hopefully around the corner). An alchemist fire or two wouldn't hurt, but we don't have anyone with Burning Hands.
Perfectly fine, Thomas. I will suggest, however, that at least one person gets a rope.
Nadine's proposed list is as follows:
Masterwork Backpack: 50gp
Sunrod (3): 6gp
Bedroll: 1sp
Blanket: 5sp
Belt pouch: 1gp
Candle (5): 5cp
Chalk (5): 5cp
Flint and Steel: 1gp
Healer's Kit: 50gp
Ink: 8gp
Ink pen: 1sp
Parchment (10): 2gp
Scroll case: 1gp
Sewing Needle: 5sp
Rations (6): 3gp
Waterproof Bag: 5sp
Waterskin (2): 2gp
Courtier's Outfit: 30gp
Total: 155.8gp
Still waiting on word from GM about what we can do with the spellbook. If I need gold to learn some of those spells, things may really change.
Vank Stormfist
This is likely to be my last post for a week, please don't let me slow anything down. I hope we don't find swarms in this ap as I don't think they fit but happy to invest in alchemist fires.
Shopping list:
Upgrade chain shirt into breastplate 150gp (200-50 for sale)
Alchemist fire 20gp
Javelin 1gp
Backpack 2gp
Flint and steel 1 gp
Oil 1 pint 0.1 gp
Fishing hook and tackle o.2gp
Brand with Stormfist symbol on it 1gp?
The rest in a mix of fresh food and trial rations.

Spells: Orisons: create water, enhanced diplomacy, purify food & drink, spark
1st (5/day): burning handsC , cure light wounds, murderous command, shield of faith
Yes, yes we do have someone with burning hands.
I think I'll need to get some alchemist fire (for enhanced magical components), and some general adventuring gear, but little else. Maybe some new clothes and a backpack.

Stanislav's Fighter's kit has rope.
