The knight's sword and armor might be useful.
I thought that one of you claimed the sword and armour for further use. The pendant is valuable, but finding a buyer might be difficult. Do you have anything from escaping the prison?
I propose we have someone track loot from now on. Maybe rotate that job. I'll take it first, and go back and review what we have found so far. Might take me a day or two.

Did not take me as long as I thought. Since coming to the Cardinal we have obtained the following things. Note this does not count the 200 gp worth of equipment we each received from the Cardinal.
Each of us received silver holy symbol of Asmodeus and an iron circlet that acts as a hat of disguise. I believe this takes up the head slot.
And we have:
a dragon pendant of silver with blue sapphire colored glass eyes - 5gp
masterworked full plate that lists for 1650 gold and would sell for half that if we can find a buyer.
A dark blue cape of fine quality, a cloak of resistance +1
A longsword
dagger
heavy steel shield
silver chain holding an eight pointed blue sapphire star set in silver
That is it. I did not see the value for the real sapphire pendent. And I am not sure if the shield or any of the weapons are masterwork. Big OM can you fill us in on that?
It would be great if we could trade the masterwork plate for for some other useful equipment… ?
I would like the heavy steel shield, if no-one else is interested. Otherwise, I will hold onto my prison-guard chain mail & wooden shield, and just cover up the markings. Perhaps get the shield re-painted, if necessary.

The masterworked plate is your to sell if you don't want it. However if you choose to have the cardinal sell it, it will work as the rules say half price as I recall. The money won't be available for the foreseeable future. You can bring it along and hope to find a buyer.
The value of the real pendant requires a appraise roll.
Nothing is masterworked save the plate.
I vote for giving it all to the cardinal to sell and moving on with the story. We'll be able to steal clothes or use coin from the sailors to buy some later. We'll be cold but it isn't worth holding up the game over it.
The hold up is not due to this, ot is my failure to move it along that is keeping it up. I havent had the time to post a longer post which is required for the next segment.

It has been quite some time since Thomas posted last and I am begining to give consideration to finding another player to replace him. Another option is to continue with the four of you. What are your opinions?
I think the right 4 characters would be fine. But we lack the skills Thomas had in this group. I guess I could take a level of some class giving trap finding and take Disable Trap ranks. But I would prefer to pick up another player - giving them a chance to enjoy the AP.
I'm happy with either, as long as we don't stop while we wait for a new player. Probably better to collect them when we arrive to drop off the weapons.
I could be a little while before we reach the drop off, so I will hold searching for a new player just yet. Are there any other wishes save a skill focussed character? I my self are leaning towards a human with and elf or a dwarf somewhat behind that, I am not at the moment inclined to allow other races.
I do not have a strong racial preference. We are there humans and a hobgoblin. I like Vank as a character and he has made the race work surprisingly well, but once you let in a hobgoblin… :)
I am normally very conservative with races in my games, allowing a hobgoblin and a soon to be vampire is about as much as I would like.
As I said, it does not matter at all to me. Human is fine.
Sounds good to me. That will give Thomas a little longer to reappear and as for type of character I am never one for party balance, as long as they have an interesting concept and don't step on too many toes I'll be happy.
I'm with Vank. Give me a great character and I think we can cobble together a way to handle skills.
