She is still dizzy after New Year celebration, so she is trying to understand which side is ours. I never seen game lost or won purely by dice rolls. More often, game is lost by player willingness to retreat and strange tactical decisions taken.

Player willingness to retreat is different from Party willingness to retreat.
That said, this should not be one of those occasions.

Dropping them seems to be good idea to me. They do not attack, and they provoke AoO, when they stand up; they have -4 AC penalty, when they down to be hit and during AoO. Currently, my main problem is lack of weapon to hit them deadly enought. Even with successful sap hit with maximum damage, I will contribute 2 DMG due to damage reduction. Unless they hit me with AoO, doing trips is more combat effective.

@Kasia, to answer your question: if enemy does 5-ft step in threatened area, he provokes no AOO. This allows to do some tactical repositioning during combat, for example those movements Lormo is doing.

Do zombies know how to 5ft step? -erm shuffle?
They do. Its the only way, besides charging, for them to move and attack in the same turn.

That's is quite tricky to answer. I think, the question is "Are you willing to continue in same tempo?" And then my answer is "I want this game to be more active"

I think the slow down happen at the start of December when I was doing the final push for school and it hadn't quite recover since.

Sad news, Cloony, but I understand you... Sometimes, I feel myself intrigued to open book and read through, but I still able to hold. This story unwraps slowly, but I like that we are dedicated to staying in character and play.
Enjoy your game... might be you want to return someday, when you feel that you miss my weird elf or Baelir or nice ladies.

I will be extremely difficult and say how every you want to do it is fine with me.
Honestly, I like the idea of them being a rewrite of previous pcs. Having someone play another's pc is not quite as fun as using your own. Of course, it may seem a bit silly, but it would be a more smoother transition.
