It's been one of those days. Sigh. Just realized she couldn't have attacked this round having used a standard action to get up there. Which sucks, because if landing it had been a move action she would have rocked with those dice rolls. I guess she'll take a 5 foot step back on the wall, away from the guard if there is room. Still hollering down to Klo.

Minor Crab-beast

Skane gets a decent purchase on the axe he buried in the wall's surface... but the ice above that is far too smooth for him to scrabble up so lumbered with his raiment.

Annalisa's blade is wetted with the blood of the guard captain, slicing in between ribs on his left side and perforating his lung. But the man is made of stern fabric and yet fights on.

The assembled guardsmen in the courtyard reposition themselves to deliver a volley of crossbow fire at the beleaguered barbarian... vs AC 23 due to cover and in melee.

...a raking cut from thigh to stomach adding to her already prodigious wounds and stealing the light of consciousness from her. As she falls and her rage fades... so does the wall stain sanguine.

The two guardsmen to the south retreat from their spots upon the wall to the south.

Annalisa - when you drop out of rage, you lose the bonus HP as well. So you're actually at -9 / 28 HP; though luckily you manage to stabilise after taking the penalty to the Constitution check.

Klo hefts Katherson skywards and the arc carries him across the top of the wall... but his landing is ungainly...

Katherson manages to maintain his footing after being thrown atop the wall - landing straddling Annalisa's fallen body in an ungainly fashion.

The captain of the guard grimaces through severe pain and lashes out with his bloody sword...

...marking Katherson with a gouge along one forearm.

Rikka - your scrape goo for Round 16 is 2 damage. The action you posted above is your round 17 action... as in after the guard captain et al. Is the way I'm tracking the initiative confusing?

Katherson backs away from the guard captain and abuses his stick of boneknitting to salve his aching limbs. Rikka below continues to scrape away at the tangled goo that is coating her form.

The guard captain sees the wand and it's after effects and a realisation dawns. He barks at the man beside him "Strike the branch from his hands." to which the man attempts to comply...
Disarm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
...but cannot manage it.

The guardsmen in the courtyard complete loading of their handheld arbalests and put them back to shoulder, awaiting an opening to fire. The two on the Southern section of the wall continue to reposition themselves - disappearing into the bowels of the tower after traversing the curve of the wall.

With a grunt Skäne crashes down into the melee. The clash of steel and smell of blodd bring a dark grin to his face and he pushes himself upward (Stand Up - provoking AoO) and slams his shield into the nearest foe;

Right - I've kind of lost track a bit of exactly where we ended up and I think it'll be best for all concerned if we start on a fresh note rather than a recall... so:

Katherson's bludgeon catches the man heavily upon his hip, shattering bone and crumpling him in a heap. The bloodied guard captain is the next to fall, Skane's shield blasting away his blade before his sword snakes in to steal breath. The other guardsmen withdraw into the fastness of the tower, leaving you with a moments respite to draw heavy breath and count your own wounds.

The icy gate still stands between Klo and the interior, and a brief casting of eyes does not betray an easy means of seeing it opened. Annalisa's broken form upon the floor also presents an issue of pressing concern.

Perception DC 25:
You see the telltale flits and fragments of sprites in the air. They have not engaged, but are watching from a distance - around the curve of the tower and from high within the structure of the white dragon in the courtyard.

It is easy to ken that the guardsmen are drawing strength within the doors, while yours is static... who knows what time you have, what other beasts lie in wait within... and how much time you have to bring succour to your wounded.

Out of combat, but still tracking time in rough rounds behind the curtain.

As the sounds of combat begin to slow, the huge bear-man turns his blade on Rikka … carefully scraping the goo from her body. Damage to un-stick Rikka’s goo slashing damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 6) + 10 = 21

His ursine eyes meet hers for a second, giving her a nod before he turns his muzzle up at the wall. ”She’s coming up!”

Assuming she doesn’t have something else she wants to do, Kló lifts the final member of the team as high as he can. ”Grab her and pull her up!”

Once done, (and assuming nothing interrupts him) Kló brings his massive blade to bear against the ice wall. His thunderous strikes resound inside the keep.

I think we should focus on healing as much as possible while we have the time - which Kath is handling. If Klo needs help getting the gate down, I'll help with that since he's already got me thoroughly de-glued. If the gate comes down before Rikka can get involved, I'll focus on keeping an eye on the doorway.

Rikka puts away one scroll and pulls out another, intoning the dark and unfamiliar words from the scroll... The body of the guard captain twitches and comes to un-life. She directs it down the stairs and puts it on guard duty.

If anyone wants his gear, great. But let's try to leave him with some armor. :)

Annalisa extends her hand out to Skane to see if he will help her to gain her footing on the icy wall. "Thank you,
Skäne Ingvârssonn, and it is good to place my feet so firmly back amongst the living, but I only keep what I have won rightfully and it was I who laid bleeding out by his blade; not the other way around. Though it brings me great joy to be offered such a token by one as yourself, I do believe the victory is rightly yours, my friend."
