I saw on another thread that you're planning to run the Quests pretty much on launch day, I'd love to hear whatever rules feedback or thoughts you get from that. The weekend these PBP games start I'll also be running my first game on Roll20 with some other GMs.

Yes, I use Pangea as a handle/name pretty much everywhere (like on Roll20). Used my real name here on Paizo since I help organize things for PFS in Paris, France.

It won't be perfect at all re. the rules, but since the game will be brand new I am sure people will be okay with it (and we know enough already to know some rules: no 5ft step, all can attack 2 times at -4 in full action etc.).
My feeling is that since a lot are excited about the game, let's at least start offering games as of the release (and can get better at the rules for the next session!).
I did not think about it, but I will see about typing up a mini report I can post or PM to people, re. what went well and wrong etc..
RP-wise, my plan (but we all know how plans go) is to only play Androids in SFS.
Basically playing the same "character" (the core IA of the android) that exists in the various editions that were made of it.
So, I'd be aiming to play Android-Mechanic(s) to start... the first of the series/family.
Very cool, makes sense to me. Nice to run into ya in a couple different places! I totally understand where you're coming from on running a game early, almost with a known set of "training wheels" on it. I would have tried to do something the weekend of release but some RL got in the way.
That's a cool concept tying all your characters together, even when you diverge from the "plan" the other alien races can still be associated with your android line arc. Like someone who worked in the manufacturing facilities for a time or is a minor heir to the owner of the android model patent.

Luuucky! Ten. More. Days. I sub'd to the AP line so I'm hoping that ships today and I have something to help me wait at least. But come on, we all know it'll make the wait even harder ;)
Signed up for your waitlist! Are there any online sources right now that can help me build my character or do I just have to wait for the CRB to finally come out? It seemed like tons of people already have their characters semi-developed and I wasn't sure if it was just from lore that has been shared/announced or if there was some sort of simple guide somewhere.
Welcome! There isn't a guide that I know of. A lot of people got their CRB pdfs early and are talking about what they're finding, but for most of us it's a waiting game.
