So which languages should those 4 be?

There is Praxian, Spheran, Kabarran, and you can pick a language out of Aliens Unlimited. The Haydonite language is beyond you.

The red bioroid turns to the newcomer, but keeps an eye out for enemies.

Duke approaches within fifty meters of the red mecha in gerwalk (guardian) mode, holding his empty hands out and all lights blazing.
He stops there and tries basic short range lasercom communications in every general frequency protocol he knows.

still awaiting language advice from the GM. It might be conceivable that I know english with my high INT but not sure

Elray jerks in his seat banking to avoid fire. "I don't know... compliment his shoes in the binary code, do a little dance... maybe use math... one plus one is greater than one."
Elray clucks his tongue thinking. "Yeah... I dunno."

depends if the Robotech Masters spoke English, they spoke Zentran. :)

"Hey Elray!" Hissed Duke over the squadron frequency as he started to sweat with the effort. "Got any other idears? He ain't reacting to English and my arm waiving is useless!"
