Just kill'm. He's kneeling before you, neck outstretched. His death will lead Tik back into his gem (as long as the gem is within range, which it is). If Tik released the body first, he'd start resisting again. As is, you should be able to coup de grace him.

As Lana heals him, Kalt turns to face the kneeling guardsman. He's unaccustomed to killing a helpless foe, especially one asking to be killed and giggling like their ratfolk companion, but he's had to get used to any number of things since first encountering summers snows in Heldren. With a muttered apology - though he's not sure to whom - he drives his blade into the man's chest, forcing himself to look the guardsman in the eye as he kills him. The strange light in the man's eye, presumably a product of Tik's spell, winks out, followed by the fading of a more natural light as the man's spirit leaves his body.

Pulling his sword free, he turns away from the crumpled form on the ground, grumbling crossly, "Let's fight something that can fight back!"

Knowledge(Engineering)/Profession(Siege Engineer) 15:

While the incoming tower is nigh impenetrable, the slope makes the tower unstable enough to where destroying it's rear wheels can cause it to topple over. However to do so, one would have to get inside the tower.

You have 5 rounds, so anything besides healing and Blessing of Fervor?

As the hydra-driven war tower approaches, you see many warriors and hear even more. If the war tower reaches you, there will be a nigh infinite hoard to deal with. Taking out the tower and/or the hydras driving it is in high priority.

"Any way we can take out the hydras before they get to the wall?" Kalt asks his hulking friend. "If they can't move the towers any closer, the triaxians won't be able to get in. Or we could destroy the towers. Either way, we should stop them getting closer."

Glancing at his companions, he says, "Anyone got a way to get us to the towers quick? Or destroy them from here? I don't really like the idea of all those soldiers making it over the wall."
