Sven tries to quip back at Kalt but can only manage a wince. Instead he presses a palm to the most grevious of his wounds and tries to mount a defense against the dangerous lovers.

Despite her innate toughness, the mighty Garona falls to Kalt's blade. Katar's eyes grow red with fury as he glares at Kalt.

Lana snaps out of her reverie and tilts her head ever so slightly at Kalt, gauging the distance between them and realizing she can never make it in time. With a slight shrug, she opens her spirit and releases a burst of essence toward her allies. Channel, selectively.

Channel: 5d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 5, 1) + 1 = 14 I believe Kalt also heals an extra 10hp from this.

Avora completes her spell, having burned her wall of ice to summon a grizzly bear! She directs it to attack Katar. The bear responds with a snarl and charges the warrior.

Lana heals the injured warrior while Avora summons a bear. Though ferocious, it fails to harm Katar. Shanya and Sven!!

Wow, that's some amazing loot.

Sven breathes easier once the second of the two commanders is slain. He wipes the blade of his axe clean with a bit of oilcloth while his more learned companions search the dead for signs of magic.

"Well done everyone. With those two dead it's going to be a great deal easier to bring down General Malesinder. Grab their weapons and let's get going."

Were we supposed to go immediately after the general or check in with Pharamol first?

You were given a scroll of sending so you can tell Pharamol so he can get his forces to distract the rest of the army so you can kill the general.

"Sven, I... I've all but exhausted my spells for the day. Is there any chance that we can rest?"

"We could all use a nice long break", the big man admits as he adjusts the heavy armor resting on his shoulders. "But we have to strike now. When word of the deaths of his bodyguards reaches him the general will close ranks with his men. Killing him will become difficult, maybe impossible."

Lana nods. "Perhaps as soon as he would have expected them back," she opines.

Let's assume we send the message and get this show on the road.

Shanya will use the sending scroll to get a message to the general...

"Targets eliminated. Awaiting further orders."

Shanya reads the scroll and sends the message. Ten minutes later you receive a response.

"Good work. We'll send in the troops and you'll swoop in to take out General Malesinder. Last chance for any preparations. Good luck."

Having no more preparations to do, the party moves in to destroy the enemy General. As you reach the camp you see the vast army rushing out of it to deal with Pharamol's forces. The path is clear to Malesinder's tent.

As you rush in, the General is surprised to see you and at the same time, not surprised. "So you seek to end this by killing me? I assume you took care of my elite guards so it's 5 cowards versus a lone warrior." General Malesinder is a large female silver dragon who stands tall, an icy blade in her hand, cold malice in her eyes. She scowls at your presence. "So have at it, let's finish this." She roars as she brings her golden bracers together.

Kalt and Sven are up!

Don't have permission to view the map, but I assume I need to move and then can attack. If I can move to set up a flank for Sven, I will

"Thank the gods, no long-winded speeches before you die," Kalt says as he moves closer, studying his foe during the approach. He cuts hard at the dragon, hoping to gain the upper hand quickly!

"This war has gone on long enough", Sven adds as he marches forward to join Kalt's attack. He quickly settles into a familiar stance that's defensive and still somehow dangerous.

Sven walks up and slashes into the general who roars in pain. She steps back and lets out a gout of pure cold from her maw. Everyone gets hit with the 30 foot cone.

As I said before I could edit the map, Kalt would move into a position at the side of the dragon to create a flank, so I've repositioned him slightly on the map. As a result, I think the dragon has to choose Sven or Kalt to be in the breath weapon cone. I'll roll my save in case I'm the lucky one!

Avora scores a hit with Feybiter while Sven also scores a single hit. Kalt is a flurry of blades scoring a pair of slashes, one being particularly brutal. Shanya studies her foe and drinks an extract. The she-dragon-kin roars in defiance! Lana!

At the start of Lana's turn, Sven, Shanya, and Avora heal 5 and Lana takes 15. HP 36/108.

Lana focuses on bolstering her inner life essence even as she strengthens the others'. Blessing of fervor, and CLW on self as a swift action.
