I hope you find something soon! I know I've been very silent this week. We had some things happen at work that demanded my attention ( and still sorta are). I'm hoping to get things cleared up again soon.
Actually, we've decided to advance our timeline on future plans, and just move to the east coast where her family is at, in the New Jersey area. But that won't happen for a few more months, about late March time frame.
Okay, so granted I asked for it only today I know. But I really do want to get this moving along faster than we have been. Granted we've moved a hell of a lot faster in the last few weeks than we have in the last few months for sure lol, I really do want to start gaining some traction here. Now I know that Triel and Vanya post fairly often, and I can get Arathorn to post when need be when she's home, but I do know that both Cian and Ithylia tend to get pretty busy with work. So with that being said, how are your guy's thoughts with me GMPC'ing your characters through combat?
It's fine with me, so long as you have her intelligently avoid melee :) She has no trouble blasting what needs blasting :)
But I thought it'd be fun sending squishies into combat lmao.
If it helps speed things up, I don't mind. :) Seeing as work likes to surprise me. (Like last Tuesday...)

Oh, question in reguards to Bardic Performance and Dancing. If Ithylia chooses to perform something akin to Gumboot or Stomp, would it be considered audible as well as visual?
I'd take those as both, but would put them under Bardic Performance the way that I see them. That's just me though. Also, if Cian doesn't post by the end of the day, I'll roll for him and get things going.
I noticed that Arathorn took a -4 to Attack on the roll, instead of +3. Was that taking the penalty for around a corner into account?
Indeed it was. I used the squeezing rule in the factor of that which is where the -4 came from. Typically you can't fight from directly around a corner anyways. I won't always use it, but in cases like this where there' very little opportunity for more than just one person to "safely" engage in combat, I'll do this.

Well... There's you, Arathorn as soon as I tell her she needs to post (I've been trying to get her to post without me reminding her, to no avail though so far lol), and Vanya on a consistent basis. I know Ithylia gets pretty busy in lump sums, but I don't know about Cian. He's the one we haven't really heard from since we got going again. I'll post a little later today cause it's late for me and I should be asleep anyways.

So... RL has taken most of my focus lately. Between trying to meet deadlines for things at work (like finishing stuff to push it to production), I've been focusing on taking care of family. My mother has been sick for several weeks now. They are still trying out what's causing it. But what I do know of what they have found has me worried and concerned. Right now I fear the worst, though I pray it's not. Another family member's health went down very rapidly two weeks ago, until today.
I haven't had much energy to spare to other things. I'm just... tired. Worried and tired.
My sympathies. :(

I do too... We were supposed to find out what was wrong with my Mom Tuesday, but new things had developed at that time that stopped them. She goes to see someone else Monday.
I'm sorry to hear that Ithylia. If you need to step away for a bit, we understand. I've got no problem GMPC'ing your character for the time being. I hope all turns out well for you and your family. We're here for you if you want to talk as well, I've got no problem with that.

No, I haven't. I've been under the impression that work and family have her away for a while. I'm just gonna keep GMPC'ing her for the time being until she gives word or we kinda just decide to let her go.

Yea, sorry about this last week guys. iRacing put up a new build the other day and I got sucked up into testing. A lot of things I gotta pick the hang of up in there now. Sorry for the disappearance, high octane can do that to me sometimes lmao.
Are the thrown bits of glass considered ranged touch attacks?

EDIT: Also, GM, you can have Ithylia move and shoot her bow now. Maintaining a bardic performance is a free action, so she's allowed to do that.

Good point, my bad. I'll reflect it in my next post if that works for you guys. I don't play bards, so this is a learning experience so to say lol. And the shattering bit is just flair. The stat block just lists it as hurled glassware, which by itself is just plain sounding. Plus you're wearing scale, so I've kinda had to improvise how thrown glass is going to cut you lol. They've just had some good rolls. This site hates me for the dice rolling, so I use actual dice for a proper fit. If I used the dice here, nothing would ever touch you lol.

And now you're waiting on me I believe lmao. So it's pack week, and half my computer is torn apart now. I've got the desktop and a single screen once again, which makes me have the sad lmao. Anyways, unless someone wants to jump in as a temp DM for the next 2 weeks max (I lose internet on Friday), then things can keep moving forward. If not, well things will kinda flow when I have internet at a hotel, if that happens lmao. I'm hoping to be in Jersey by next Saturday, the 28th, while Arathorn should be there much sooner since she's not limited to 55 mph thanks to a tow dolly (which is going to be the death of me... Plus side is I can't get a speeding ticket lol), but she'll probably be out until I get there cause she'll be spending much needed time with her dad. So yea. That's where were at, so doesn't matter to me. We can just take a break for about 2 weeks with the occasional post from a hotel when I can, or things can keep moving if one of you guys want to pick up until I get to Jersey.
