Maybe you could take note of other PCs as you see them? That's more or less what I've been doing.

You could bump into someone, I mean Ithylia was just dancing down the streets. And now she's scarf shopping. She's kinda hard to miss as bright and colorful as she is.

Ithylia does have a good point Cian, just saying. Honestly I'm picturing an elven Lindsey Stirling bouncing through Sandpoint with that description lol.

XD well Lindsey Stirling did give me some inspiration in which performs to take for her. I think it's because I wish to be able to play and dance as well. (My coordination is just not there lol) Though the whole fiddle thing could also be attributed to all my years of playing as well.

But being bright, bubbly and distracting is what Ithylia's good at so... the more color the better!

I get the feeling that this scarf thing might be a each town we go to she's going to pick one up lol

Like my dad and shot glasses lol. That's a fun little character quirk to play with. I'm curious if you walked into a shop that didn't have scarves...

I like his violin work, but can't really get past his voice honestly. It sounds like he's trying to push the English language with out an accent and it just doesn't sound right to me, but that's just my opinion. But I did enjoy the violin though.

Didn't watch any of the live videos. I don't doubt he can construct a good song, I just can't get past his voice lol.

at least most of the players won't be hard to notice. it has to be easy to pick 17-19 charisma out of a crowd. Especially when one of them is bounding.

No, that was an account I lost the password to and just said screw it, I'll make another because I've no idea on the email as well lol. All I did was update Windows 8, didn't even realize it had logged me in lmao.

I just took it in stride. I think my brain is half fried from the chaotic morning at work today. (we updated someone yesterday afternoon and the update had bugs we didn't realize where there)

apparently I failed my perception check because I didn't even realize it was a different account. Oh well I have a reason, I am trying to get a mortgage and find a house to buy...hey shiney.

I think I've found one of the few things that would make Ithylia sad. Not being able to afford a scarf.

Yea, that would suck. Although this is just the start, so I think you're just gonna end up having a scarf budget where you say xxx GP on scarves lol. An I am enjoying the character introductions, looking forward to the strength contest here. It oughta be good.

How would that work? Would I give him craft sewing, and he has to sew the spells into his scarves, and then he wears the ones for the spells he wanted to prep that day?

Doesn't seem to be anything stopping you from using scarves as the scrolls. Perhaps it could be the spellbook? 50ft long scarf for the wizard XD

I can see that now, a 50 foot long scarf with intricate details sewn into it lol... How long would it take to add a new spell onto the thing?

Depends on how fast you can sew? Though I feel this would be more embroidery than just being able to sew.

And the standard rules for adding a spell to a wizards spell book is 30 mins for a cantrip and 1 hour/spell level for other spells. The question would be how much space would it take up on the scarf.

I think i'm going to try to figure out how to best do that scarf wizard. I have a few ideas on that scarf-book.

:) All I was saying is that there is no need to rework rules. After all, what's the difference between the Tian wizard using a collection of Rice Paper scroll and a Chelish Diabolist using a bound book? None :) Just the 'look' of it. Same for the Scarf idea (which is super cool, btw!), pay the same GP costs you would for a 'spell book' keep the same Hardness/HP and voila, you have a "Scrap-Book" :)
