Matthias tucks the book away in his pack excitedly when he hears it's time for Hollie's speech. "Indeed! Let us be off to s... s... support her and see the glorious dedication!!!" He scurries along to witness the dedication and tries to find an unoccupied barrel for himself and Jess to stand on to see the proceedings. He nods at Shae's encouraging words but quivers a little bit at the idea of attacking hecklers. Oh my... I certainly hope that won't be necessary...

he bows his head during the moment of silent to remember the loss and the friend he lost that day. Then when Hollie calls for a return to the festivities, he lets out a series of yips and hollers to express his excitement! Time for more fun!

Jes jumps up and down with applause as Hollie finishes her speech. She nearly falls off the barrel that she shares with Matthias in her excitement but grabs onto him to keep herself from falling "Ewf.. sorry, my excitement got the better of me." she grins at Matthias.

After regaining some composure she continues "She did a wonderful job don't you think? I totally think she was cut out for this type of thing."

Gritz has been quietly observing from the sidelines for his part as things have progressed. He really wanted to join in on the apparent fun... but doubted he'd be welcome with open arms. Still, when Hollie approached the stage and started to consecrate the ceremony (whatever all that meant), he clambered out of the trash bin he was digging through for scraps and watched with respectful, attentive, bulbous eyes.

He lit up a little when Hollie mentioned the Pretty Lady in the Sky(tm)! Shelly was her name? Yeah, close enough! So this church was meant to honor Pretty Lady Shelly? He felt a little bit of pride well up inside him, believing that the Pretty Lady in the Sky had guided him to this moment as if to assure him that he was setting out on the right path. She turned his worry into pride! Scariness into prettiness! PRAISES TO LADY SHELLY!

When the crowd claps, Gritz couldn't help, but clap along with them from his hiding spot. She deserved it! It was the prettiest speech ever! (Until the next one he heard, which would replace this one as the prettiest speech ever). He seemed content that things were progressing smoothly... no evils to be battled here! Perhaps he should be on his way! Not that Gubby shared his sentiment... he was too busy breaking a chicken bone apart and gnawing for the marrow inside.

Shaedeen claps at the conclusion of Hollie's speech, happy that her new friend didn't freeze up. She readies herself to try to catch the wobbly gnome when Jessalissa gets a bit too enthusiastic in her celebration of Hollie's small triumph and nearly falls off the barrel, but the nimble gnome catches herself nicely.

When Hollie and Draxtherian rejoin the group, Shae says, "Hey--I overheard someone mention the Devil Hunt, which is supposedly an archery contest of some sort. We all did well in the goblin toss; maybe the Devil Hunt has better prizes!"

I'm going to throw out a Perception check to notice Gritz, since he seems to have at least partially come out of hiding. Then Shae will ask some locals for directions to the archery contest.

Totally forgot I was keeping things in Spoilers for the GM... but this works, and is absolutely within Gritz's character, so I shall roll with it!

Perception DC 19:
Out of the corner of your eye, you see what looks, at a glance, like a goblin! Though he seems... odd. His ratty armor seems decorated (for lack of a better description) in tattered strips of leather and cloth in a variety of colors, either naturally that color, or poorly stained with what might be crushed berries. as well as a wide variety of wild flowers in various stages of wilting stuck in whatever crevices can be found. Leaning against is shoulder is a small, rusty glaive... beyond the rust, it seems like a magnificently created weapon!

He seems to be clapping along with the crowd at Hollie's speech, before apparently realizing he might be seen and ducking back behind a bunch of old crates in the alley.

Perception DC 20:
What at first glimpse seems to be a small, hairless dog is, in reality, a horrifically over-sized rat! It seems more interested in the little bone it's gnawing on than anything else around it, luckily.

After a moment, a little green hand reaches out from behind a crate and grabs it by its tail, dragging it out of sight behind the boxes. Although it doesn't move, it clearly isn't pleased with being tugged, snarling its teeth around its bone as its stubby nails dig into the dirt.

Matthias helps Jess regain her balance with an attempt to conceal a small grin. That was funny... but I mustn't make her think I'm being rude! He nods vigorously at the question. "Yes! An excellent speech!" He can't imagine being gifted with such powers of oration.

When Shaedeen mentions heading out to seek more games, Matthias looks around in wonder.

Perception (distracted): 1d20 + 6 - 5 ⇒ (9) + 6 - 5 = 10

Festivals certainly are marvelous things! Where one has friends who just want to have fun! He pipes up "I would be g... g... glad to join in such a game!"

Mattias:
A quick look at your new purchase would seem to indicate that it is in fact a book of some age

As Hollie finishes her dedication prayer ripples of approval flow through the crowd. Father Zantus smiles, rises from his seat and steps forward to address the crowd. "Well said Hollie. I think we can all agree you've more than lived up..."

His words are cut short as a scream issues out from the back of the crowd. As heads turn in that direction another issues from the opposite side of the crowd. Suddenly short, lithe figures can be seen darting between the packed onlookers. Before you a man falls to the ground with blood pouring from his thigh. Just in front of where he was standing you get your first look at one of the creatures. It's green-grey skin, wide head, pointed ears and maniacally grinning toothy maw instantly give it away as a goblin. You watch in disgust as it draws it's tongue along the side of it's dogslicer to taste it's victims blood before it cackles and sprints into the crowd.

It's then that you hear the high pitched, shriek of a song rising even over the sound of the crowd :

Goblins chew and Goblins bite,
Goblins cut and Goblins fight,
Stab the dog and gut the horse,
Goblins eat and take by force!

Hollie:
From your place on the stage it's near impossible to tell what is causing the chaos below until a stone whistling through the air strikes the formal hat from Father Zantus' head. Following the weapons path back with your eyes you manage to spot one of the goblins issue some rude gestures before running off.

Father Zantus retreats back to you in a crouched shuffle. "What's going on?" he asks in surprise.

Gritz:
As you reflect on the dark haired woman's speech and how nice the Pretty Lady's new house looks your attention is drawn back by the snapping of bone nearby. Looking over your shoulder you see Gubby has finally bitten through the chicken bone. It's then that you see multiple short forms darting from various hiding places into the crowd. Rusted weapons glint briefly in the sun as chaos ensues and a goblin war song starts up.

Goblins - Party

In an instant the relatively orderly celebration becomes a storm of chaos. Townsfolk run in every direction, many not even understanding what the threat is. Screams and calls of pain come from all over as do cackling laughs. Somewhere a dogs whimper is abruptly cut off.

Two goblins clamber up onto the stage. One glares with ill intent towards the dignitaries there while the second rushes to Father Zantus's fallen hat and plops it on his own head before starting a ridiculous dance.

Near Matthias, Jess, and Shae the wounded man moans in pain unaware of a goblin creeping towards him. A second nearby goblin chases a local boy while screaming "Gives the candy!.

Gritz:
A goblin tumbles out of the back of a nearby cart. Picking itself up it seems not to notice you but begins moving towards the gnome, ratfolk and human you'd noticed previously.

Still setting up roll20 so going to run this combat in a more narrative way. Party is up!

Startled by the sudden appearance of the goblins, Matthias stammers and stutters, unsure what to do.

Matthias probably wouldn't be the first to act in this scenario but will follow suit if anyone gets proactive!

Hollie gasps at the sight of violence unveiling itself before her! Draxtherian’s head snaps back and forth at the little fiends running about.

”Goblins!” she replies to Father Zantus before turning to Draxtherian. He simply nods and lunges at the nearest goblins and attempts to rip them to shreds. Meanwhile, Hollie begins chanting some magic as she steps protectively to Father Zantus’ side, dagger at the ready.

Jes's jaw drops as the goblins attack with such brutality, ruining the festival. She glares at the goblins with a frown while looking for an opening to put them down.

She will wait for an opportunity to target a group of the hostile goblins while avoiding collateral damage to any civilians. If she can't target a group, she will throw at a single goblin as well. If she needs to adjust for range, she will take a move action to do so.

Solo Time:
Gritz blinked as the festival started to devolve into all too familiar chaos around him. No... no no no no no! He was right! His goblin brothers were coming to mess up the party! They were going to damage the Pretty Lady's new house! NOT ON HIS WATCH! Seeing a nearby goblin tumble out of the cart and advance on Fussy Evil-Books Guy, Little Shinies Lady, and Yummy Food Lady, as well as a goblin chasing after a little kid for his candy, Gritz knew what he had to do!

It was time to fight!

"Gub Gub! Come!" For a moment, Gubby seemed reluctant to abandon his hard won spoils, but the promise of more substantial food was enough to get him off the ground and into the fray.

Matt, Jess, and Shaedeen might notice notice two goblins approaching their little trio. One of them looks intent on doing them harm, but the other looks... different. Gripping in his little hands is an equally small, but masterfully crafted glaive. Were it not terribly rusted, it would be a sight to behold.

The goblin pointed his glaive at the other goblin chasing the little kid for his candy, and barked a command in a scratchy, high-pitched voice. "Gub Gub! Eat!" A snarl elicits from behind him as an even smaller creature comes barreling forward. At first glance, it looks like a hairless dog, but closer inspection reveals it to be a horribly over-sized rat! The slavering little brute rushes right for the fleeing duo and... attacks the goblin?

Satisfied, the strange arrival turns to the other approaching goblin and raised his hand as he started to chant. But this wasn't the same song the others were singing. It was slightly more... on-key. Barely, but the lyrics were certainly different!

"Gritz will stab and Gubby bite!
We not sing, but we can fight!
All who break the shiny brights,
Beware the Pretty Lady's mights!"

A collection of rainbow-colored fires collected into his tiny palm, before firing towards the trio... or, more accurately, towards the back of the approaching goblin's head!

Was he... not with the others?

Having Gubby charge attack the goblin chasing the kid, and using Fire of Belief on the other goblin!
Gubby Charge Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 2 = 141d4 ⇒ 1

: roll20 link :

On the stage Draxtherian steps forward and unleashes a series of attacks at the goblin threatening the dignitaries. The wiry creature manages to avoid all the dragon's strikes however and retorts "Bad ugly dog!" with a mocking laugh.

Down in the crowd Jess is frustrated to find that there are no handy groupings of goblins and so settles for throwing her flask at the creature threatening the injured man. The bomb takes the goblin directly in the face and sends it's ruined corpse flying back into the crowd.

Behind those at ground level you hear a call of "Gub Gub Eat!" as a rather vile looking creature sprints off and joins the goblin chasing the boy. Oddly it takes a bite at the goblin but at the last second he twists away with an angry scowl on his face.

A second goblin song starts, blared out proudly by an oddly dressed goblin. A blast of rainbow colored light leaps from his hand striking the ground near a second goblin that was approaching the party.

The closer goblin turns back towards the more colorful one and yells something in goblin before turning back towards the party.

Goblin:
"Hey stupids! Bosses say just longshank killing!"

Mattias and Shea left in the round

Gritz snarled and grasped his glaive in both hands. Bosses... as in, more than one chief?

Goblin:
"Who bosses say that? You here to break Pretty House of Lady Shelly!? You not break!"

: roll20 link :

Halting in his tracks the goblin seems to lose interest in the party and turns to regard the colorful goblin.

Goblin:
"What you mean who bosses? You bosses!" his gaze becomes a bit quizzical. "Who you anyway? You funny looking:" The look in his eye starts to shift from confused to malicious.

Gritz grew a determined expression, taking his glaive and planting the pole into the ground while clenching his little green hand.

Goblin:
"Gritz is Gritz of Treestrider goblins! Gritz have only one boss: The Pretty Lady In The Sky! Pretty Lady Shelly! She send Gritz picture book full of pretty things, but can't make anything pretty... so Gritz must protect them!"

Whatever he's saying, he seemed remarkably proud of it, pointing his glaive at the goblin before waving it away.

Goblin:
"Longshanks build pretty house for Lady Shelly! Dragon Lady give bestest speech ever for it! You not break it! If goblins try to break... Gritz break goblins!"

Shaedeen drew her shortbow while looking around at the general uproar.

"I'm guessing this isn't part of the festival...," she says, fitting an arrow to the drawstring and taking a bead on one of the goblins up on the stage threatening Hollie and the older priest.

Matthias finds himself bewildered in all of the excitement but the sight of his friends pitching in to protect the townfolk inspires him to action. He had to do something to help! That goblin there had a long, nasty-looking weapon! Ok... I can deal with this one before he hurts any... what? Matthias soon found himself even more confused but thanking the gods he'd studied the coarse tongue of these strange little folk. He didn't know who the bosses were or what was going on but apparently the one with the long weapon liked Hollie's speech as much as he did and wanted to protect the cathedral. I guess he's on our side for now...

Matthias turns away from the helpful goblin and searches for a troublemaker nearby. He scampers within range and waves his hands in a mesmerizing motion, attempting to cloud the mind of the nearest goblin (other than the helpful stranger). I've never attacked someone before and I don't want to hurt anyone but, from what I've read, this might slow him down. He calls out nervously to the others "Ummm.... I g... g... g... guess we're fighting them?"

Daze: DC 15 will save for the goblin or waste its turn dazed.

Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 = 14

Matthias's spell strikes the goblin who had been chasing the young boy. The creatures eyes go wide and then the lids get droopy as it halts and stares into space. The boy continues to flee and disappears into the crowd.

From all around the goblins disturbing song continues,

"Goblins race and goblins jump,
Goblins slash and goblins bump,
Burn the skin and mash the head,
Goblins here and you be dead!"

The crowd around you continues to disperse. You see some townsfolk knocked to the ground and nearly trampled in the panicked exodus. Goblins continue to run through the pack cutting, biting and smashing whatever strikes their fancy. Here and there small melee's break out as the stouter members of the town fight back. In all chaos reigns.

Just ahead of the main party the injured man groans and falls unconscious.

Up on the podium the remaining goblin yells, "Bad doggie! Bad!" and swings down at Draxtharian.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

The rusty blade finds it's way through his scales and draws blood near his shoulder.

Back on the ground the two squabling goblins continue bickering until one shouts,

"I send you to see Lady in sky then!"

He turns and runs at the colorful goblin.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

A jagged cut appears along the colorful creatures thigh as the blade bites deeply.

The dazed goblin shakes it's head and glares daggers at Matthias.

Back to the party...

Matthias looks around in a panic, unsure how best to be helpful. But the goblin in front of him looks like it means mean business! He waves his hands at it again! He stammers nervously in the goblin's language.

Gritz yelped in pain as the blade hacked into his leg, but remained standing. It was now or never! This was the start of his Great Quest of Goodness!

Putting four of his fingers into his wide mouth, he let out a piercing whistle. Gubby immediately perked up and started to run and yap back to his master, barreling for the goblin he was facing, and slavering as he snapped at the goblin's legs.

As Gubby charged back to help, Gritz decides to display yet another shocking fact: he can speak Common! "Evil-books Fuzzy Guy! They not listen! Once goblins hear song, they don't stop! Take Yummy Food Lady and Little Shinies Lady with you! Run run!" Did he... know them?

Jumping around and spinning his glaive with what appears to be an attempt at grace and agility. He leapt back, before bringing his glaive to slash his foe in the face!

The weird rat thing spins and runs back to the two goblins locked in combat at the colorful ones whistle. Reaching the fight it clamps down on the other goblins calf drawing out a cry of pain. Shaedeen gawks a bit in envy as Hollie causes her mithral dragon to grow to a size large enough to ride! Then she remembers that she's no slouch either, takes a side-step, pivots, and nocks another arrow to her bowstring, loosing it at the goblin to the northeast.

Still the goblin's song continues....

"Chase the baby, catch the pup.
Bonk the head to shut it up.
Bones be cracked, flesh be stewed,
we be goblins! you be food!"

Shae's arrow whistles past the goblin, the shock of it snapping him back to his senses.

Around you the crowd has thinned significantly as people flee the area. The unconscious man in front of you starts to grow pale as blood continues to flow from his leg wound and the man injured by Jessalissa's bomb groans but doesn't move. Elsewhere some of the people who had been knocked down get back up now that the press of the crowd has lessened but some remain where they lay.

Across the way a goblin who had taken up position on the roof of a building to throw what appears to be horse dung at the crowd, slips while laughing hysterically and falls to the ground. The sickening crunching sound as he hits the cobblestones gives a sense of finality to the fall.

Back to the party

Draxtherian rushes towards the nearest goblin, but in his hurry, his jaws snap just short of its face!

Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Seeing the goblin Draxtherian seems to have well in... jaw... Matthias looks around for any other goblins.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Goblins all over town! Well I guess we should deal with this one then go help... I wish I could heal those people...

Daze again. Sorry I'm so boring at the moment, guys. I have very few splots per day right now. I imagine this goblin is getting really annoyed with me. XD

Matthias:
While you catch glimpses of goblins running here and there the only two currently in proximity to you are the creature you've repeatedly stunned and the colorful goblin who recently struck down one of his fellows.

Male Goblin Inquisitor (Sacred Huntsmaster)/1 | HP 10/10 | Init +4, Perc +6 (darkvision 60') | AC 18, T 14, FF 14 | Fort +3, Ref +4, Will +4 | Glaive +2 (1d6+1/x2) reach

One down... who knew how many more of his fellow goblins he had left causing trouble. Turning towards the goblin that Matthias kept stunning, Gritz spied the injured man nearby. Help! He needed to help him! Running closer, Gritz charged his palm with another rainbow of fiery energy, launching it at the goblin.

"Gub Gub! Eat!" Gritz said, pointing at the other goblin. Gubby snarled up from his current feast of goblin and turned towards a fresher meal, yipping and charging back at the goblin, latching his jaws onto it.

Thinking... it wasn't a goblin's strong suit, but if he could guess what his fellow goblins were up to... the war song was distracting, though... WAR SONG!!! "Evil-books Fuzzy Guy! Keep goblin occupied!" he shouted, before pointing his glaive at Jess and Shaedeen. Jess used an explosive... maybe she knew where more were! "Little Shinies Lady! Goblins like fire... get Pretty Dragon Lady, find fire, not let goblins get it! Yummy Foods Lady! Goblins like singing! Find loudest singer, make him stop! Gritz will finish goblin and fix broken longshanks!"

Move action to close distance with the stunned goblin, Fire of Belief to attack him, free action to direct Gubby back to attack the goblin.

Fire of Belief: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Gubby Bite: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 221d4 ⇒ 3

The multicolored flame flies over the goblins shoulder but, distracted by the rainbow colored blast it never sees the large rat creature coming. Gubby leaps onto the battered goblins chest and bears him to the ground while biting into his neck.

Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

The creature hisses in victory and anticipation of it's prize before it seems to notice Draxtherian and begins cowering, looking ready to bolt.

Staying on the clock but currently there are no nearby goblins you're aware of. Nice job!

I don't suppose Gritz would have a chance to apply some CLW to the two downed citizens, would he?

Female Gnome Alchemist (Grenadier) 4 | HP 27/27 | Init +5, Perc +9 (Low-Light Vision) | AC 16 T 14 FF 13 | F +5 R +7 W +1 |

Not seeing any other immediate threats Jes rushes over to the one man who fell earlier to a goblin and tries to stop his bleeding.

Heal: 1d20 ⇒ 4

Not really knowing where to start she yells back to the others "Someone, this man needs help, so do the others that got caught in the blast of my bomb. Let's take care of them quick before any more goblins arrive."

Still keeping to initiative so once the rest of the party throws in actions the goblin can approach one of the injured people and see how it goes :)

Oops just realized my last post used one of my character profiles rather than the GM one...sorry about that.

Who are we waiting on in particular?

At this point only Gritz and Jess have gone in this round

I went, I just posted as Draxtherian since he was the only one of us really doing anything. Unless a new round started and I missed it.

Shaedeen glares at the bossy goblin, perhaps deciding whether or not to put an arrow into it. Then she recognizes the little fellow as the goblin she saw poking around the alley behind the Fatman's Feedbag a couple nights back.

"It's not 'yummy food'--it's garbage!" she tells the gobbo before taking a good listen to try to determine which direction the singing is coming from.

Shaedeen Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

You're correct Hollie, I was off by half a round. That said with Shae going we now advance to the next round

With the immediate threats handled you have a moment to look about. The square has largely emptied as people flee into the streets and seek safety. Nearby the two injured men lay bleeding on the cobblestones while closer to the stage you see Father Zantus and a few of the other dignitaries helping the injured get into the relative safety of the temple.

The colorful goblin and it's rat-dog remain nearby but he seems more interested in talking than attacking.

The sounds of the goblin attack continue to come from all around, their shrill song setting a disturbing accompaniment to the violence.

Shae:
While you can hear the song it's coming from many sources that are constantly on the move. Making it harder to pinpoint at any given moment one voice might fade out as another elsewhere picks it up

Matthias calls out in concern "We should help these p... P... P..." Blast it! Just spit it out! There's no time! "People! Then we can try to stop some goblins." The rodentoid moves over to try to help the nearest person in critical condition.

Heal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

But he's so nervous in this unfamiliar situation that he can't figure out how to help!

”Father Zantus! There are people hurt over here!” Hollie calls out as Draxtherian lunges off in a hurry.

The dragon rushes the remaining goblin, the one dressed so colorfully, and snatched it up in a foreclaw. ”Enough of this!” he roars out, ”Call this attack off now or I’ll rip you apart!”

Grapple vs Gritz: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Sorry Gritz! Had to have the obligatory confused allegiance scene! Haha

Male Goblin Inquisitor (Sacred Huntsmaster)/1 | HP 10/10 | Init +4, Perc +6 (darkvision 60') | AC 18, T 14, FF 14 | Fort +3, Ref +4, Will +4 | Glaive +2 (1d6+1/x2) reach

"It not trash! It very yummy! Gritz is grateful! Oh! Gritz still has treasure for Yummy Food Lady! Her- Waaaaah!" Whatever Gritz was reaching to further is instantly dropped as Drax grabbed the little goblin into a massive claw. Clattering to the ground is a slightly bent, but painstakingly cleaned silver spoon. She might recognize it as one of the spoons used at the Fatman's Feedbag, possibly thrown away after being damaged.

Gubby yelped in a poetic fury at the dragon, ready to attack, but Gritz shot up a hand to calm him. "Gub Gub! No bite!" he ordered before turning to the dragon. He was clearly scared as hell, but he put on his bravest fax it as he replied. "Gritz can't! Didn't know goblins would attack! Thought they might, but didn't know! Gritz just wanted to see the pretty house the longshanks made for Lady Shelly! If Pretty Dragon let Gritz go, he can help! Longshanks hurt, see?"

"Ooh, I can't tell where the singing's coming from...everywhere, it seems!"

Seeing Draxtherian perhaps readying to bite off the colorful goblin's bulbous head, she turns to Hollie and adds, "He and his...thing there...did help fight off the invaders."

Seeing Matthias having trouble stabilizing the fallen citizen, she moves to his side and tries her luck at the unfamiliar task.

Shaedeen Heal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

“Mithral Champion” Paladin 6| hp 52/52| Init +3, Per +9 (Darkvision 60’) | AC 21, T 13, FF 18 | Fort +11, Ref +9, Will +10 (acid/cold/electricity resist 5)| Rapier +9 (1d6/18-20)

Hearing Shae take up for this particular goblin, Hollie places a calming hand on Draxtherian’s neck. ”Don’t kill it, Drax. Strange as it may be, it may not be involved in this...” she says before sliding off of his back.

She then moves to the other fallen villager to try and help them if she can.

Move Action Dismount, then move to the other wounded person.

M Arcanist 4 | hp 30/30 | Init +9, Per +10 | AC 18 T 14 FF 15 Fort +3 Ref +4 Will +5 | Daze: DC 15 will save or be dazed | Spells left: 1st 5/6 2nd 1/3 | Reservoir points left: 4/7

Matthias starts to panic and breathe a bit too hard. He tries to calm down.

Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

But he begins hyperventilating. "What d... d... d... do we do?" But then Shae comes over and helps treat the wounded man and he steadies himself a bit. But he still looks around confused and concerned.

Female Gnome Alchemist (Grenadier) 4 | HP 27/27 | Init +5, Perc +9 (Low-Light Vision) | AC 16 T 14 FF 13 | F +5 R +7 W +1 |

Seeing Shae apparently has thins in hand, Jes places a hand on Matthias' shoulder "Don't worry, we will help these people and then worry about what next after."

Hearing the commotion with the remaining goblin, Jes turns her attention to him and Hollie "Shae is right, that goblin did seem to be helping us. If he can aid in helping the townsfolk, let him do so."

“Mithral Champion” Paladin 6| hp 52/52| Init +3, Per +9 (Darkvision 60’) | AC 21, T 13, FF 18 | Fort +11, Ref +9, Will +10 (acid/cold/electricity resist 5)| Rapier +9 (1d6/18-20)

Hollie looks back over her shoulder at Draxtherian still threatening the goblin. ”Come on Drax! Let him go! If the others say he’s a good gobbo, then surely they know something we don’t!”

The dragon snaps his head around at Hollie, then back to the others, before back to the goblin. ”You had better live up to the credit they’ve given you, or else I’ll be dining on Goblin tonight, and you are invited as the guest of honor!” he says before unceremoniously dropping the goblin.
