Trapfinding: A rogue adds 1/2 her level to Perception skill checks made to locate traps and to Disable Device skill checks (minimum +1). A rogue can use Disable Device to disarm magic traps.

Trap Spotter (Ex) (rogue talent): Whenever a rogue with this talent comes within 10 feet of a trap, she can attempt an immediate Perception check to notice the trap. This check should be made in secret by the GM.

Danger Sense (Ex): At 3rd level, a rogue gains a +1 bonus on Reflex saves to avoid traps and a +1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks made by traps. In addition, she gains a +1 bonus on Perception checks to avoid being surprised by a foe. These bonuses increase by 1 every 3 rogue levels thereafter (to a maximum of +6 at 18th level). This ability counts as trap sense for the purpose of any feat or class prerequisite, and can be replaced by any archetype class feature that replaces trap sense. The bonuses gained from this ability stack with those gained from trap sense (from another class).

Careful Disarm (Ex): At 4th level, whenever a burglar attempts to disarm a trap using Disable Device, she does not spring the trap unless she fails by 10 or more. If she does set off a trap she was attempting to disarm, she adds double her danger sense bonus to avoid the trap.

Bleeding Attack (Ex) (rogue talent): A rogue with this ability can cause living opponents to bleed by hitting them with a sneak attack. This attack causes the target to take 1 additional point of damage each round for each die of the rogue’s sneak attack (e.g., 4d6 equals 4 points of bleed). Bleeding creatures take that amount of damage every round at the start of each of their turns. The bleeding can be stopped by a successful DC 15 Heal check or the application of any effect that heals hit point damage. Bleed damage from this ability does not stack with itself. Bleed damage bypasses any damage reduction the creature might possess.

Appearance Shaedeen’s a pretty thing with short black hair, expressive emerald eyes, pouty lips, and fine facial bone structure. In loose clothing she seems rather scrawny, but in snug clothing (which she prefers) her frame appears lithe.

Personality Acerbic, snarky, and a bit mean-spirited, Shaedeen hasn’t had a true friend since her family left Cheliax for their fateful visit to Magnimar. When shown proper respect or when her ego is stroked, the young woman’s a lot easier to be around. Her short stint with the Tower Girls has instilled a fierce desire for material possessions and status symbols in the young rogue.

Background
Shaedeen’s Chelish parents were murdered four years ago during a business trip to Magnimar. The young teenager spent almost three years living in a local orphanage before being turned out into the streets, due in equal parts to her advanced age and bad attitude. She quickly fell in with the Sczarni and became a trainee in the Tower Girls, a gang that specialized in executing robberies. A natural at the larcenous arts and a physical beauty, it didn’t take Shaedeen long to make some jealous enemies amongst the other trainees. Foremost of these was Keri Malikost, younger sister of an established and popular Tower Girl. Keri framed Shaedeen for the theft of some coins and jewelry from another trainee, and the Chelish rogue was forced to flee or face a harsh, undeserved punishment.

Fortunately, Shaedeen had made a few other acquaintances amongst Magnimar’s Sczarni populace. One fellow offered her a spot in a caravan headed north. In the small town of Sandpoint, she was introduced to a Sczarni leader named Jubrayl Vhiski who promised the young woman a place in his organization. The thankful girl eagerly accepted but swiftly came to resent her impulsive decision. She now works part-time as a server at the Fatman’s Feedbag but resents the constant pinching, groping, and general condescension from its patrons.

Burglar Archetype:

Adept at infiltration, trap removal, and lock picking, burglars prey on the homes of the wealthy and forgotten tombs alike. Such riches are guarded with vicious traps and hazards, but the devious mind of the burglar allows her to find such dangers and avoid them.
Careful Disarm (Ex): At 4th level, whenever a burglar attempts to disarm a trap using Disable Device, she does not spring the trap unless she fails by 10 or more. If she does set off a trap she was attempting to disarm, she adds double her trap sense bonus to avoid the trap. This ability replaces uncanny dodge.
Distraction (Ex): At 8th level, whenever a burglar is detected while using Stealth, she can immediately attempt a Bluff skill check opposed by the Sense Motive skill of the creature that spotted her. If this check succeeds, the target assumes that the noise was something innocent and disregards the detection. This only functions if the creature cannot see the rogue. This ability can only be used once during a given Stealth attempt. If the same creature detects the rogue’s presence again, the ability has no effect. This ability replaces improved uncanny dodge.
