Done, I didn't put page numbers, since I was using the PRD, but all of my stuff is from the core rulebook. The only exception was that I spent 2 cp on a wooden bowl and spoon that is not listed anywhere. I figured that would be approximately the cost for a fairly sturdy set.
Let me know if you have any questions.

@Aeshuura:
Here is what I've seen:
I'm assuming your race is human?
Point Buy is 25. You've only spent 18.
HP at first level is Max, plus Con mod plus Con SCORE. House rule.
Remember to record your action points (5+1/2 level)
It sounds like your Nationality is Varisi
Your ethnicity, it looks like, is Varisian
You can't have Lore Seeker if you aren't new to town. Lore Seeker is part of the Outlander trait. Just change this:
"The only place that he has found acceptance is in the town of Sandpoint, where he resides to this day..." to "Aeshuura has heard that the only place that his people can find acceptance is in the town of Sandpoint," And any other reference I might have missed to him having lived in Sandpoint before.

Geez, I don't know why I thought it was 15. (the 16 strength was because of the +2 for human.)
Okay, changed it so that my Nationality is as a citizen of Magnimar, and Ethnicity is Varisian.
Look over the changes and see if it looks good. I am assuming that I am starting with 0 xp?

@Zelaria:
You list a -1 Str under your melee dagger to hit.
I'd allow you to take Craft: Tailored Goods instead of Clothing if you'd like to (it'd include other things like backpacks as well as clothing.)
Wow. Perfect, as far as I can tell. Okay!
You are golden, Character Approved!
You awaken in the courtroom, finding it to be empty...(except, of course, for the other people who are asleep. For simplicity sake, please ignore them)

![]() |

Ah, okay, I didn't catch that in the beginning of the Gameplay... >.< Okay, is there any inn that we were starting in in particular?

![]() |

No. It doesn't matter to me really. Also, try to keep long OOC comments in discussion. Like, instead of writing something and then editing it if you made a mistake, just delete your old comment. If you can.
*Eye roll* And here are more reasons why Paizo's restriction on not editing and deleting old posts is rather silly.

Zelaria Quiatris |

hehe. it's cool.
My first PbP here I quit among other reasons because my GM said that I didn't SAY that I cast light before I went off into the darkness on my horse, so I went into the darkness in my horse with no light. Int 14, standard action to cast a cantrip, and his answer was "you didn't say it, so it didn't happen, you can't get anywhere."
So I told him that I did not say that my character urinated or defecated either, but I assumed that she was not dying of kidney failure and told him and the crappy group where they could shovel their stuff.

Zelaria, the largest doors are the open ones. I had to read the description a couple of times, but it seems that the other smaller doors are all closed... :)

Zelaria Quiatris |

The clock stands between a set of impressive oak doors and a lone oak door of equitable splendor, identical to another set across the hall. The largest set of doors is at the south end of this long hall. They are open, letting the moonlight stream into the hall.
highlighted were the doors Zelaria was talking about. :P

![]() |

Ohhh, I see, now I have to read it again! ;p
---
So would that be the doors to rooms 3 and 4?

![]() |

So I am assuming that Zel and I emerged from the door to Room 1, and looked across to doors 3 and 4 with the clock in between them?

BINGO!
@Adanel: Indeed, I did give a description of 'room' 15. Because I'm blind, I hadn't seen ya'll post about going into said room, and I'm sitting here wondering "why aren't they posting?" as I respond to the other group. So I scroll up, and there are the posts! That's why it took so long and it was second.
@Zelaria: I'd like to think I allow back pedaling when it comes to posts, but I don't like assuming what someone does with their character. That is the disadvantage of PbP; an issue in game that comes up in real life that can be resolved in two seconds, takes a day or longer on boards, and can cause some drama because it is hard to read another's emotions. As a rule, assume I'm smiling and laughing, even when I'm being anal retentive. Also, I'm open to being challenged as a DM; if you don't like a ruling, we can discuss it.

Zelaria Quiatris |

oh, believe me, the light thing was just the icing on the cake. He had an NPC force a sleeping draught down my characters throat, and after my character died another NPC tore her clothes open and left her corpse lying there naked. He thought it would be cute to resurrect my cloistered cleric and force a level of oracle on her instead of the standard level punishment. And to make things worse, he made a NG cleric a beacon of evil that carried a taint which made her visible from the shadow realm and all of Zon Kuthon's half dozen higher level followers, of which there were literally dozens when the group was level 3 and thought it was good writing.
I'm getting passed my anger with that group and that GM still, is how bad it was.

Answers to gameplay stuffs:
@Zella: Nah, they're gonna throw stones at you. I think that XP is rewarded if you overcome any challenge in any manner, so if you guys just turn around, close the door, and never go back...tada! Encounter overcome. Lesson learned? You don't have to waste your time and resources on every combat encounter.
@Demaiv: They're Zombies. Zombies that are going to throw rocks at you. Badly.
@Aesh: Indeed, the dust has been disturbed recently, by a very large group of people, and it would be stupid easy to follow the group's tracks, no roll needed.

I think the worst I've done here is charm Adanel. And because he hasn't acknowledged it, it hasn't even come up yet. I am running this exact same module elsewhere online, and when the player realized I'd charmed them, they did everything they could to fight the charm. *Head shake* This is why I hate charming PCs. Thank you Adanel for being a good sport about it.

Zelaria Quiatris |

I've been charmed before at table, no problem. Big bad evil that was killing my friend, suddenly my best friend? No problem.
having an NPC shove a sleeping draught down my character's throat without any chance for a PC to step forward and say "no" was absolute bovine feces.

Adanel |

Alright, I'll get up a post here in a moment. Its Adanel so he'll be heading in to destroy them whether they have rocks or not.
As for the charm, it makes me regard her in a more favorable manner, it does not become his biggest objective in life. On top of that, it kind of just fell in line with his promise to protect everyone so it kind of lost a bit of luster with that.
With that said, of course he's going to help her, but he is currently doing so by trying to figure out what's going on.

![]() |

Yeah, I made her act the same way in the other game, and once I used that same key phrase "you might say you find her...charming," the player actually treated Patrissa WORSE than before, threatening to shoot her if she didn't stay downstairs when they went upstairs; said is was for her own good. *Rolls eyes again* One example of many.

![]() |

I think it's this line that most player's don't like:
"You can try to give the subject orders, but you must win an opposed Charisma check to convince it to do anything it wouldn't ordinarily do,"
Fact of that matter is, Charm Person can make a player do something they don't like. And they do have to do what the charmer says if it isn't unreasonable, which is when I get fought against. Makes sense; people don't like being told what to do. I've found it's easier to tell a player to kill their fellow PCs than get the charmer a glass of water.

Have they only gone into one room, or do the tracks head in to different rooms? (I am not sure if they went into multiple rooms.)

They went to every room except upstairs, but I'll say that if you guys don't go into those rooms, you can see the group standing outside of the doorway, and roll initiative, and go next round. New people, here is an old post's text about Init:
In combat, I generally allow about TEN SECONDS worth of dialog on your turn, and FIVE SECONDS outside of your turn, for a total of fifteen seconds worth of blabbering, reasoning that Common, another language, can make this work. Or some other explanation.

![]() |

It looks like Initiative order is:
Zelladania = 20
Adanel = 16
??? = 15
Aesh = 13
??? = 11
Zelaria = 6
Demaiv = 2
Is that correct?
