Well.. time to try some new toys then..

Another arcane word creates a pit under another owlbear.

Create pit under Owlbear 8.

Grinning, Denat uses his newfound power to cover ground under the bandit leader's feet in oily grease.

So...potent augmented mythic grease, using 3 uses of mythic power, and targeting the area with the bandit leader and the front half of owlbear 4.

If someone was to put some fire on the area, any creature in the area takes 1D3 damage and can catch on fire. Any greased creature (meaning I guess those who failed their reflex save ? ) takes 2d6 and can catch on fire.

The Grey Horror continues to savage the helpless Stag Lord, and finally succeeds in pulling his body into component parts.

One Owlbear falls into a spiked pit of Denat's. Another - more agile - dodges a second pit.
His grease fails to drop the Bandit leader, but the Owlbear behind him goes down, and a second later Denat's acid bolt strikes home.

There is a momentary pause in the combat, then with a roar the owlbears attack.

The closest owlbear runs at Simon, but is dispatched instantly by a strike from Forsten before even entering Simon's range.

Another rushes around the wall towards the fight, passing through Simon's fire and into Forsten's blade. Still it advances, almost at Simon when Anglon's readied blow hits it. Somehow despite this damage it keeps on and runs into Simon.

A third Owlbear charges Simon. This one is slowed, but survives Forsten's devastating hit and Simon's fire damage to reach its target... but slowed sufficiently for Simon to evade.

Valerianna's AC is currently 25, actually. Her BASE AC with no buffs is 17. She didn't charge because haste doubled her move speed, and she has monstrous physique (3), haste (1), and shield (4) all pumping it up to 25. I include all that in the spoiler blocks at the end of her posts, for future reference.

Yay, glad Forsten's doing his job :)

Forsten's Bardiche moves in a blur as he does his best to repel the incoming wave of furry-feathered fury. Even with his speed and strength enhanced by the runelord's magic the fearsome creatures still manage to make it through. He lashes out, knocking a beak aimed for Simon's throat to the side yet still the creature stands.

There is little he can do but to continue to stand his ground and strike at the creatures as they come to keep his fellow runelords safe.

Things seem to be well in hand. Grey's whisper said to Ronald.

As a reminder, Grey's permanent Message spell has all the rune lords linked as long as they are in range. We can all talk freely without being overheard even if some of us are invisible or something.

Its a standard action to cast then you have to concentrate of three rounds to narrow your focus enough to know if the sword itself is magical.

Denat conjures a mass of sticky strands filled with spider swarms.

Spending 2 more mythic surges to cast a potent mythic web. I guess there are plenty of points to anchor it. I think I can catch the bandit leader and owlbears 3, 4 and 5 (and maybe 6) in it.
Reflex save is DC 22 and each creature caught or moving in it is attacked by a spider swarm (or several if moving through several 10x10 area)

"Beware of the swarms if you have to go there.."


Grey:

Did you change the mask? I thought it was one at a time? You could certainly just cast Message for CL 6, or through your archmage ability and get CL 8.

More importantly if you dimension door then you can take no other actions

Sorry guys, became pretty clear at least one owlbear was going down before you can attack. I think they're out of range now.

To cast augmented web you need to be 5th tier.
I believe the swarms do damage on the Owlbear's turns.

Denat's web explodes over the area, filling the pit; all but one Owlbear are engulfed.
