"Let me take a look." Ragnar casts Detect Magic
Know Arcana: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Ragnar shrugs, "I don't know, either. Anyone else?"
Andrei Kovacs
"Well, either way, it might be best to try and keep our distance from it as we cross," Andrei cautioned, glancing around to see if there were any other points of crossing nearby which weren't guarded by magic snowmen.
Perception 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 2 - 4 = 16
GM Deadly Secret
Andrei does not see a safe place to cross other than this spot here. It appears you'd have to climb down any other location in order to get onto the sheet of ice to cross. It appears if you peer up or down the creek there is so much rock and thick trees and the continuous snow is preventing your vision from seeing any further than 60 ft.
Andrei Kovacs
"Or not, then," Andrei said with a sigh, upon seeing that there were apparently no alternatives, "Well, anyone got a way to deal with this? Or, does someone feel sturdy enough to approach this abominable snowman and see what it does?" he asked, figuring that having all of them approach at once would just risk leaving all of them ensnared in whatever fey trap they were dealing with.
Yessena
"Pbbbt" Yessena blows a raspberry then kneels down and takes off her backpack. She takes out a torch and some flint and steel, then lights the torch and re-slings her backpack. "It's a snowman, lads." Yessena approaches the snow man with the torch in her left hand and the cold-iron dagger she's borrowing from Ragnar in her right, then begins melting the snowman away with the torch.
Yessena
Yessena continues approaching, speaking to the snowman "Generally speaking when a sign tells me not to continue I'm all the more interested in continuing. And I don't appreciate the insinuation that I cannot read. I full well understand what I'm choosing to ignore, thank you. Also why would I trust a snowman? The case for me turning back falls shorter and shorter as the seconds go by."
GM Deadly Secret
Yessena continues forward and a loud scream arises from the snowman.

Andrei points at the snowman and gives an order to Kilava, who moves to G13 and attacks it, on the off chance it was planning on doing something.

With the combined effort between Yessena and Kilava, the snowman is no more.

You know these elementals are immune to cold and vulnerable to fire. You know that their slam attacks hurt but they are also cold and might numb you if struck. Things you know about elementals: Elemental Traits

Kilava accepts rage and takes a double move action to move to C13, skirting around the enemy's threatened area to avoid opportunity attacks(G13 ->F14 ->E15 ->D15 ->C15 ->B14 ->C13).
Andrei, meanwhile, accepts rage and steps into E13 to flank the enemy with Kilava, and attacks with his starknife.

In order to crit, you have to confirm. You didn't roll to confirm. But that doesn't matter because you can't flank or crit these creatures.
Yessena hits and does some damage including the fire damage.

"I suppose that was at least a good bit quicker than the fey. Everyone alright? Andrei asked.
Assuming that nobody objected, he proceeds to permanently finish off the two enemies with his starknife, because, quite frankly, they'd already let far too many of their opponents walk away for his liking.
Ragnar Lothveld
"It's good to fight enemies I can see, instead of those tiny fey creatures. Should we destroy this snowman, while we're at it? I don't like this thing."
Ragnar will Detect Magic toward the snowman again to see if there's still an aura.
Andrei Kovacs
"Well, we all do the best we can, given the circumstances, and I'm sure we'll all have our chance," Kovacs said, before looking at the snowman, "It seems rather destroyed as it is, and its hardly reacted to us after the initial attack. Not sure what else we could do,"
Andrei Kovacs
”Well, it’s not like we have many alternatives to crossing it,” Kovacs said, examining the ice for any obvious weak spots.
Perception, assuming that’s the right skill for this: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 2 - 4 = 17

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Yessena begins to calmly walk across the ice.
Andrei Kovacs
Andrei watches carefully as Yessena crosses the creek, and then follows, being careful to step only where she had stepped.
Andrei's acrobatics: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
Kilava's acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

"R-right...that's one way to catch a c-cold, I guess," Andrei muttered, shivering. He found himself a tree to slump against while he waited for the rest to cross.
Yessena
Yessena hands Andrei her torch. "It's not much but you'll be needing all the heat you can get. I'll scout around, look for some burnable logs, we'll be needing a fire for sure."
Yessena tries to find some worthwhile firewood.
I'm guessing Perception

"T-thanks," Andrei mumbled, taking the torch. He glanced around to see if there was any firewood nearby he could point out to her.

"Hey..." Andrei called out weakly, "I think there's something here."
Kneeling down, he casts Detect Magic, in case this was the snowman all over again. If he does not notice anything unusual, he waits till the rest of the party shows up, and then tries to uncover the body and examine it.
