A large fireplace takes up most of the north wall of this room, its radiant heat providing palpable relief from the cold weather outside. Cabinets and shelves line the remaining wall space, and four windows look out on the wintry landscape surrounding the lodge.

Ragnar also takes a look around the kitchen.

If he doesn't find anything interesting he'll head to the main room again. He looks at everyone and shrugs, "Well, I guess it's time to start breaking down doors."

Esmera lingers next to the fireplace for a moment, warming up her joints, before taking position across the nearest locked door.
"Looks like this room has two exits; let someone stand guard against the other door if the bandits try to escape. Perhaps you, Ragnar?"
Once the tactics have been agreed, Esmera will take a step back, crack her neck, and run into the door shield-first, putting all of her weight behind the shield bash.

Ragnar goes to the other door in case someone tries to flee out that door. He hears Esmera bang into the door and decides to attempt to break through the door he's at.

Realizing there is no threat, Esmera enters the room as well. She knocks on the chest and eyes it critically. "A sturdy one... I could probably break through it with some hard work but surely someone out there has a key."

Ragnar makes sure the others followed and attempts to break down the door, but this one seems sturdier than the last one.

Ragnar busts open the door.
An L-shaped table with many chairs takes up most of the floor space in this loft. A second smaller table sits near the entrance, and several windows look over the snowy grounds of the lodge. In the southwest corner, a large map hangs on the wall, opposite another door in the northeast wall.
You see two human shaped skeletons with a frost all about them. The respond to the door being busted open and begin to move for you in a hostile fashion.

Esmera rushes into the room and loudly gasps upon seeing the skeletons - she expected living opponents. She gladly accepts rage and continues to move to the one further away - after all, her new allies have been so fearsome in dealing with wooden objects so far that she was confident in their ability to shatter some bones! Upon reaching the undead creature, she strikes at it with her short sword, putting as much force as she can into the strike.
