Sten holds his wicked looking weapon over the slumbering foe. "Oh little fey folk, put down the bows and come out before I crush ya little friend."
So did my single target detect evil show these as evil? Or is it just the woods influence that is evil?

As far as detect evil goes, the woods are evil-ish and so are the wee sprites.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 for DC13 will save, failing!
One sprite tumbles out of the air, landing softly in the snow and slumbering away.
The other one of the critters flies above BoulderShoulder and bright colored lights shoot out from it!
BoulderShoulder (should abbreviate to BS?) needs to make a DC12 will save vs. color spray

Cadell moves behind the strapping paladin and also takes cover. Once in a "safe" position he leans out to cast dancing lights on one of the faeries hiding up in the trees. Perhaps that will keep the little bugger occupied for a few moments.

Perhaps one of the far can be saved. You holy ones, come up and see to the little sprit! Cadell will start to look around for some clues around the battlefield.

Sten huffs a little as he crosses his arms over his chest."Now that we have settled with these little buggers, we should be moving on and dealing with the mission at hand. If someone can bag up the wee blighters we should be able to follow the continuing trail."
Smiling his usual big orcish grin, Vic states
"Bag them yes, strip and bind them first."
Reaching down and grabbing one, holding it as a child would a paper doll, "Like making mischief do ya?"
removing all weapons and tying hands behind it's back, feet bound and stuffing its mouth with cloth...both of em of course.

You trudge off on the snowy path. It is past midnight now and the snow continues to fall heavily. Movement is challenging off the trail.
Suddenly, you notice a white stag standing ahead of you. Close, about 25 feet.

@ Taryn. Fae are down and out. You are facing an elk that Ianto swears is evil. Really. I mean, trust him. It just looks like a deer.
Its a paladin's single target detect evil, not detect evil the spell, so without misdirection we can be confident its an evil deer.

Ianto needs to make a DC13 will save. He sees a small (about 12") tall humanoid fluttering on gossamer wings, hand resting on the tip of his bow.
The elk rides forward, head lowered, right into Boulder!

Having been denied the reach of his weapon by the elk thing, and not wanting to bring the creature closer to his friends, Sten opts for the old spike to the face maneuver.

(I am going to need you to be clearer - what is the old spike to the face maneuver? I assume shorten the reach of your dorn dergar, which is a move action I think, and then use it, but not sure....)
Ianto's bow shrinks to about 1/16th of it's size. So he can put in a new action as his bow is now very tiny.
Cadell is off skiing at the moment, so someone can give me an action for him.
And Alistair can take a turn also.
Growling in frustration Victasys calls down Justice upon this evil creature.

Cadell, drunk on sweet elven wine and lacking any real skills, attempts to snatch the Fae as he slips loose from Ianto.

He whispers to himself, "I hope they don't discover I'm just a pretty, pretty princess!"

Alistair stares in dumbfounded amazement at the shrunken bow (no orders).
Ianto grunts in frustration at his tiny bow. His wild grab at the tiny Fey misses, as does Cadell's.
Victasys shot misses too!
Boulder slams an armored (and spiked) forearm into the elk, and it drops to the ground, bleeding out. Taryn's hex hits the animal as it drops.
The Fey rises into the air above you (about 25 feet) and extends a tiny hand toward Boulder. A snowball shoots at the dwarf!
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 for a ranged touch attack
hitting for 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4) + 2 = 7 and Boulder needs a DC13 fort save or he is STAGGERED
Players may go. I will probably need orders for Cadell and maybe Alistair...
Please modify the tag line next to your posts to show a standard format of: class and level, HP (current)/max, AC(normal)(touch)(flat footed) and saves (fort)(reflex)(will). Perception is good to add too. See Victasys as a good example.
It will help move things along a bit so I don't have to dig as far for character info. I thank you in advance.

With a splash of whitish-blue blood,the Fey spins out of the air, dead from the tremendous cut from Ianto's scimitar.
Once again quiet descends upon you, along with heavy snow.
After a bit, Ianto's bow re-grows to normal size.

You continue to drudge through the dark night. The snow is over a foot deep to the sides of the trail - definitely rough terrain (which takes double movement).
Ahead of you on the trail you see a snowman. It is about 15 feet ahead of you (consider yourself on the edge of the map).

The stream is shown, and F2 has some dark spots in the ice that covers it (make knowledge nature check if you wish).
F3 is a bit weirder. Those of you with better eyes can see a pair of legs extending from under a snowbank. They look human ish, or at least medium sized.
We seem to have lost Alistair, and possibly Taryn. Which is OK, as the adventure is built for 4.
