Sigrun's hammer smacks dragon Alexei squarely in the small of his back, and he lets out a grunt of pain as he dives out the window. Your Benevolent Dictator |

Alexei was in human form when he got shot, so he was on the ground. He's at -6 HP.
There are no other apparent threats in the room, but there are a few closed doors, and there's no telling what lies on the other side.
Also, as a reminder, Percy had detected multiple magic auras before combat started.

Wow. I've seen people ignorant of magic, but this is impressive. Precy mutters as she goes through the books. Only one of these is legitimate. One of these even goes into a hierarchy of demons! Ha! As if they had any hierarchy other than "I can kill you, but you can't kill me!"

'Silence' |

Mule pauses and does a thorough horselike examination of Alexi before biting the scruff of his clothing and dragging him back.... meanwhile confident that no further threats are about for the moment he takes a seat and catches his breath... glancing at his precious snowglobe to get a glimpse of his beloved.

Dragon Alexei is not unconscious and stable at -1 HP. Considering one of the spirits that you killed also looked like Alexei, it's probably wise to keep him that way until the chaos of the last encounter is cleared up somewhat. XD
The cowering Anastasia looks up as Silence pulls out his snowglobe. Her expression grows interested, then fascinated. "My heart used to know. There are things it yearns to remember."

'Silence' |

He tilted his head at the girl confused at her words at first... He was trying to discern it if were some form of poetry.
"Have you seen one of these before miss Anastasia? This one is magic i think... sometimes when i look into it I can see my bel..."
He paused glancing about slightly embaressed. it was a good thing his fur covered his blush.
"It shows this rugged and valiant warrior I am enamored with."
He finished peering into the swirling snows looking for a certain Winter wolven lass.

'Silence' |

Silly question maybe... how young does Anastasia appear?
He smiled warmly at the sights pratically trying to memorize everything when the Anasasia spoke. There was a moment of paranoia that ran through his body but finally he nodded simply. He hovered near he to catch the magical item if need be.

Percy Silvershaper |

Percy tucks away the books, then waits to move out for Silence to stop staring at his ball.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

@Silence: Anastasia is 17
Anastasia clutches the snowglobe in both hands as if her life depends on it and stares deeply into it. The snow inside swirls harder than it ever has before and then settles. The girl's eyes close, and she begins to slump forward before abruptly catching herself. "I remember...."
Still holding the snowglobe, Anastasia slowly stands up straight and looks all of you in the eye. In a proud, regal voice, she announces. "I am Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov, daughter of the Tsar and sole heir to the throne. I have been unwell as of late, but thanks to you, I am once again whole. Russia owes you a great debt."

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

"That I did not expect. So can you tell us more about what happened?"

Your Benevolent Dictator |

"It's all a bit fuzzy, I must confess. I remember the Bolsheviks who captured us. I remember my family being executed. I remember a gun pointed at me ... a muzzle flash ..." She shakes her head in some distress. "Then I woke up. Our friend Grigori was there ... alive! He said his piety had kept his spirit stitched to his body, so the assassins sent to kill him were bound to fail. He said he needed my help if the World Anchors failed. He's a good man, but I've seen monsters in the camp. Dead things and demons with knife-tipped fingers. Grigori says they're here to protect me, but I sense great evil in them."

'Silence' |

He tilted his head to the side and frowned.
"You are the who of where friend Anastasia yes yes?"
He began glancing torwards hobbes and the others and sort of giving a huhwhat look before letting his demeanor return to its normal placid state.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

"Do ya know where he is now?" Hobbes asks as he tries to make sense of what the girl has said.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

Anastasia shook her head. "He said he had work to do in the 'Place Between Worlds,' whatever that means. Viktor might know, but I haven't seen him since Grigori woke me up. He shouldn't be hard to find: one of his legs is metal. German mine during the Great War."
As it's been a while, I'll remind you of the chat you had with the tombstone fairy before you entered the camp. She said the person who could help you was in areas D3 and E1. You're currently in Building F.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

After we finish talking to Ana, we should go to D3.
"That sounds bad. What do you know about this Viktor fella?"

'Silence' |

He gently took his magic snowglobe from the suddenly more aware of herself he put the device away.
"A metal leg? An lectrition?"
He said the first with a simple conviction and the second with some confusion. The idea of a metal appendage didnt seem to worry him... but an lectrition sounded ominous.

Percy Silvershaper |

That's... unhelpful. Anything else?

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Well then, we should move on to D3 then.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

D3
The blackened remains of a long wooden barracks building threaten to crumble into ashy ruin the the snow. The haphazard pile of burned timbers resembles a mound of charred and blackened bones. The smell of burnt flesh is strong here, and the skeletal remains of many people can still be spied among the ruins.
A Large, jackal-headed creature is shuffling through the debris, gnawing on the burned bodies of those consumed by the flames. As you watch, it begins to pick its teeth with a metal appendage ripped from a nearby corpse.
Know(planes) DC 22 tells you it's a meladaemon.
