'Silence' |

He frowned at Percy's words. What made this an elven druids wet dreams? what made a dream wet? He had not met... many elves yet in his travels on this side of the world. Perhaps there was implications that plants like water, and druids like plants, so perhaps they dreamt of rain? He shook it off and shrugged to himself making do with patting his best friend's long graceful neck.

"Yea, let's get goin'"

Your Benevolent Dictator |

Deeper in the jungle, you find a wooden two-room building. The door is open, and inside, you can see a storeroom filled with dusty piles of old furniture, mounds of moldering herbs, bales of cloth, barrels of fertilizer, clay pots, and trays of dried seeds. A humanoid figure completely wrapped in red robes is cataloguing everything inside. It looks up as you approach and gives you a low bow. "Hail, travelers! Have you come to see the master?"

Lyosha Neverhome |

Neverhome bows back out of courtesy. "Um, maybe? Who is your master?"

'Silence' |

He peered at the figure trying to see what it was... without well being too obvious about seeing what it was. His tail lashed back and forth in curiousity. He wondered if it were a plant man... he hoped it was a plant man, everything else had been a plant so far, so why couldnt it be a plant man?

'Silence' |

His ears instantly lay back and his tail became deathly still at the offer of the gemstone and the red robed figure.
"Why do you offer this yes yes?
He questioned making no move to take the gemstone at all.

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

Sigrun studies the gem as she awaits the answer, watching Silence for the first indication that battle would be joined.

Percy Silvershaper |

Percy also doesn't take the stone. Gifts from fey were dangerous things and she wasn't sure he wasn't fey yet.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Neverhome bowed slightly and politely held his hands up but away from the robed creature so It wouldn't try to shove the gem into his hands. While he had never seen any like that, he knew from his childhood in the mines that rarely anything good came from those things.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Hobbes also declines taking a gem, especially after seeing everyone else not taking one.

Lyosha Neverhome |

"Nyet, and we mean no offense, but who is your master?"

Percy Silvershaper |

We ask, sir, because you are saying "Master" when we know the true overlord of this realm to be a Woman.

Uh, Percy, pretty sure women can be masters too :3

Percy Silvershaper |

Ya, but then I would expect him to say Mistress or Matron or something.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Point.

Percy Silvershaper |

It doesn't look like we have much choice.
Percy harumphs and follows. Stupid cagey mystery animated robes...

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Hobbes follows along, trying to keep himself from reaching for his bow.

Zsestrian Raven |

"I'm sure there's nothing to worry about!" Zses whispers to the others as he follows after the robed figured, not really worried by the situation: it wasn't a plant and it didn't try to eat them as soon as he spotted them, at least

"Enslave?!" Neverhome snarls out as he stares up at the odd beast. Growling while he thought over what to do* that familiar bale fire started to build in his chest. Though instead of spreading through his body it raced up through his lungs and throat and, heralded only by a single breath tinted with green flames, erupted forth in an acrid stream of emerald flame at the beast.
