As you make your way down the path, ylosani thinks he saw a glimpse of things here and there that looked familiar, but nothing for certain. It takes a little while but you manage to find the river with the bleeding exploded snowman then farther down the trail you come across the house and Ylosani freezes

Ylosani nods at Mustafa's question and comforting gesture as he sees the cabin where his previous allies were slaughtered.

He negates the man's offer, though. "No. This is my task and my duty to perform. I owe it to them to punish the ones who killed them," he says.

"There are 2 entrances. The one on this side is barred but it is a straight shot in. We'll go in that way. We smashed the other open but there is an angle inside that might break our momentum."

He leads the way toward the cabin, but stops several yards away so that he has the distance he needs to fire.

Eladorn concentrates briefly, and subtle changes to the bone structure and skin shade cause his face to take on a sort of owlish appearance. He quietly approaches the front porch of the cabin, where he peers in through the window.

You two..pointing directly at Maraxus and Tyrael; you two are the ones with all the armor and big weapons!! What are ye waiting for? A written invitation from a Necromancer?!...get in there and get killing things! Newmark folds his hands in front of his chest and stares needles in to the warriors for their unnecessary talk.

Newmark says to Maraxus, Stand aside for a second, I got something might help! Newmark then uses his acid dart ability, to cast a glob of acid right at the door acid dart Att.: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 ( The door assuming it's medium size, has a AC:3 according to Raw. Wood should be vulnerable to acid if we're using "real life" as an analog (by-passing hardness and doing full dmg.). energy attack against object rules:
Objects are easier to hit than creatures because they don’t usually move, but many are tough enough to shrug off some damage from each blow. An object’s Armor Class is equal to 10 + its size modifier (see Table: Size and Armor Class of Objects) + its Dexterity modifier. An inanimate object has not only a Dexterity of 0 (–5 penalty to AC), but also an additional –2 penalty to its AC. Furthermore, if you take a full-round action to line up a shot, you get an automatic hit with a melee weapon and a +5 bonus on attack rolls with a ranged weapon.

Energy attacks deal half damage to most objects. Divide the damage by 2 before applying the object’s hardness. Some energy types might be particularly effective against certain objects, subject to GM discretion. For example, fire might do full damage against parchment, cloth, and other objects that burn easily. Sonic might do full damage against glass and crystal objects.

FYI most wooden doors have between 10-20HP hardness of 5

The bodies of Ylosanis fallen comrades dont seem to move, though they definately dont seem like themselves, Nox looks like her body has been stitched up, though it almost seems all at once the corpses heads just fall backwards with the jaw wired up in a grin.

Eladorn calls Shael over to him as he backs off the porch. He doesn't like the look of the array of dead bodies and would just much rather see something... happen... in there so he had a better idea of what was going on.

A flash of fury passes over Ylosani's face for anyone who is watching him. It passes with an obvious effort of will but his jaw remains tightened, the tendons straining, visibly.

"I don't know, but whoever did it is going to suffer for it," Ylosani replies.

I moved Thorn in front of me so he could do his detect poison stuff.

As thorn moves in front of Newmark, Newmark reaches out and touches him saying, Well if there is poison about, this should help ye' resist the effects.. Newmark cast resistance on Thorn Silvertip.

Newmark looks to Ylosani, Your comrades appear to have passed on to Pharasma, one of the others mentioned their bodies was mutilated. Shouldn't you go inside and identify them? Here, Newmark touches Ylosani and cast resistance on him. That may help if the Necromancer is still around. Newmark nods and motions his hand toward the door. We'll need to take care of this sooner or later..let's head in now lad. We'll be right behind you.

Still not comfortable with the obscene tableau, and not trusting that there still isn't a trap about to snap on them, Eladorn slowly returns to the porch. He nods at Newmark. "You're giving out those spells like blessings; is that how Nethys gets priests, just recruits wizards?" He grins awkwardly, then drops his head sadly. "You've got to try to find some humor, in light of things like this." He shakes his head as he waves at the setup in the main room.

"Anyway, can Shael and I get one of Nethys' blessings there?"

He returns the favor with casting of guidance, which he also casts on Shael and himself before stepping into the cabin.

So I guess if everyone was searching rooms it's been a few minutes? Guess all the resistances would have expired..Has the leader of our expedition entered the house? Newmark will enter the house after Ylosani; re-casting resistance on himself, before he follows the elf inside.

Ylosani comes just inside the house, staying in the large front hall so that he has range to shoot anything that comes at him before it can get to him.

He looks at the corpses of his former companions only briefly, not letting himself wallow in his grief over their loss or anger over what has been done to them.

"Come out, whoever, or whatever you are," he calls to whatever is making the noises from behind the fireplace.

He brings his bow up, drawing the string back to his cheek and watching both sides of the fireplace, ready to loose his arrow should an opponent appear. His definition of opponent is pretty wide, at the moment and anything the least threatening is going to get shot at.
