ROUND 2 MAP

Tahllana Skyhunter |

Tahllana shoots, but not quickly enough to catch the ogre as it moves to the rear of the building.
Actually, since she'd have to be a moron to loose an arrow at an empty walkway, let's say she's smart enough not to waste an arrow on an enemy who's not there. :P
EDIT: More in OOC thread.

Tahllana Skyhunter |

BTW, double move for Dragox is 100 ft. and 80 ft. for Narses. They should be closer to the building if this isn't difficult terrain.
Tahllana continues to follow the ogre around the north side of the building, arrow on string, remaining wary for drop-offs beneath the water and listening for the sound of an alarm being raised. Double move: 60 feet more toward the building, aiming to end up on the northern walkway; Perception 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26

Dragox |

Dragox keeps moving toward the ogres. I am unsure how close I can get to them, DM, but I will double move again, pulling my extra special magical shuriken, as I assume next round I should be close enough to get a good shot in.

DM Tanner |

I'm a little confused as to where everyone goes, since I neglected to put up coordinates for previous rounds for easy reference. I'm going to give us a mulligan round to make sure that everyone can do what they want.

ROUND 3 MAP

Dragox |

I'm a doofus and forgot I still had plenty of time left on my Air Walk spell.
Dragox moves through the air, powered by the blessing of the Dawnflower. He moves roughly 40' high and moves forward to o36, hoping to get a glance of what was happening in the tower.

Maysalkirii Weyog |

I'd like Maysalkirii on the walkway please. Move me to I27 this turn but i'd like feedback on whether he sees anything before using the rest of his movement. If he doesn't, continue to K24, leaping diagonally off and onto the walkway (I auto-pass the acro check). This still leaves me with a standard action left (and a little movement i think).

ROUND 3 SUMMARY
Maysalkirii climbs to the top of the building and readies himself to attack.
Shalani moves around the building.
Dragox floats into the air to survey the rooftop.
Tahllana moves around the building.
Narses moves around the building.
--------------------
Ogre 1 (31 damage) throws a javelin at Dragox 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9, Damage 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Ogre 2 (29 damage) Strength check 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 (If you do not succeed on the opposed Strength check, Dragox will move 5 feet west. For every 5 by which the ogre wins, you will move an additional 5 feet.)
Ettin throws a pair of lassoes at Dragox as he floats in the air. Attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26, Attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13. (versus touch AC) One hits Dragox and he gains the entangled condition. He cannot move more than 15 feet away from Ogre2 without DC 15 Escape Artist check as a full-round action. The ettin passes the line to an ogre, who yanks hard trying to pull Dragox.

ROUND 4 MAP

Maysalkirii Weyog |

Sounds like Ogre 2 is using some weird form of the drag maneuver where you don't roll VS CMD, but Dragox is 15 feet away and out of reach? Is he reeling in the lassoo? Also I think Dragox only used his move action last round and was hoping for feedback before he used a standard...
Maysalkirii quietly draws his blades and casts Flames of the Faithful, invoking the judgement of destruction as he does so. He 5 foot steps closer to the group of giants (now 5 feet away)

Dragox |

DM, assuming the lasso is regular rope, Dragox will attempt to pass a DC 16 concentration check to cast Burning Hands hoping to burn through the rope, and I think the cone might actually hit the ogres, as well.
Concentration Check 1d20 + 7 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 4 + 4 = 18
Dragox is suddenly ensnared, once he reaches the top of the tower. He sees the ogres and another large creature grasping the other end of the lasso and knew he was in a bit of trouble. He was entangled, but concentrated intensely to cast a spell to burn the rope away.
Burning Hands Damage 5d4 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 3, 1) = 15 (DC 15 Reflex save for half, if it does get the ogres)
If he gets free, he will fly east 30', hoping to get outside the range of the other lasso.

Tahllana Skyhunter |

huh.. why did I assume the ogres whent behind the building? meh.
They did. Then they climbed a ladder over the back wall into the buiding? Or onto the roof? What is Dragox seeing: Is that the roof of the building or the inside of the walls that the doors lead into?
Tahllana uses message to pass information about the ettin and ogres to the rest of the group.
Further action when I get the answer to the question above.

Maysalkirii Weyog |

huh.. why did I assume the ogres whent behind the building? meh.
Realizing he's heading in the wrong direction Narses curses and heads back around the building and up the stairs.
Double move to K 33
There is a rolled down ladder rolled from the roof of the buiding. Maysalkirii can't answer right now sorry Tahllana.

Tahllana Skyhunter |

Tahlanna moves onto the platform and to the foot of the northern stairs. Looks like J 33; or wherever she can get a glimpse of the ogre at the top of the stairs, she will stop there. She just wants to get to where she can line up a shot.

Tahllana Skyhunter |

Sorry about the delay. Been at work for the past 10 hours. :( Are those stairs going up from the boardwalk to the roof?
I believe so.

Shalani Mistoreth |

Shalani moves along the boardwalk to J33 and swiftly retracts a bomb from her pack, flinging it at the top of the stairs. M33.
I'm assuming I can do that, even though I can't see M33 because of the angle.
Bomb Attack 1d20 + 10 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 10 - 1 = 25
Splash 10' for 4d6 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (1, 2, 1, 3) + 2 - 1 = 8 fire damage, and catch on fire.

DM Tanner |

ROUND 4 SUMMARY
Maysalkirii does something out of view...
Shalani lobs a firebomb onto the roof of the building.
Dragox burns through the rope with a fiery blast. One ogre catches on fire, but his thick armor keeps him from noticing the worst of it.
Tahllana moves to a spot where she can see one of the ogres.
Narses moves around the building.
--------------------
Ogre 1 (39 damage) Reflex 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Attacks Narses with a longsword. Attack 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27, Damage 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Ignore this one. I tried changing it but it changes all of the other rolls. REAL DAMAGE 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Ogre 2 (33 damage) Reflex 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Attack Dragox with a javelin. Attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23, Damage 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Ettin Attacks Dragox with a pair of javelins. Attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15, Damage 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9. Attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26, Damage 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

ROUND 5 MAP

Narses Kale |

"Oi! Ow, you frakker!" Narses shouts at the ogre, going red in the face with anger he steps forward up the ladder and unleashes a flurry of attacks on it.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19, 1d10 + 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (7) + (5) + 12 = 24
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13, 1d10 + 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (10) + (6) + 12 = 28
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23, 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14

Tahllana Skyhunter |

With her shot partially blocked by allies in her way, Tahllana narrows her eyes and directs an intimidating gaze at the ogre at the top of the stairs. Evil Eye hex on ogre 1: -2 to AC for 7 rounds; Will save DC 17 to reduce duration to 1 round

Maysalkirii Weyog |

Sorry, super busy and this post took a long time...
Maysalkirii suddenly appears behind the Ettin, Ilyandrosa bathed in righteous flame and Chianni in a pale white light. He lunges with both blades into the exposed back of the Ettin...
Swift action Bane (Giant) on Chianni, full attack. Five foot step to the west after the attack.
Active Effects-
Bless (+1 attack and save vs fear)
Divine Favor (+2 attack and damage)
Destruction Judgement (+3 damage rolls)
Flames of the Faithful (Flame Burst on Iyandrosa)
Bane (Giant) (1/7 used) (Chianlii counts as a +3 weapon, does +2d6.)
Ilyandrosa- VS Flat Footed
1d20 + 19 ⇒ (6) + 19 = 25
1d6 + 14 + 2d6 + 4d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 14 + (4, 1) + (1, 5, 2, 1) + (1) = 31
Chianlii-
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33
1d6 + 16 + 2d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 16 + (3, 2) + (6, 6) = 35
Self-Harm
1d6 ⇒ 4

Dragox |

Remembering that Feek had always told him to fire away, because he was very good at dodging attacks, Dragox let loose with his explosive fiery spell from the Dawnflower, hoping to eliminate the challenge before the noise he heard inside made it outside.
Fireball Damage 7d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 4, 6, 2, 1) = 26
Reflex DC 17 for half damage.

Maysalkirii Weyog |

To fluff this out...
Maysalkirii nods approvingly at Dragox fireballing the tower, then poises himself on the balls of his feet. Just as Dragox's fireball lands, Feek uses the momentum of the blast to leap above the flames, somersaulting and landing back on his feet next to the singed Giants, completely unharmed and grinning in bloodlust.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21

Tahllana Skyhunter |

You can't fireball the roof?
Don't you have to have line of sight to cast fireball? She can't see the roof from the ground. Plus, Narses is between her and the ogres, and I don't believe he's as good at Reflexing as Feek is. :)
