I do have free time normally - it's just this week that's a killer. After this week (barring the couple of days I have exams) I'll be off uni until the end of July and will have plenty of time to do everything.

So, yeah. Continuing from here looks like the favoured option, which is totally fine with me.

If you guys know anyone that would be interested in joining us, do send them my way. Otherwise I'll be bumping the recruitment thread back up after I finish my big Java programming project, and figure out why my up/down synchronous counter counts up fine but doesn't count down >_<

The programming isn't a problem (... yet ...) although I may take you up on that one later.

Actually I do know a little, but that was three years ago. I can take a look at that and see what I can do, but first, I need to know what it's supposed to do.

I'm definitely in favor of continuing also. I may be a little slower than normal over the next couple weeks, but should be able to still update fairly regularly. It may coincide with plans to recruit and slow down for a bit anyway, but if you need to GM PC Ninivic to keep things moving, please do.

Okay, I think I need to give you a heads up.

I've been having emotional and anxiety issues for a while now. I'm seeing a psychiatrist Wednesday, and hoping that I can get something working out. I'm okay, I'm not about to go kill myself. (I've experienced what that does to family left behind, and why I am very much against suicide.)

On top of this I've been having issues with my faith. I am a Christian, and I've been having a series of crises of faith for the past few months to a couple of years. I'm not like one of the WBC people. I do believe that pre-marital sex, pornography, and homosexuality are sins, but I'm not about to go around saying "God hates F$*@!" He doesn't and neither do I. The only difference between me and someone who's not a Christian is that I have asked for the forgiveness that God has already offered. I've been scared in the past to speak about this on these boards, especially when I see some of the comments in threads that talk about religion. I know I'm most likely in the minority here, but I'm hoping that you see me as the same person now as before. The only thing that's changed is I'm trying to be more honest. I'm trying to open up and let people see the whole picture, instead of the bits I try to keep polished.

I'm telling you all this because I had a bit of breakdown this evening, and an epiphany. I'm using this game, these boards, and my computer as an escape. I've built a wall around myself and I need to start tearing it down. I need to be honest with you and myself. I've done such a good job closing myself off, that I didn't realize what I was doing until tonight when I had to have a heart to heart with my mom.

I'm telling you this to let you know that my posting is probably going to drop, maybe even drastically. I don't want to cut any of the games I'm in, but that may mean the GM has to GMPC my character. I'm going to be going though a long process, and it may mean that I do have to drop games so I'm not crippling myself.

Anyway. I hope that you all understand and can bear with me while I get this mess sorted out. I'm okay. I just need to work through this.

Hey guys, semester's finally over! Apologies for the brief hiatus, I will be poking the recruitment thread shortly to try and get some fresh blood into this game.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I'm considering starting an Eberron-based Skull & Shackles-inspired campaign. Instead of pirates on the high seas, there will be adventurers in airships. :)

@GM Alice: I hope the semester went fine ;)

As for the Eberron Skulls and Shackles, I would be interested in participating, both because I never actually got the opportunity to fully delve into Eberron, but also because I did start on a Skulls and Shackles PbP that died waaaay too fast :D

I will be reviewing past posts to update the loot sheet.

As far as recruitment goes, I am hoping that we get a solid healer :D

As for the Ebberon thing. I'm going to have to pass, though it sounds really interesting.

GM Alice, a couple of questions:

- Did any item on Tall Jack proved to be of superior quality?
- Since we lost two party members, shall I go ahead and divide the loot by the remaining?

So far the accumulated wealth from last incursion amounts to around 842 gold + a few silver to be divided by all - let me know :D

No masterwork gear, no.

Divide the loot by 5 (since Raseri died), because IC they earned it... I'll give the newcomers some extra gold to bring them roughly up to par anyway. I intend on having Zahar and Olofire leave IC with the next post after I recruit a couple more people. Sorry for the hold up guys!

Ok boys and girls - done the total math. Final count is:

-> 168.4gp 13.4sp 2.8cp each.

So, if I understand correctly we are offered 25gp for each bandit, which makes 8*25=200gp.

Is there any specific reward for taking Tall Jack down?

I wasn't able to find any particular reference to it after we defeated him.

GM-Alice, if we want to sell gear, can we assume the 50% usual percentage?

Also, are we allowed to do gear "upgrades", like masterwork sword to Sword+1? Or do we need to sell one(at 50%) and buy the other?

Zeltor - yes and yes, although you will need to keep in mind the gp limit of Zelkor's Ferry. You'll probably need to go visit a bigger city for most magical items (or place an order in, which takes time)...

To the new players, welcome! I'll be writing an introductory post shortly. I'm going to gloss over a lot of things IC rather quickly--feel free to roleplay it some more, but I think we all want to get back in the dungeon ASAP so it will be better this way. :)

I will be checking your sheets in a moment for any problems, but as far as the XP and gold goes, I just did a bit of an audit...

Everyone should be at 1390 XP. I'm going with the Medium track so this means it shouldn't be too much longer before you level.

Gold, I really need to go through this a little more closely, but I believe Zeltor started with +150gp... since then the party has gotten a little more, so I believe starting you with max for your class + 200 GP as I said should put you on roughly the same level. It'll all equalise soon enough anyway. (Assuming you guys ACTUALLY FIND THE TREASURE. :P)

@Vamptastic: Would you mind creating an alias for Harver? You can just link your sheet and so forth on it - but it makes it easier for me to find.

I can't speak for the others, but I'm okay. If you can't post because you see blue fairies because of the pain then you can't post.

Ok, managing the pain better, so Saturday shouldn't be a repeat occurrence.

Also, seeing blue fairies would be horrible, because you know they wouldn't shut up. "Look! Listen! Halp! Hey! Look! Listen!" I get it, there's a chest up there I can't get to. Relax.

Sorry, I fell a little behind myself, but caught up now. Whoosh, we're back at the dungeon with new cannon fodder :)

@GM Alice: Ok to handwave that during the storms, Ninivic used 300 gp of his loot to buy some supplies from around town to patch up his old beat up weapon and make it masterwork (per the Gunsmithing feat)? If you'd rather have him play out ordering supplies from his unit or something along those lines, that's cool too.

That's fine with me Ninivic. Let's say you spent the storm holed up in the smithy.

If we have - I'll probably take over a GM-PC for now. Do some subtle continuity GM magic and pretend they were in the party instead of Harver all along.
