Don't give up yet. He hasn't posted anything anywhere for 4 days which means that something is throttling him from the real-life side. Hopefully only temporarily.
It's holiday season so I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he's enjoying his holiday, or perhaps he doesn't have internet or wifi access.
At any rate, I am off to visit friends tomorrow until Wednesday. I should have wifi access, but I will be on my kindle again so less posting until I'm back.

Thing is, I've enjoyed this game and I don't want it to stop. How long do we give our GM?
Olaf was doing a great job as a GM. Ufortunately I have no idea how long it would be 'correct' to wait for him to return.
My main concern is in fact that he simply vanished without a word, because I worry that something serious might have happened, but if it didn't, a word would have been nice.
What do you have in mind Gav?
If you don't mind a little outside input, I'd try another week. I've been doing PBP for over 10 years and, frankly, this happens. It's an unfortunate thing, but real life steps in sometimes in bad ways.
You guys have great chemistry. I'm pretty loaded down with games at the moment, but if it came to it, I would run for you guys until Olaf re-appeared.
Like Garrosh said, I'm just hoping he's OK. He had a great posting record up until he vanished.

And I do agree there are many things that can suddenly block you from posting, or even having access to a mobile network on your phone. Heck, you may even have access, but not the mental availability to do it - I can understand all that.
I am just sorry to see this one dwindle, but maybe it won't. I say we follow GM Hands of Fate suggestion - I think Olaf's last post was on the 31st of July. Shall we wait until the 31st of August? See what happens then?
And thanks for your offer GM Hands of Fate - it is not usual to have someone offer to GM a game for others like that.

I did not see if Olaf had given you guys experience. Would someone let me know if that was given out for the gargoyles and ghouls?

Feel free to work out what you would like to award. There was an encounter with the Gargoyles that produced a few gems and the one with the ghouls. I don't remember how many gems - we were hoping to track the ghouls back to their lair and see if they took away the other gems. We have very little loot to show as of yet.

Looking back through things, I see there were a couple characters strongly advising not to follow the ghouls. Just want to get consensus.
I don't have time to really get things going today, and very rarely post on weekends. I'll check back on Monday and see if you want me to start then or wait until the 31st as you had previously decided.

Seems like there is always a split in which way to go which tends to slow things down a bit, but none of us get our feathers ruffled when the party goes in a different direction.
Well, FWIW, I figure if you go after the ghouls we might be seeing a TPK which means I'd be back in play sooner, so by all means go after the ghouls ;D
Not so fast, Gav. You know how easy it is to introduce a new character in a situation like that. I'd like to think that you would share our fate, whatever it may be.
