Guys I'm not going to argue, and I am ok with the house rule about invisibility etc, but no, undead aren't immune to glamers. They are immune to phantasms and patterns though:

Glamer: A glamer spell changes a subject's sensory qualities, making it look, feel, taste, smell, or sound like something else, or even seem to disappear.

Pattern: Like a figment, a pattern spell creates an image that others can see, but a pattern also affects the minds of those who see it or are caught in it. All patterns are mind-affecting spells.

Phantasm: A phantasm spell creates a mental image that usually only the caster and the subject (or subjects) of the spell can perceive. This impression is totally in the minds of the subjects. It is a personalized mental impression, all in their heads and not a fake picture or something that they actually see. Third parties viewing or studying the scene don't notice the phantasm. All phantasms are mind-affecting spells.

An undead creature possesses the following traits (unless otherwise noted in a creature's entry).

No Constitution score. Undead use their Charisma score in place of their Constitution score when calculating hit points, Fortitude saves, and any special ability that relies on Constitution (such as when calculating a breath weapon's DC).
Darkvision 60 feet.
Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms).

The confusion is in the subschools. Two are mind affecting, one is not. Glamers affect the object not the senses of the creature exposed to it. (Invisibility is a glamer btw)

In my years of gaming, I've never seen it ruled that way anywhere, Irenicus. I know, limited sample size and all, but that's been my experience.

Well, in my years of gaming I have never seen undead immune to glamers/figments at least since 3.0. but like I said it's a non issue, I'll remember that glamers count as mind affecting here. Just caught me by surprise lol

I don't mean to interrupt the philosophical discussion about how fancy spells work and all, but who other than Elathras was carrying the gear we bought back in the village before we went to RA? It's only relevant cause Elathras left his pack with the skeletons and I think it had most of the food...

Edit: Also If Elathras was carrying the items for the mule on roll20 that stuff is gone too.

Dolgrin, Virgil and Elathras are all 18 strength so their medium load capacity is 200. Elathras is already carrying 95 lbs, he can take 105 more. Virgil is at 97.5 lbs he can take 102.3, Dolgrin is approximately 90 lbs so he can carry 110 more. Mitlied, Daztor and Wdrozgrúk's strength are 14 making their medium load capacity 153. Mitlied is at 44 lbs, his he can carry 109 more, Katzor’s doesn’t have a total weight, so even if he is at 100 he can cary 53 more, Wdozgruk is at 53 so he can carry 100 lbs. So we have plenty of room to distribute the weight .

The one thing I would like to add to the list is scale mail for Daztor, he’s wearing hide armor, I would recommend the same for Virgil if he would take it.

If we assume Elathras, Dolgrin and Virgil split things equally and Daal took Virgil's share you guys should be ok, it looks like Elathras and Beltin will be sharing the three days that Beltin was carrying...

Well, a glamer is not a pattern or phantasm, and they also explicitly say when a school or sub-school is mind affecting, like phantasms. Those are different schools.

If it said: Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, glamers, patterns, and phantasms)

Then it would be a normal rule (not house rule)

Or if it said: Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, illusions).

Thought about learning hide from undead like you suggested but it is cleric only. Lol...

ok, when were ready to go elathras can help carry some of your stuff, I don't know the rules on "starvation" or such things, do you know off the top of your head what we would need to do in that case?

Beltin would tell Elathras the littler guy gets to eat the bigger guy in starvation scenarios as he can last longer that way.

we entered in a place where the roof closed on us, can we exit that way? Didn't we leave some pretty nasty stuff behind us, including the skellies? Also, Elathras and Beltin do not know where they are at, so we will need to find the way back to where they were.

yuck, I guess that's better than an int. roll to attempt to calculate the timing...

I don't want to abandon Beltin, so we may rest for a couple of days, waiting for a little more input. Is this even a safe enough room with the skellies so close to rest? Speaking of which, has the rest of the party even found a place they can rest at yet?

I don't think Elathras is going to starve for Beltin to eat. He will have to have Elathras get the food for him at 1 STR. I would think Beltin is in so bad of shape that Elathras would check through his pack for rations and water.

Your right, Elathras has no intention of starving...but Beltin only has a three day supply of food (according to his sheet;) so we are going to need to test that spike ball soon. The question is if Elathras goes with out Beltin or waits a couple of days for some strength or if Elathras should open the door and try and get to his pack. Again anyone's opinion on this would be helpful!

the party had fled to the north east upper corner and into the hallway outside of and south of room 9

edit room 9 was the room with the dirt floor and the dirt falling from the ceiling that we opened the door to but didn't go in, the other three doors in the northern hallway running east to west were all locked, the three party members who fled hid behind the door in the hallway running to the south but we didn't explore that hallway.

we came in at #1 and the skellies bushwhacked us in the room off of the door slightly north and west of the #1 on the map, Elathras exited the door south and west of the #1 on the map, that hallway led to the room that Elathras and beltin excaped too.

any ideas on how to fetch Mitleid out before he dies?

Could we use mage hand to drag a rope and loop one end through his belt and bring it back to us. That way we have both ends and drag him back. That would give us 25 ft length if he is in within range could that work?

I usually have mage hand prepared in all instances but for some reason my sheet doesn't have it, so unless someone else has it memorized I can't do it until resting.

I can't think of anything Kaz can do that can help save them. I'm certainly open to suggestions!

the only thing I can think of is if Kaz went with elathras and Mitleid he could take a round and heal elathras close to full HP. Then elatrhas can drag Mitleid out, avoiding the brown stuff on the wall that causes the cold.

As for beltin we should rest the three days he has food, then either throw him more food and wait longer or help him get out with a strength of four. Either way we will need to rest more because Daal will still be at a strength of four also.

I will try and keep in mind that at higher levels more team work will be needed and not have elathras go off 'half-cocked'

First let irenicus do know dungeoneering to identify the brown stuff. If Iam right he can destroy it via ray of frost. Which he has memmed. Then get me out via a rope wirh a sling.

in roll20 brv said the d3 roll was to see how many round you are down, he inferred that we had the three rounds to get you out before you might be hit with the spiked ball again, so time is of the essence here.

@ brv, Am I correct? Do we have only the three rounds or is there more time, or would you rather not say?

He is knocked down for three rounds is how I read it. The ball will then continue to make passes each round, once north and then south. But Elathras always goes...well never mind:=)

Kaz if you would have headed with Elathras and Mitleid that would be wonderful, everyone else could have stayed in the hallway with Daal (we still need a place to stay)

Kaz if you could heal Elathras again, getting him over 38 HP would be great, he will try and drag Mitleid out before the ball crushes him.

Then we can find a place to hold up, We can keep trying to open doors in the north east corner or we can just hold up in the crypt south of Beltin. We would need to kill the worms in the dead halflings bag if we did that. We then could at least communicate with beltin and lock the door from area #1.

Honestly, I don't play a cleric very often, and that didn't even cross my mind.
