male Halfling bard 1

Jerid runs up to the wagon as fast as he can.

next round you will arrive... Roll spot to see anything but a wolf

male Halfling bard 1

spot 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

nice roll

As you approach the wagon at first you only see a mounted man swinging at a wolf but, when you look across the road following the other's gazes you see a green skinned humanoid crouched in a bush...

male Halfling bard 1

Incase I need to roll for Init for next round Init 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

The initiative orderstays all through combat....

Group A: knight, sorcerer, archer (s)

Enemies

Group B: Rina, jerid

Male Human Rogue/1

Group A is still up, Naldoc is the only one that has acted so far.

Female Human Oracle (Occult/Haunted) 3 |HP: 18/18 | AC:15, T 12, FF 13 | Fort: +0 Ref:+2 Will:+5 |CMB +2, CMD 14 | Init+2 | Perc +6 | Spell points: 9/9

How is the wagoneer reacting so far?

oops forgot about him...

Swearing and cursing are the order of the day.... Still crouched behind the wagon, he seems calmer, butstill scared

HP 12/12, AC 20

Kale keeps calm and swings again as his horse lashes out as well.

Ride DC 5: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Hoof Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Warhammer Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

The horse lashes out and the wolf dodges the hoof, but retreats into the falling hammer's path...

The wolf's spine snaps like kindling and the life leaves the creatures eyes

Male Human Ranger-1

Seeing Kale fell the wolf Chadwick hops off the wagon and runs the direction of Rina.

Double movement towards the wounded goblin by following Rina.
Sorry about the sporadic posting this weekend I forgot to tell you all that this weekend was my buddies wedding and I was the best man, so since Thursday I have been non-stop and will give you a heads up in a future.

The goblin rises to his feet and fires a wild bolt toward the standing archer moving toward it

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 61d8 ⇒ 6

He misses horribly and starts struggling to reload

Male Human Rogue/1

Rina is up, then I believe Jared will be able to go to end the round. I'm not sure if he will be able to reach the goblin however.

Naldoc Tisbane wrote:

barring a teleport.. .not a chance.... And rina is a third of the way there

F Human Monk 1

Rina double moves, flailing helpfully at full tilt towards the source if the bolts.

male Halfling bard 1

as Jerid approaches the wagon he calls out "hail good lady may I provide assistance against the goblins"(so she doesn't think I'm with the goblins)

Archers and kale are up, cor is holding...
Rina and bard are moving toward goblin... Who goes just before they do...

Goblin still standing 40% miss chance

Male Human Rogue/1

Naldoc tries to hit the lone goblin with an arrow again, then takes in the scene around the party, looking for any more enemies.

Shortbow, taking -4 for cover, correct?: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 - 4 = 15
Arrow Damage if hits: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Perception for scanning area afterward, if appropriate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Roll % to hit

Male Human Rogue/1

To Hit: 1d100 ⇒ 45

Hope that is what you want. Still a bit unfamiliar with PF rules for combat in some situations.

HP 12/12, AC 20

Holding to see the results of Naldoc's arrow shot

>40% is a miss

The arrow flickers across the intervening space and the goblin saved himself from a fatal shot by twisting away at the last second reciving a sliced shoulder instead of a tonsil removal by arrow

Male Human Ranger-1

Chadwick moves halfway (30ft) then takes a shot at the goblin.

bowshot:1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 5 - 4 = 12
And a miss.

HP 12/12, AC 20

Seeing the archers having little luck, Kale decides to take a more direct approach. Dropping his warhammer and letting it dangle by it's chain around his wrist, he switched his Lance back to his main hand, wheeled his horse and charged.

Free action- Drop warhammer (hanging by weapon cord). Free action- change lance from one hand to the other. Full Round action, Charge

Ride DC 5 (control mount): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Power Attack, Lance Charge: 1d20 + 5 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 2 - 1 = 18
Damage: 2d8 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (7, 8) + 8 + 2 = 25

Hoof: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

shakes head sadly you can't charge through heavy undergrowth....

Crunch*

The lance slams the goblin's skull and the goblin drops the weapon clutched in it's hands and falls backward

The waggoner is safe

Male Human Rogue/1

"Are there any more of those things out there?" Naldoc continues to look in the brush on both sides of the road for more of these goblins.

Well, I survived my first fight! Granted I was at a safe distance the entire time, but survive I did. I think I even contributed to the group a little bit.

I'll get down and move toward the front of the wagon where Corynne and some child are at.

What is a child doing out here? Rizzy always said I was too small and too young for all this, but this guy is half my size! He'll surely get killed, how'd he even make it this far?

F Human Monk 1

Rina comes running back towards the wagon now. Still yelling. She's sort of out of breath now.

Male Human Rogue/1

"Kale! Are you alright? Is that blood? Someone help him!" Naldoc exclaims. If a trained warrior like Kale can get hurt facing these goblins, what chances do I have in a melee with them? Naldoc is starting to have doubts about how ready he really is.

HP 12/12, AC 20

Kale rides back to the wagon unbuckling his breastplate and pulling the laces of his padded doublet to check the nasty wound the goblin's weapon had left in his side.

"Little bugger got me good. I'm going to need some stitches."

So will yr horse, mister" the waggoner says looking at your horses flank where the wolves teeth did their work

HP 12/12, AC 20

"I'm going to need a little time to dress these wounds. Is it anywhere nearby we can stop to rest?"

Male Human Ranger-1

Chadwick comes strolling back to the wagon at his leisure, upon arrival see's the child like figure and lets out a sigh "Oh dear another fan came following me again, little one this place is dangerous for you. You should hurry back to your tow......wait young man do you come from a well off family or perhaps have an attractive older sister? Cause you might need an escort in that case?"

Male Human Rogue/1

Hmm, I wonder what one of these goblins look like up close. Maybe I'll go have a look at one of them. While the group tries to figure out what they are going to do and who this child belongs to, Naldoc will satisfy his curiousity and will go and check out the closest goblin corpse.

Assuming I get to one without incident I'll go ahead and search the one I found.

The green skinned creature is wearing ratty leather armor... It would stand about 3 ¹/2 feet tall and was wielding low quality but effective weaponry

Goblin Picture

Male Human Rogue/1

Ugly critters, just like Rizzy said they'd be. No gold, nothing of value on them, again just as Rizzy said.

I'll rejoin the party as I assume they either have searched or intend to search the other bodies.

Female Human Oracle (Occult/Haunted) 3 |HP: 18/18 | AC:15, T 12, FF 13 | Fort: +0 Ref:+2 Will:+5 |CMB +2, CMD 14 | Init+2 | Perc +6 | Spell points: 9/9

"Nice work, we've definitely got an efficient group here. I feel safer already." Corynne says with a smile.

"We definitely need to find somewhere to rest so you can take care of that." she says to the brave knight.

"there be a spot a touch down the road where there's a safe resting spot" the old man says pointing down the road

"get the boy loaded into the wagon... hurry up!" the wagoneer orders... then becomes flustered when he realizes that he just ordered a heavily armed group what to do... "wha I meant was..." he begins

Male Human Rogue/1

Respecting his elder, Naldoc climbs into the wagon as instructed.

was talking about loading the wounded guy into the back

Male Human Ranger-1

Chadwick eyes narrow at the Old Man, "I would like to remind you, that I am not charging you for my services. If you wish to order the grand Chadwick "Sure Shot" Nor'vell then you will need to start paying me otherwise you shall ask politely." He breaks the stare not waiting for the response of the wagon driver, then gets on the wagon and checks his bowstring.

HP 12/12, AC 20

Sir Kale just nods and tries to keep the grimace off his face, riding at the rear of the wagon, scanning behind them in case more goblins show up.

Male Human Rogue/1

"This kid sure isn't very talkative," Naldoc says to no one in particular. "I guess he was so scared to be out here alone that he just ran up to the first thing he saw. Good thing we weren't bandits or goblins."

Naldoc peers back at Kale as he struggles with his wounds. I wonder if my brother was as brave as Kale seems to be, especially when... Naldoc sighs at continuing the thought. There must be better things to think about while traveling the lonely roads of an adventurer.

HP 12/12, AC 20

When they reached the clearing where they could rest, Kale gingerly took off his arming doublet and the cotton shirt he wore beneath it and revealed how severe his wound really was. The goblin blade had gone in below his breastplate and had sliced open a ragged path that started just above his hip bone and wrapped around underneath his arm and up his ribs in the back.

His left pant leg was completely soaked in blood now, as was his arming doublet and shirt. He shook his head. "...lots of stitches."

But before allowing himself to be cared for he tended to his injured horse.

"I can keep her steady, but I'm a really terrible medic. Any of you any good with a needle?"

An 8 point wound is no joke at 1st level. Anyone have the Heal skill?

Male Human Rogue/1

My heal skill is +1 but untrained.

Naldoc sneaks a peek at the wound that Kale has now revealed and quickly the teenager looks away, closing his eyes as if trying to expunged the image from his mind. How can he stand the pain? I've taken my share of lumps in the streets but I've never been sliced open before.

Male Human Ranger-1

"Sorry lad, but I haven't needed to wrap my own wounds so I lack the skill. Though that's why I am a bowman, kill everything before it gets to you."

F Human Monk 1

The panting Monk finally makes it to the others...

And her player apologizes for the drama that ate her life.

"Here ... lemme ... help..." Pant, pant. Out sloshes Rina's little tankard again. Hey, its a kind of disinfectant, right?

Heal a Kale!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

The alcohol burns like hellfire and (I'm volunteering nal to assist) Naldoc takes the piece of linin wrapping from the old man and starts wrapping it around kale.
