In Dorter, Trade City]
Where at those adventurers?" The impatient merchant mutters, "I posted the dammed quest three days ago at every damned tavern in the area!"
He paces the floor impatiently...
when the door opens and a servant enters, "the brutes have arrived sir...they are waiting in the foyer..."
"send them in! Send them in!"

Naldoc Tisbane |

More impatient than shy, a rather short and young human enters in from the foyer without saying a word. He seems to be wearing what appears to be some worn studded leather, a backpack, a short bow and a couple of sheathed weapons, a rapier and a dagger it appears. Blond hair and blue eyes peer out from under the hood of the cloak he draped over his small frame.
Once looking about the room, taking notice of his surroudings, he stands politely but silently while nervously (and impatiently) waiting for the these other strangers to make their entrance.

Rina |

Rina swaggers. That's the only word for it, really. She swaggers, hands on her hips and surveying her surroundings at those with her, a little hint of a smirk at the corner of her lips as if she sees something funny everywhere. She is wearing monk's robes, and no armor at all, though there is a tankard tied to her belt. She's barefoot, and her hands are dirty.

Sir Kale |

The Knight wasn't exactly wearing shining armor. It was well taken care of, but pretty beaten up. His shield was unadorned and his tabbard was bare of heraldry. He wasn't particularly tall or imposing. So far he'd been quiet and unassuming. The most that could really be said about him was that he was "nice". As far as knights went, he wasn't all that impressive.
Which might be why he was answering the merchant's advertisement.

Chadwick Nor'vell |

A skinny man standing 6 foot walks through the door and pauses almost like he is waiting for applause, the gentleman takes of his beaten up tricorn hat revealing his blonde hair and weather beaten skin. "Don't worry good sir, Chadwick "Sure shot" Nor'vell is here. That's right ladies and gentlemen you will be working with me." He does a quick bow, which gives the group a better look at his longbow which decorated with cravings of various sea serpents. With no grand replies Chadwick's face turns a little red and he quietly stands to the side.

Naldoc Tisbane |

The short teenage boy chuckles a little to himself, seemingly enjoying the quick exchange between the stout Rina and the cocky longbowman. He takes a quick peek through the door, wondering who else might show up. He then steps back to the corner of the room, again keeping quietly to himself.

Master of the Campaign |
"I thought I said worthy adventurers" the rude merchant mutters... "it doesn't matter... I need you to clean out Ann ugly mess of goblinoids living near a area of land I recently purchased... They are living in around three caves if my trackers are to be believed... But anyway here" he signals his servant to unroll a scroll "is a map of that area and how to get there... Its very vague though....."

Chadwick Nor'vell |

"Glad I could a little joy to you madame." He gives Tina a slight bow. Then turns to the youth, "Why we are expendable my dear lad and he doesn't have to pay our grieving families if we die. But don't worry my dear boy the "sure shot" will keep you covered.'' With that comment he makes a slew of movements mimicking a bow being fired.

Master of the Campaign |
Each of you shall get a set of four Jewels of varying color and a small stack of coins.... I would recommend you getting better armor with your share.... Better than you deserve anyway...." He says, muttering the final bit...." Accept or don't, but leave soon....and take your dirty boots with you"
The servant rerolls the map and puts it into a carrying case... "here"

Chadwick Nor'vell |

Chadwick raises an eyebrow at the exchange and then blocks his mouth from Sir Kale then whispers loud enough for all to hear, You might want to start with showing him a little respect, especially if you want your nice stuff back with no damages. I'm fine with your comments cause I do need new armor and I tracked mud in on your rug. He ends it with a big grin.

Master of the Campaign |
"Alright." the knight says without looking back.
Outside, he unhitches his horse and waits to see which of the others were going to join him.
Before you leave the merchant calls out... "knight...what did you say your name was? "
The merchant leans forward, the heavy fabrics pushing against each other in folds
Chadwick Nor'vell |

Chadwick snatches the map, "I'll take that, and I'm Chadwick Nor'vell if you don't remember. Don't worry we will get your stick back" He gives the merchant a nod and hustled out hoping they take the cleaning bill out of his cut of the reward. Seeing the two others outside, and moves toward them.

Master of the Campaign |
whenever your ready to start traveling toward the area where the estate is to be built, I am ready as well.
"I want to know all of their names before sundown..... Darius, go around and find all you can about these 'adventurers'" the merchant says to a short cloaked figure that steps through a secret door after the party leaves.
"as you command, merchant Sodel-to-Fes..."

Sir Kale |

If Kale notices Rina's rough hands, he doesn't say anything about it. He simply shakes hands with everyone and takes his horse's reins to walk down the street.
"Pleased to make your acquaintance, all. I have no business in town that would keep me from leaving immediately. The lady can ride. I will walk with the rest of you."
I'm ready to go when everyone else is.

Naldoc Tisbane |

Naldoc is quite impressed with his newfound party members. The knight has a quality of leadership about him while the monk and the ranger seem to have a certain air of confidence. Hopefully Naldoc will be able to learn a thing or two about adventuring from them all.
Naldoc adjusts one of the straps of his backpack as he walks along side the ranger, trying to peer at the map. "I'm ready, let's go! So, where exactly are we going, Chadwick?"

Rina |

Rina seems mildly surprised that Kale isn't going to get on the horse too - she was just planning on hanging on the back. She seems a bit flustered of what to do with being a 'lady' in that sense and her face shows a smattering of emotion that she quickly decides to hide with her usual smirk. She's content to sit on the horse (astride the horse) her bare, dusty and worn feet hanging free of her robes. She rides like a sack of potatos, too. No fancy rider here!
