The gnome moves up as he hears the commotion inside the room; he is astonished when he sees the Unidentified Flying Human. My word! Lazlo exclaims. Isn't that interesting? I don't recall reading that most humans could fly...
Eventually he comes to understand that this UFH is the reason Seelah is in fact on fire. He considers admonishing the Paladin on the dangers of self-immolation, but reconsiders, and instead launches a magic missile at him.

@Seelah: You are on fire, and if you want the fire out, extinguishing the flames is a full-round action that requires a Reflex save. If you aren't putting them out, you don't need the save, just to take damage.
The Alchemist tosses a bomb at Eolowyn. It splashes out to 10 feet.

Lazlo steps forward, only to seemingly vanish from one spot and reappear on the far side of the room, still walking!
Lazlo spends a point from his arcane reservoir to use his Dimensional Slide exploit.
He then remarks, Ah! I believe that I have just the thing for this... and he draws a wand from his haversack.

Opposite a bench in the center of this room are a pair of stone statues set into alcoves, each one looking like a vaguely humanoid collection of gears and blocks. Unlike the other statues in this place, these appear to be mostly intact.

Lirianna rushes back to the previous room to pick up the pistol she dropped there. She then runs over to the room with the stone statues, reloading her weapons as she does.
"I wonder what this space is meant for," Lirianna mumbles as she looks into the room. While taking a few careful steps into the room Lirianne keeps her sword and pistol ready for combat.

Seelah opens the door to the west (there isn't an actual door, but hey...need to separate the rooms right?)
It looks as if some years ago something broke loose and tore apart this ancient workshop before ripping a hole in the eastern wall. Broken tools and implements appear to have pulled from the ruined remnants of this chamber and sorted into various piles.

This little machination here, the gnome continues, gesturing toward the aggressive statue with his wand, is an animated object, which is a construct. Constructs, don't you know, are immune to mind-affecting attacks and paralysis and poison and sleep and stun and nonlethal damage and ability damage and ability drain and fatigue and exhaustion and energy drain and death and disease effects!
Lazlo takes a breath. Whew, that's quite a mouthful! Now, in addition, it's important to remember that most constructs have something called "hardness" which can make damaging them via weapons quite difficult. So you'll need to do more damage than normal t—
